I've been going to Bell Dental Studio for over 20 years. Every hygienist I've had has been very good. The ladies at the front desk are amazing. Dr. Bell has always treated me well and is one of the most respected doctors in his field. Dr. Drew recently help transition and protect my smile by advising me through teeth whitening, bonding, and a night guard. Dr Drew was consultative throughout and used cutting edge technology. I couldn't be happier with the results. Bell Dental Studio understands the relationship part of the business. It never feels transactional. They even called to check up on me the day after my recent appointments to make sure I was doing well or had any questions. I highly recommend Bell Dental Studio.

I’m visiting Austin from Seattle and chipped a tooth. I called my dentist in Washington and he referred me to Dr. Drew Bell, who got me in right away. I just left Dr. Bell's office after getting a crown put on. Extremely pleased with the work he and his staff performed. Thank you, Dr. Bell.

Dr. Bell and his team at Bell Dental Studio truly are the best dental team I have ever worked with. I have a lot to say, but the short story is this, without any exaggeration, Dr. Bell helped save my life. Let me explain - I have been fighting a very complex and severe case of orofacial pain for around 383 days. I've seen an ENT, 5 other dentists, 2 orthodontists, 2 neurologists, 3 pain specialists, and 1 psychiatrist. My condition stumped all of them. Suffice it to say, I spent over $16k on 4 MRIs, many visits, and many procedures, and after just under a year, I was no better off than when I started. My condition? Severe, debilitating ear pain in both ears. To be fair, some of the doctors did contribute to stabilizing my condition, and for that I am thankful. Some of them had the right idea and were somewhat on to the underlying issues. Some of them didn't know what to do with me and gave up before they started. Dr. Bell is the ONLY one who had the right ideas AND the expertise, team & tools to get there. He was also the first dentist to offer a practical escalatory path to the "top of the mountain" if needed. In the end, my issue was 2-fold. #1) My lower jaw was badly out of alignment and I needed to have my bite repaired. When I first came in to see Dr. Bell, I was out of hope and in rough shape. Long story short, he showed such compassion and shared his views on how a device called a KOIS Deprogrammer might be able to help me. After some thought, I decided to take his advice and give it a shot. He made no promises, but exhibited a level of confidence that was crucially reassuring to me at the time. Another long story short, Dr. Bell's plan, over the course of the last 90 days, has started paying off in a major way. As we reached the end of the treatment (approx 3 weeks ago) I started having good days, pain-free days, days I wasn't sure I would ever see again. As of the writing of this review, I am nearly pain free. It's hard to put into words how much this means to me. I honestly feel, after such a long and brutal fight, I have a second lease on life. Now, I'm not totally out of the woods yet. As mentioned, there is a secondary issue. #2) I have what dentists have referred to as a rather severe case of sleep bruxism. The bite repair/jaw realignment performed by Dr. Bell took a giant bite out of this. I'd say 85-90%, but there is still the 10-15% left to resolve. In this case, Dr. Bell personally used his contacts and worked to get me into the best facility possible to handle the final phase of my treatment (the creation of a custom hand-made intraoral stabilization device to wear at bedtime). It's a few hundred miles away, but after my initial visit with this facility in March, I knew immediately Dr. Bell made the right choice sending me there. I am now in the process of the final phase and things are moving along nicely. Beyond that, I don't know how else to say it. I have such respect and admiration for Dr. Bell and his team. They've turned my life around. To help put things into focus - I am a musician of 30 years. Waking up one day with severe ear pain and having it get worse for 300 days in a row while visiting every kind of doctor you can imagine and getting nowhere, well, that was the toughest pill to swallow in my entire life. Losing music was the worst heartbreak I've ever experienced. I'm happy to say, as of 2 weeks ago, I'm back in the studio producing music again. If that's not a result, I don't know what is. Thank you Dr. Bell, JoAnn, Lisa, Luisa, and everyone else who has been a part of my journey at Bell Dental Studio. If you're looking for a dentist in the Austin area, I can't recommend Bell Dental Studio enough. And remember, I saw 5 other dentists before finding Dr. Bell. If only I had found him first ;) I hope this review helps someone else out there.
