The Feb 2021 deep freeze split 2 copper pipes in my pool heater. Replacing the part would have cost me $1000 plus labor. I was able to remove the heat exchanger, and bring the part to the shop. Benavides was able to repair the copper for me, all within the same day. Great to work with, and very responsive!

My RV hot water tank, which is aluminum, cracked during the freeze in February. I removed the water heater and took it to Steven’s welding shop in Louisville and he welded the tank for a reasonable price. I replaced the hot water heater in my RV and it works great with no leaks. Steven saved me over $700.00 and I really appreciate the good job that he did for me.

I wish more people would leave review. This place is amazing. The workers are nice and respectful and its always been a safe place to go. The weld everything.

If you want someone who knows what they’re doing, doing their job instead of just walking around & looking at the problem, who is respectful & gets your stuff fixed right away then he is your guy! HE IS EXTREMELY TALENTED! If my grandpa has another problem at his home then I’d definitely give Mr. Benavidas a call again.

Stick welding tends to work on thicker metals that have more carbon to them. It is used with copper, nickel, aluminum, etc

This was a terrible experience. Mr. Benavides said he was too busy with priority customers to deal with us. This was after about four weeks of waiting for an estimate. All we wanted was a lift welded on the back of our rv. After about two weeks we went in to find out what was happening. No one said anything about our job being too small or insignificant. We had reservations down south costing about $2000.00- we needed the lift to carry our scooter. With the excessive delay we lost our money and all he could say was that he had priority customers. If we had been told up front that this was not a job they wanted it would have saved us a lot of time and money. Seems to me he should care about his customers- big or small job.

I was in need of an adapter for an auger machine, stopped by the shop and in 20 mins Steven had us back up and running! Great work, great customer service!

Called multiple times to have him come out. Said he would be there each time, but never showed. I wish he would have just told me up front he was too busy or not interested. Very unprofessional.

I was in a tight pinch and it was after hours when I finally contacted Mr. Benavides. I had two other welders scheduled to do my job and both had canceled on me. Not to mention it was around the holiday time and a Friday afternoon nonetheless. He agreed to help me out and did my job that night until he was finished. Definitely made a customer for life. The project was light gauge stainless steel welding and he did a phenomenal job. Zero warping.

Mr. Benavidez did a wonderful job making and installing reinforcements for my windows and door in my jewelry shop.

Had a broken piece of aluminum. I prepped it for welding and Steve TiG welded it right up for me in about 10 minutes. I finished the machining at home and it came out great. Steve was professional, skilled and very helpful. It is great to find an experienced welder who can fix up odd things. Thanks Steve!
