The manager can't take constructive criticism.he seemed annoyed at me for sending my Jerk wings back because they were too salty. I guess he gothigh blood pressure cause his attitude was more salty than the wings

Perfect old school Austin neighborhood bar! Don’t order anything fancy drink wise, stick to the basics! Everything on the menu is superb! Steen is one of my fave bartenders!

I’ m sorry about this, but I have to put someone on blast as a matter of principle… I was assigned a pick-up from here 2 nights ago from a passenger “Nicole” who claimed she was a bartender. She messaged me prior to my arrival and explained that this was a ride for a friend. Per my usual procedure, I immediately stopped and asked her to confirm that they were in acceptable shape for the ride (not overly intoxicated). She confirmed, but I question her judgement considering they had to carry this gal to my car.

Here’s my issue: After I delivered the gal her destination, Nicole said she was going to give me a $20 for helping out. Newsflash: Uber drivers aren’t typically wealthy. So… I was looking forward to the extra cash. Ultimately I have never seen that money despite additional text messages.

Please don’t make promises you can’t keep. I won’t be available for any more pickups from here until this is addressed.

Good spot to have some drinks, the food was pretty good as well especially considering it's coming from a bar

Visited this place on 1/30/22 at around 2200 at the request of a friend. Right up on entering I received a less than hospitable attitude from the gentleman behind the bar after I asked a question about the food. Really soured my whole experience, I went around him and dealt with the female bartender for the rest of our evening. I was actually shocked that someone would be so rude after just being asked a question about the menu. Ordered some wings, and they were good, the lady working in the kitchen was nice and she brought us our food very quickly. I don't want to just let one bad apple sully a reputation, but it seems the management does not really care about the overall experience. This place could be great, it's location is good and the people who visit are fantastic. It is awful when you come across a sad story like this one. One star, solely based on customer service and cleanliness, would not recommend.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bender Bar and Grill, and I must say that it was a fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the stylish decor and warm atmosphere of the restaurant.

I mostly just go for the bar food. You might be pleasantly surprised with what you get. Everything I've tried has been good.

Kool as always. I LOVE the dogs people bring! Love pet friendly places! Employees Could be a little more Friendly tho. Especially that I'm not from Texas

Games booze and good music on the jukebox. Staff is uh.maz.ing. Wings are awesome. Can't ask for much more from a neighborhood bar

Had a great time went there on a Friday night was pretty busy but not packed. Had nice pick of activities, pool darts, pinball.

Place has a TouchTunes but won’t let you play any Spanish music… At all. Seems odd, I won’t say racist however suspicious.

This place is exactly what you expect. Great place for drinks. Dark as heck inside but, the patio is a great place to hang out. Bartender is fantastic. Only had fried foods when we were there, order the wings and you can't go wrong.
