Benihana, Dallas TX

It was my 1st time ordering from this restaurant since I'm new to the area. I ordered from this restaurant because of the photographs & reviews of the food. It looked so good on the photographs. I believe it's pricier compared to other places and so I was expecting better quality food. When I received my order I was disappointed. The taste was good but the rice hardly had any meat or eggs or vegetables. The shrimp was cut in tiny pieces. Honestly it was a joke on how little meat, egg, or vegetables this rice had. If I'm paying more is because I'm looking for better quality. I could have ordered from a Chinese place for half the price and same quality.

We came here for my son’s 19th Birthday the waiter was rude will never come back again… She acted like we was getting on her nerves, over talking us and just walking off… Horrible

Food was good but service was horrible from the hostesses to the manager.our cook was good though

We reserved a party of 20 for my moms 50th Birthday dinner. The Waitress was very rude. My mom walked in after we said surprise and she told me that the waiters were talking bad about us as I quote "this is going to be a difficult group they in there acting all uppity and acting like they dont know what they want to eat. " They didnt offer my table the tea not icecream I had to ask. The food was very bland and the chef was being very disrespectful and taking food off of some of the guest plates. Very horrible service and the prices are ridiculous for the taste. We will not be going back to that particular Benihana.

Go during lunch for reasonable prices. I always get the beef / shrimp combo with chicken fried rice. Beware the spicy fried rice. It's HOT

We decided to celebrate my cousin's birthday on December 6,2018. The lady who took our orders was horrible. She had a very nasty attitude and snapped at us while taking orders. She continuously rolled her eyes when we would speak to her.
She treated the chef, named Thang, even worse. She yelled and belittled him right in front of us and when he informed her that there were not enough rice bowls she yelled more in a language that I didn't understand. She never returned to refill drinks. If it wasn't for Chef Thang, this would have been the worst service I have ever experienced. Oh, when I informed management of her horrible service he said, "sorry". I

Not like the days of old. Food was tasty, fried rice was under cooked for my taste. Very little show just cooking.

We have been going here every year it seems that they were trying to get us in out very quickly food was ok but not great

I come here every year for my birthday, love the atmosphere and food. My only complaint is reserving ahead of time “Requesting to avoid being sat with families with kids”. The last 4 times I have requested this - because of the un-controlable children completly ruins the experince when children are screaming running amuck. I dont want to pay 100 dillars to watch juinor scream throw food and watch the parents just let it happen. I have even requested to wait for a table and still sat us with kids to the left and right. Other than this I love this place!

Made reservations, checked in asked to wait 15min. After 34 min went to inquire of the wait. The person that checked us said he never seen us, as i had already got the manergers attention. The manager started question us about who checked us in. There is more, the Manager instead of listening to our issue, started telling us about how busy they were & how time of closing and other stuff. I politely stoped him & said i was informing him of this issue so No 1 else have to through this. Simply put Managers sucks, hence subordinates follow. Use other Location, my Advice! Gave it 1 star cause there are no Options for Negative STAR

The server we had wasn't helpful at all and charged me for extra food that I didn't order. He was also extremely slow considering the place was pretty much empty. The food was alright but for the price you should either get a lot more food or it should at least have taste but unfortunately you get neither here. The alcoholic drinks also didn't taste very good. The cooking in front of you is really fun and cool but it was short lived for us when the cook gave portions of the food we ordered to everyone else. Since we were at the corner we were last to be served and received what was left over. So we paid more and received less food than the people at our table and then didn't get all the food we ordered.

Very cool experience. A little high priced but you get a 3 course meal & an experience. So worth it

The food was amazing but our server was in such a rush and so rude. The chef was good and entertaining.

Trying to get a reservation was HELL! My children and l tried yo get a reservation for 2 days but to no avail. Finally on the Friday of the party, my sister went to Benihana and was able to secure our reservation. Because our party included 20 people we had to wait for 2 hours. The wait was worth it. Our party was seated and our dining experience was suburb! The food was great and the food preparation was awesome! I will visit again but not with a large party. Thank you Benihana for a making our night a success!

HORRIBLE tutu was our chief and he didnt know what he was doing he. 1st off I had hair in my fried rice 2nd I was looking for my noodles after my fried rice it didn't get on the grill until after everything was finished SAD THEN my steak was burnt I've had good times here BUT TONIGHT 12/22/2018 HORRIBLE and it lacked SEASONING

Such an amazing experience! Even on Christmas night without a full crew. Everyone stepped up to do a wonderful job.

My 2nd time coming here, The food & experience was awesome. Please try the sushi it's so good, I'll definitely be back.

Sadly my family and I got Food poisoning from here. Never again, although our waitress was amazing, but our cook was having a bad day.

The food was good but I’ve had better. The service was good too I guess. Probably won’t go back.

This place really does a great job of providing an engaging customer experience. My entire family usually goes and has a great time, with all age ranges loving the food and the chef. The only thing that could be improved are the drinks.
