Benjamin D. Havemann, M.D., Bee Cave TX

I am struggling with something chronic and one of my practitioners suggested I see a GI. My spouse and I both found Dr. Havemann lacking in patience and empathy. We had hoped to find a team player to help me get to the bottom of, or at least figure out how to manage, a long term health situation that is just getting worse. What we found was short temper, annoyance, no direction with tests - let’s just do all of them, he didn’t want to hear about any symptom I had that wasn’t specifically my stomach, and what felt like a man who doesn’t like middle aged women who complain. I honestly am grateful my male partner was there as he just came across annoyed. I can see there are many positive reviews, but I would suggest women, those with complex conditions, and those with chronic conditions seek a different provider.

Dr. Havemann is caring, kind, respectful and very professional. He takes the time to assess, evaluate and make valuable health recommendations. Excellent doctor.

My husband and I will be forever gracious to the on-call doctor who arrived to perform an emergency EGD operation on my husband. A true hero, this man saved my husband’s life. Dr. Havemann has years of expertise under his belt and it shows through his work, his detailed explanations, advice, and insights. He truly cares about his patients and will do his best to deliver top of the line patient care. You are in good hands with Dr. Havemann.

I was instantly comforted by the way Dr. Havemann took charge of my health issue and questions. His command of gastroenterology is obvious, and his staff is courteous and friendly.

11/18/22. Dr. Havemann ordered an endoscopy 4 days ago! I have called many times with no one replying to set up this procedure! This is not a routine test; I am uncomfortable with continuous nausea! I am so disappointed that, as a current patient, I am not being treated with respect or see a desire to solve my problem!

Dr Havemann, has a great bed side manner, down to earth, very kind, and through. The staff is as equally phenomenal as well. Highly recommend.

Our experience at Dr. Havemann’s office was great! My friend is completely blind. Sommar went out of her way to make sure my friend was comfortable and at ease! Dr. Havemann was very nice, clear, and straight to the point! On our way out, Cassie stopped what she was doing to help us get back home as fast as possible! Thank ya’ll so much for caring!
