Dr. Walton did an incredible job with my cataract surgeries and lens replacements on both eyes. He has an excellent team that help make the process seamless and provide exceptional care. Dr. Walton talked to me throughout both surgeries, explaining what he was doing - which was very comforting to me. I was amazed at the quick recovery time and thrilled that I no longer need to wear prescriptions glasses for distance and close-up. I highly recommend Dr. Walton.

I have been seeing Dr Walton for followup care for over 5 years. He has always been attentive, knowledgable, and supportive of my continued care plan. I had LASIK done by Dr Walton at his previous practice. I was very nervous going into the procedure even to the point of not being sure I would be able to go through with it. Dr Walton’s personality was very calming and was exactly what I needed to get through the procedure. While it wasn’t comfortable, he walked me through it as it happened and made sure I was ready with each step. The results have been amazing, I was watching my dogs run around the back yard that same evening. Took a few weeks for everything to fully settle but my vision ended up at 20/20 in both eyes. 2 months in and I’m still amazed that I can just get up and see.

Dr. Walton saw me when I had a corneal ulcer and immediately helped my pain and fear go away! He was so caring, and he always fit me into his busy schedule!

I had Laser Vision Correction (specifically PRK) performed by Dr. Otis Bennett Walton. I do not typically write reviews for places or services, but am taking the time to do so today to describe the incredible experience I had with Dr. Walton. I could write several pages describing how amazing it is to go from being a glasses/contact wearer to being able to see better than perfect (and yes, I can now see better than I have ever been able to see in my life). However, if you're reading this right now, you are probably trying to decide if you should use Dr. Walton for a Laser Vision Correction on your eyes. I could have gone anywhere to receive this procedure, but I went to who I believed was the best. If Dr. Walton was not already located in my home city, I certainly would have taken a flight anywhere in the country to have this procedure performed by him.

You see, when I received the PRK procedure, it wasn't only about having a final outcome of perfect vision. It was also about feeling confident and comfortable throughout the whole process. It is intimidating laying on your back and having a giant piece of equipment hover over your head that more or less burns through the surface of your eyeballs. Dr. Bennett Walton made this process as stress-free and comfortable as he possibly could have. I am confident that this positive and comforting environment made a difference in my vision outcome, as it allowed for me to remain still and have a full understanding of the procedure as it was happening. Every step of the way I was told what was happening next. I was told what I was about to feel. And I was treated with dignity and respect throughout - I truly felt as though my well-being was the his number priority every step of the way.

To top it all off, I had a follow-up appointment a few days after the surgery. It happened to be a day in Houston with 20 degree temperatures and sleet and ice on the streets. He reported for duty when others may have just canceled and put the well-being of his patients first.

Dr. Walton has been a great eye doctor for myself, my husband and my children for several years. I will do cataract surgery with him when it's my time, and I trust him to monitor me until then. We've had special eye issues with different family members and Dr. Walton always treats us as if we were family - specifically stating "if you were my uncle" I would or wouldn't do this as a treatment. Glaucoma, cataracts, eye infections, plus annual eye exams, contacts and glasses.

My appointment with Dr Walton was excellent. I had a very thorough and professional eye exam. Dr Walton had all the time I needed to understand the health of my eyes and the corrective options I have for my vision. He was very professional and very pleasant. I highly recommend Dr Walton.

In addition, Dr Walton performed cataract surgery on my 92 year old father. My Dad has only one eye and therefore I wanted only the best care possible for him. His eye wasn't healthy enough for the range-of-vision lenses, so Dr Walton helped find his ideal focal point based upon his activities, which include reading and computer work. In my Dad's own words:
