Berries & Batter Cafe reviews
13First time visiting and this place is so cute! Fun vibe! The food is delicious! Definitely a fun atmosphere for a good breakfast spot!
If you like the atmosphere of sitting in a school cafeteria this place is for you. This restaurant has zero sound dampening in place so the entire time you are eating its like sitting in a room with everyone yelling at each other, cause they are. In addition the checkout process is the worst, you have to bring your ticket to the same counter at the doorway that people are funneling in to get a seat, the area is very tiny and super unorganized; it need to be moved to the wait staff. Food is good but not worth the experience.
Definitely my favorite brunch place! This place is super cute inside, the staff is pleasantly friendly, and the food & cocktails are incredible!
This spot is basically Barney’s Brunch House 2.0. They have a full bar so be prepared to drink and try out some of their creative cocktails. Food was just ok. More on the bland side as I has to add salt to everything and asked for a side a salsa to give it some kick. Service was fast so that’s a plus. Not sure if I’ll go back as I wasn’t super impressed but not a bad brunch spot if you’re looking for something lowkey.
I arrived and this place was thriving! I sat at the bar and was served immediately! I had a mimosa and the loaded grits! To my surprise the sausage was kinda spicy which I loved it was served as I ordered and it was delicious. The art and ambiance in the establishment was so beautiful and Kevin was explaining that it was created by local artists. It was beautiful! Kevin was very knowledgeable about the establishment and it was fun to conversation with him about the growth of the restaurant. There is another location in Highland Village that is not under the same ownership. The vibe was so positive. Everyone spoke and was friendly. Multiple staff made sure I had been helped.
I went back and took my daughter! I love it more!
Overall, a great experience. Food and drinks were great. We went on a Thursday and the restaurant is fairly busy, and service was still fast and efficient. We will probably come back whenever we are in the area.
Usually pretty decent but today was a let down. Several of our items were forgotten so we had to ask for all the things that were missing, biscuits seemed stale, gravy was cold, zero refills on our drinks, we asked for coffee to go and it never came so we just left. We'll be back because we've enjoyed our visits usually, but today was particularly not great.
I enjoyed it our experience at Berries and Batter. Clarissa, she is a bartender at the restaurant made our experience very enjoyable.
She was engaging and made sure we had everything that we wanted, and needed.
The food wasn't anything exceptional however I would make a return trip just for the experience.
The brioche cinnamon French toast was amazing. Honestly didn't even need the syrup. The Omelette was excellent and fluffy. Our server was quick and friendly and the overall aesthetic was nice, open, and clean.
This is not the cozy quiet place. It’s crowded noisy with really good food. I had the Skilkets and it was funtastic. We also tried other dishes and it was all really good. The speed of service is also fantastic. If you get there and see a big crowd, don’t run away. They do have decent speed traffic and nit moves really fast.
Cute little breakfast place. Love the decor and atmosphere. My food was good for the most part (the bacon was cold and tasted a bit burned) but I loved the crepes with whisky banana sauce!
I’ve been here twice and the food is so tasty! This last time we came close to closing and the staff was still so friendly and kind and we didn’t feel rushed at all. Yummy food and great service. Also a very cute/eclectic place!
