Best Buy reviews
19I was looking for a laptop, the gentleman that helped me was very knowledgeable on the tech specs i was worried about.
Bought new TV, sound bar, and an antenna. Went back after about three months with some technical issues and the staff answered all questions and fixed our issues.
BestBuy is just like Gamestop. No one understands how they are still in business. Almost everyone that works at a BestBuy doesn't know 1/4 of what they are talking about. They're just really good at memorizing the info off the product box, but couldn't tell you a thing about it other wise.
Horrible workers. Was there today looking at TVs and soundboard and not one person assisted me or even spoke. They just stand around and look clueless. I was in there for over 20 minutes so I just left and made my purchase online
We have visited this store several times. I'll say I like the amount of items on display to see in person is awesome! I like to see stuff in person before I buy on a large purchase. On the other hand, although the staff seems to be knowledgeable, they also seem resistant to want to actually talk with you and answer questions. Not all, but some of the stuff. As we shopped for appliances, the sales associated seemed annoyed or very distracted while trying to help me with washers and dryers. He offered to help me, then seemed to look around and turn his attention away from me as he was answering questions I had. I'm not impressed with the customer service here. Sorry I seemed like a burden to you.
The computer department was helpful with employees who were not pushy to get me to buy something I didn't want. This has been my experience at different retailers and one reason I still prefer to shop here. I usually come in with a general idea and maybe a couple of questions to narrow it down and they were able to more than meet my needs where I left with a purchase.
Be careful. If you even return the item the next day. Once you open the box and see if it works and if you don't like the quality. You will automatically pay a 15 percent restocking fee.
I always enjoy visiting this Best Buy. The employees are always super helpful and professional. If I can't find what I'm looking for, they help me find it.
The only thing that would have been better is if best buy would give military a Discount!
Great deals and great selection on person electronics, shavers, tooth brushes, ect. And "BOOM" Bluetooth speakers, T. Vs, personal A/C units which this time of season everyone should own for emergency back up. Thank you to Morton Air Outta West, Tx
For this awesome recommendation. Anyway our # 1 electronics go to place with The Geek Squads' help.
Alex in computer's was amazing and I was in and out super fast, thanks Alex best experience I have ever had in any electronics store.
I was doing an instacart pickup. I just went to the customer service picked it up went and delivered it really quick and really friendly people
Typical Best Buy experience, just on a smaller scale. One visit you're asked if you need help every 5 min and the next you are ignored your whole visit. Last several times I've been there, stock/shelving seemed sparse maybe due to continuing supply chain issues. Staff interactions have generally been friendly, however, product knowledge can be hit or miss.
Went there to get my boyfriend's Apple watch repaired. Employees were very nice and helpful.
I was greeted with rude customer service from the geek squad department of the store. I made a trip on the local transit and was told my iPhone SE was not serviceable for a battery replacement so I wasted a trip with rude stereotypical of an African American man and I left without purchasing a thing, and I'm surely thinking about returning my 32 TV inch daily deal order for a refund. I would not recommend that you shop here at all.
It was a quick trip in and out and my new S23 Ultra is the best decision I ever made! This thing rocks! The staff was courteous and professional and it's so easy to activate and transfer data to the new phone! Modern technology, gotta love it!
Decent selection of electronics and friendly service when you can find someone who isn't already helping other customers. I'll continue shopping here.
The install department was very helpful with the information I needed to get the power inverter in my semi. Thanks sorry I forgot his name
First of all let me say I train customer service reps so I am always paying attention to the service provided to me and my family everywhere we go. I am NOT a Karen nor am I quick to anger of get frustrated. I understand things in life happen beyond peoples’ control so no need to fuss at them and make their job any harder.
With all that being said my experience with the Geek Squad here was very disappointing (not laying blame on all geek squad personnel as I was only helped by a select few) -
After I was told my laptop would have to be shipped off for repair I would need to answer ever unknown phone call to get the diagnosis. And I did answer but never got a call over a 2 week span. Just an email today that says it’s ready!? !? ! So go pick it up ask the employee to plug up the charger to my laptop to ensure it was charging and holding charge. We stood there shooting the breeze as my laptop was supposedly charging. “Everything looks good you’re all set”. Got home laptop dead (wouldn’t come on at first). And the charging port was glitching so waiting to see if it’s going to charge after I was told “it looks good”.
I certainly don’t condone the behavior of a Karen at all but I can see why a normal rational person could get upset because they were told something that wasn’t true due to the employees lack of knowledge or just sheer disinterest. Yeah Karen’s need to be held accountable but so do service personnel who could potential be the reason for the mistrust and frustration. We have let work integrity fall beside the waistside. Even still I have no interest in cussing anyone out but just hoping my laptop charges and they do better by the next customer
