Best Fabrics, Dallas TX

Took my vintage wingback chair in to be reupholstered. Had some issues when picked it up but they worked with me to get the problem resolved. The chair is exactly what I wanted and looks beautiful. I would recommend Best Fabrics. They are willing to work with you and it was a pleasure doing business with them.

Less than helpful. This is a great place with a huge selection if you know what you're looking for. If you're like me and you need help, this isn't the place. I saw a fabric that I really liked and asked a worker how many double rubs. She didn't understand the question so she asked a man to help me. He looked it up in a book and told me 25K. That wasn't enough for what I needed so I asked him if they had anything similar in a higher DR count. He replied "no" and walked away. That's it. No offer to help look for something else, no recommendation on where I could possibly find what I was looking for. Just walked away and didn't look back. I walked around the store a bit and then left. I needed 39 yards of upholstery fabric but clearly they didn't need my business. I doubt I'll go back because of the poor customer service I received. But if you know what you need and you don't need much assistance, this is a good option because they have a HUGE selection of really nice fabrics.

The team at best fabrics reupholstered my leather furniture to cloth and the results are breath taking. I wish I could post pictures here.

The best prices on a lot of different types of material. My wife loves it! Chairs to sit on, so I loved it too!

Good selection but very few of the fabrics are labeled as to their composition, so kind of pointless to go if that's important to you.

Home decor fabrics and trims plus they make custom headboards, reupholstery projects, bespoke drapes, etc. Also carry outdoor fabric and you can custom-order leather - you can't buy whole hides. Comparable to the other large home dec shops like Childress Fabrics (maybe cheaper), Cutting Corners (more discount but less selection), Calico Corners and Rutherford's.
Ideally you'd bring the piece in if you want it reupholstered. If you can't, you'll need pictures, and as many measurements as you can get. Plus, if you'd like the cushions re-made it ups the $. All this needs to be done IN THE STORE because - no offense - language barriers at play.
*TIP: Don't go here for apparel + fashion fabrics unless you're already shopping in the area - it's not enough selection to be worth your while.

Great selection of fabric. Always find what im looking for. Not only do they carry a vast selection of fabrics but they also have a great selection of dual shades Just got all my windows installed and I love it!

I discovered Best Fabrics about a year ago. I love the fabric selection and the services they provide. They made some drapery for me. There was a small problem with them. I asked if they would fix them. They didn't hesitate. Not only did they fix them but there was no extra charges & I received them several days later. They turned out beautiful. I was pleased & will have some upholstery work done through them. Highly recommend Best Fabrics.

I would not use these people because they do the orders just like they want regardless of what is ordered, then they will not correct the problem.when you call they all of a sudden can not talk English any more.not a good store to purchase from

Went there today tons of fabric got everything i needed, very helpful i think iam in love with that women that run's that place. But she doesn't know it, I'll be going back for more geart great fabrics.

It was not as clean as Gold D'or up Harry has a block or so.and not as much merchandise or good deals. I looked around for 30 minutes and could not find anyone who could help me.not too friendly as it was closing time. I live 2 hours away felt like I should have stayed in Gold D'or before closing time and time to drive back home.

Walking in, a got so many ideas for my windows. After I finally found fabrics with all the colors and textures I wanted, the staff help me finalize my decision on gorgeous drapery panels! This was by far the best fabric store I have been to on Harry Hines and Perth Street! It was a wonderful experience! This location is well organized and clean with the most helpful staff! This year I am off to a great start with the help of Best Fabrics, Thank You!

This store is just fabulous! I really enjoyed my Saturday looking at beautiful selectons imaging how my house would look like.spent over 2 hours there talking to the gentleman sharing ideas and various designs, thank him for that.
I coud definately say, Best Fabric is truly the best fabric store in town.

Not happy with these guys. I got curtains from them years ago. I went back to day to see if I could get my hardware upgraded. Their response was they are too busy to even consider coming to my house to get this done. Mind you, I wasn't asking them to do it for free. I was going to purchase new hardware and pay for the installation. So they are discriminating on the type of jobs they are willing to take? Not caring that I am a previous customer? Thank you best fabric, I will find somebody else.
