Best Western Bastrop Pines Inn

Great hotel, good location, friendly staff, clean hotel and rooms, comfy bed, wonderful AC! The best part 100% smoke free hotel!

Lobby was clean and staff nice. The wall in the room needs to bee clean, there was a dirty towel in the bathroom and the carpet needed to be vacuumed.

Great Service and Staff but the building could use a remodel. Rolando, Elizabeth and the bearded guy were awesome during our stay!

Right by freeway and good stop from Austin on the way to college station. Awesome service! Ok breakfast.

Don’t stay here. No internet and no one cares that there isn’t. Would be better off at super 8 or motel 6.

Nice people, a hard bed, and a hard couch. Forgot my slips to use when using the shower. No mat was provided like Giddings Best Western.
Giddings is a lot better if you are traveling to Houston. There more rules at the Giddings location but that's ok with me.

Stayed here for a COTA weekend. Room was clean, beds command staff friendly. Definitely would stay here again and avoid the traffic nightmare of heading back into Austin.

We had a good visit. We stayed for work. Our room was very convenient. We stay here every month when we pass through.

My husband and I stayed for one night. We arrived at 3 am, the agent who helped us was very friendly and helpful. Room was super clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was nice. We had couple of options form egg and bacon or waffle. Love that they had fruits among other food. Jennifer and Veena were super helpful in helping me get an item I left behind. Both ladies call me back and email me to keep me updated. I would definitely come back.

Insomnia is a thing that typically leaves one without sleep, but in this case I was left with quite the book recommendations.

We had roaches and bed bugs that bit our 2 year old. Manager never called me back regarding a refund. Which by the way they "don't do refunds". So if you have roaches or bed bugs they offer to change your room to another room.yeah no thanks.

Very comfortable stay. Rooms were clean and nice.
Pool was really gross. No circulation of water, lots of debris and super hot. Luckily most people won’t use the pool.

We used BW Bastrop Pines in for our wedding hotel block and it served it's purpose beautifully. Is it a luxury stay with breakfast to write home about? No. Is it an affordable, clean room with Texas-shaped waffles for breakfast? Yes. We had almost the entire place booked Saturday night, and quite a few rooms Thursday and Friday as well. The only guests who had any issues booking were the ones who did so after the block rate ended so... Their fault. Lol. The front desk staff was very pleasant and congratulated my husband and I when we first arrived there. Every morning, there were members of both sides of the family having breakfast together and swapping stories. It was lovely.

The most impressive thing the staff did for us happened the night of the wedding. My husband and I, along with the majority of our 130 guests, rode the shuttle back to the Best Western and began to congregate in the lobby. Most of the people staying in the hotel were there for our wedding so the group continued to grow. My new mother in law spoke to Austin at the front desk and secured a conference room for us to continue the party. It was perfect for more mingling and face time with our guests. We even had all of the leftover food brought in there and it was quickly devoured! It was such a nice gesture from the staff and we really appreciated it! Veena, the manager, was also very nice and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

Great atmosphere. I also must say, the night time front desk worker (the very spunky upbeat one) was AMAZING. I’ve been traveling state to state for work, for an entire year now. Been to 38 states and counting, multiple times each, staying in hundreds of different hotels and motels, and he BY FAR was the NICEST, most GENEROUS, and OUTGOING front desk worker we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. And he works NIGHTS. Nobody that works nights is ever that nice. I work nights and I’m grouchy. So that’s really saying something. I don’t know how long he’s been working there, but if he hasn’t gotten a raise yet he certainly needs one asap. Seriously one of the kindest humans we’ve met in a LONG time. I can’t remember his name, but he’s super tan and has grey hair, and you’ll know em when you see em.

Clean atmosphere, good location, and a continental breakfast again! Only downside really was the lights were not very bright.

Rolando was absolutely amazing! Detail oriented, very welcoming, and informative. Most importantly, Rolando was very patient with all of our accommodations.

Super nice staff. Worst cleaning service. Room was dirty AF. Candy wrappers from previous guest under nightstand. One towel in bathroom for 2 guests. Light burned out in room that I replaced. Expensive for what you get. $170 a night.
