Nice, clean room.
Exceptional free breakfast buffet that is carefully tended by a staff member.

Everything was great until we lost our wallet in our room (we never left the hotel until check out). $1,500 dollars in cash and all of our bank cards. They let us search the room after the mantinance guy was already in the room. No one seen the wallet of course. I guess someone got a nice "bonus". I hope they are happy we won't be able to pay our gas or electric bill this month.

Highly Recommend. Jennifer and Savannah were very welcoming and helpful. Our family was here for a funeral and they gave us a group rate. Breakfast was excellent quality. The room was clean and beds were very comfy. They definitely made our stay and visit to this area better.

I complained about a cigarettes an hour after I check in and reported to the desk.
The OWNER went to the room and check and told me I smoked in the room and told me he needed to notify the police. An hour after check in

On top of that my bag was unzipped and still packed but when I got back to the room my bag was went through

I stay in hotels for work 4 days a week. And this experience was worse then a $50 roach motel

The rooms are always clean with modern amenities. The staff is always friendly and attentive.
I’ve stayed here often over the last several years when I’m in the area on business. I have also stayed here with my family on vacation choosing this location over ones in San Antonio proper due to my experience here.

My husband left his review, but I felt I needed to add my own review as well. This place is gross. These 4 stars people are leaving for this hotel must have pretty low standards. There were roaches in our room and I immediately wanted to leave but didn’t since I had finally gotten my 3 month old baby to sleep (this was her first time away from home and it was quite difficult to soothe her and any parent knows how hard that is to do especially in an unfamiliar place). It was after 11pm and my husband wanted to get something he had put in the mini fridge and spotted a roach on the fridge. After chasing it around before killing it we both looked at each other like this isn’t going to be a good night. Now, if there are roaches in our room then logically speaking there are roaches in the whole hotel. Disgusting! I zipped everything we brought in up and put it on the table had a horrible night sleep and in the morning wanted to leave. My husband tried to convince me that the staff would accommodate us in some way and after waiting there all morning the manager never showed up so we just decided to pack up and leave. Which honestly I should have gone with my gut feeling the moment we got there the day before because the outside and inside of the hotel is truly disgusting but I didn’t want to cause any issues on an already stressful situation after driving 3 hours from Houston with a 3 month old. My advice is to just go to Embassy Suites. Soooooo much nicer and better quality!

For the location far out in the south of San Antonio the Best Western is a great to a resting night. The Fitness Center is good enough but not in good shape. There is a pool and a business area for working. The breakfast has a funny note with the Texas form wafflemaker. The toppings for the yoghurt has some Ants for the extra protein and the coffee is tasty. Rooms are wide and open and clean.

Owners - management parks their car at the front entrance, I would have thought that was convenient for customers to check in

Jetted tub in king suite is great! Laundry on site, pool, and hot tub. Breakfast had long hours and was better than most "free" breakfast. Location was easy to find with a direct connection to I-35.

For the price I was a bit disappointed in the room. The cloth covered bench in the room was dirty and badly stained and should be steam cleaned or traded out. The bed skirts in our room were stained as well as stains on the bed spread. The service was ok.

FYI. The place is fenced off and looks abandoned, the only other hotel is best Western plus $199 a night and no pets allowed.

Hotel is clean. The wife of the owner who is behind the desk isn't very pleasant. Prices are a little high for a hotel in Lytle but it is the nicest option in the area. I stayed a week there and upon arrival there was 12 state trooper police crusiers in the parking lot/staying at the hotel (not sure if that is typical). Beds and rooms are updated, no complaints. Don't ask for a late check-out, they aren't friendly about that. On my last day of check-out I recieved a rude call at 10: 30am from the lady at the front desk telling me check-out is at 11am.then at 10: 45am recieved another call from front desk telling me to hurry up and that they would charge me for an extra day if I wasn't out by 11am. (super rude). Seeing as I paid $900 for 7 days at a 3 star hotel you'd think they would be a bit friendlier.good hotel, bad prices and front desk lady (wife of owner) is not pleasant.

The rooms are small. The bathroom had hair all over the floor.at the front desk they charged me extra. Tony at breakfast was great very helpful and nice.

I wish I could give them 10 stars! It's a beautiful hotel, looks like brand new. The staff is so friendly and helpful! For breakfast you get a full hot meal served to you by a friendly staff member. Scrambled eggs, sausage, delicious French toast or bean & cheese breakfast tacos, juice, coffee, cereal. We spent 3 nights there and would highly recommend this hotel!

We will definitely be returning! My husband & I have a business that requires traveling to different locations all over the US, guess you could say we have a lot of experience in hotel reviews lol.
This hotel is by far the BEST we have stayed in! The atmosphere is incredible, the rooms are amazing, the breakfast is awesome, the staff is great! I also want to thank housekeeping, EXCELLENT JOB! I owned my own housekeeping business for 14 years, i started out cleaning hotels so I know how hard you ladies work. You are greatly appreciated! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!
