Best Western Plus Victoria Inn & Suites

My family was traveling for one night. We had stayed here before with no issues. The a/c did not work in the first room we were assigned. The front desk quickly got us another room. The a/c did work however it did not cool the room too well. The outlets would push in when we plugging in our chargers. We all shared the two good ones. The wall light between the beds was pulled away from the wall. The beds were comfortable though. We missed breakfast because it ended at 9. It did say temporary hours. Overall our stay was okay.

My family enjoyed this hotel. We rented 2 rooms, both were plenty clean and comfortable with all of the usual amenities.
The front desk guy was efficient. The breakfast lady was attentive and friendly and the breakfast was good. There is a beautiful staircase in the lobby.

A few small fixable negatives - The staircase steps need to be vacuumed, it's obviously been awhile. The breakfast area ran out of orange juice and jelly, and then there was no more. The fancy expensive coffee-maker in the breakfast area broke down.so there was no coffee; the simple cheap coffee maker in my room worked great. Guys, lots of times simple and cheap is better.

DO NOT STAY HERE the room smelt horrible, the pull out couch didn't even come with pillows so we had to go to the front desk to get them, then the guy came up to our room and said he gave us the wrong pillows and he had to replace them, later I tried calling the front desk because I wanted to know the wifi password and it turns out the phone didn't even work there was a lot of noise and was hard to sleep, the worst part was breakfast was 6 am to 8 am and I woke up and breakfast was over we got ready and we went to the front desk and asked for late checkout and the lady/guy what every it was, took 5 minutes typing something on his computer even though he knew there was no late checkout, said the latest check out was 11: 00 definitely try to avoid this location

The room and bathroom were nice but there was a hint of mold in A C. I am very allergic and started to have issues and slept rest of the night wearing a mask.

Everyone was real helpful, the price per night was a little less than what I thought so that was great. I usually toss & turn trying to get comfortable in hotel rooms but this was perfect! I didn't even adjust the ac as it was perfect when I first walked in my room. Its a lil older hotel but with the courteous service, cleanliness, the comfort is what matters to me. Had alot of lighting & I could see my car from my room. Even made sure my car was locked from my room.window just in case I forgot. My car was close enough that my lovk.clicker worked from my room.

. This has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. For starters I booked and paid for a king suite and was given a double standard room. I over looked this and stayed because I could not get a refund. The night was horrible there was suspicious activity going on in and out of the rooms at all hours of the night. The first night I hardly slept because the partying outside our window at the pool was really loud. I called the front desk to see what could be done and the phone did not work. The showers are rusted. The shower head is completely rusted I was afraid my baby would get sick. The beds were dirty and soiled. I must say the only good thing about this hotel was the breakfast. My baby woke up covered jn The front staff is ran by power tripping individuals. My husband tried to pay an extra night because we wanted late check out (which was arranged the night before) and the he/she at the counter was so upset and bothered by this he started screaming at my husband with our 3 young children. My husband told him in a calm voice he had no reason to be raising his voice and that set him off. He called the cops to escort my husband and my children out. My son took video of all this so there is actually proof of the incident. The he/she made racist remarks. As to which he even admitted to being a racist. He also claimed to be the owner of the hotel when my husband tried to speak to his superior. We were escorted off of the premises by 2 police officers who were for the most part really nice. We had to shove all of our belongings in bags and shove everything into our vehicles. We were paying customers simply trying to get a late check out. We didn’t ask for a free night or even a free late check out. All we were simply trying to do was to pay the fee for an extra night. It was one of the most embarrassing moments in my entire life. I have never been kicked out of anything or anywhere and this individual belittled us and put us all in jeopardy. My children were crying because they thought the police officers were going to take us away. It truly was a horrible experience and no one has yet to reach out to us. Again we have video proof of all of this.

Very friendly and helpful staff but there was a lot of other issues such as a cloudy pool which the kids were disappointed due to looking forward to swimming in. Roaches in the room and hall, paper thin walls and ceiling, could hear every sound and walking above us, room door would not shut and lock properly Which was one of the main concerns, mold on the bathroom walls looks like there was a previous leak but breakfast was OK but I’ve had better at other best westerns. Was told when I arrived that my king suite was not available after all and put me in a double queen which was not a big problem this time but they still charged me for the suite and put me in a room that did not properly lock. Would not stay at this Best Western again unless I knew all the issues were taken care of.

We absolutely enjoyed our whole stay. It was so clean and the staff was so helpful and kind. We will definitely return.

This hotel sucks we work for halliburton.they don't change bed cheats.don't clean restroom.don't vacuum.

The room is spacious but the bed is a little soft. The carpet should be removed it is not hygienic

Decent hotel! I loved the big rooms with the lil living room area, which makes the room feel cozy. The breakfast is alright and they have friendly service all together. Will definitely like to come back soon.

Decent place although seems a bit dated. Bed was on the softer side. But all and all decent stay.

DO NOT stay here. The manager and maid staff are VERY rude and disrespectful.
We’re in town for work and working overnights. We came in at 6am and asked the lady working the counter if we could possibly get a late check out since we have to drive to San Antonio in the morning and checkout time was only 5 hours away.
At 11 am, even though we were told we could have a late check out time, noon, the cleaning lady let herself into my coworkers room to wake him and tell him to check out. I was called at 11: 15 and told to go check out.
I brought to the attention of the manager on duty that we were told we could have a late check out time but she said she didn’t care. It was 11 and time to check out so that the room could be cleaned.
The breakfast was over done and minimal, the place is filthy and the staff is the worst with customer service. Avoid this location if possible.

Nice staff! Rooms are being remodeled as are parts of the hotel. The pool was out of order for a week due to a maintenance issue. I'm sure it's fixed by now.

Never a good thing when the ENTIRE first floor is being renovated and you have no idea until you check in. Was awoken by the smooth sound of power tools and painting!

Despite having found a small cucrachita in the bathroom I give it 5 because from the entrance the staff is very friendly, it does smell like an old building but I know it is being remodeled that indicates that if you want to improve the stay the beds are super comfortable the room was very I clean the bathroom and it smells like cigarettes, but with an aromatic candle that I always carry on my trips, the problem is solved! I recommend it and for $100 the price wasn't bad at all.

With the exception of construction within the hotel and the pool being down for maintenance it was a good stay. Renovation in progress. I stayed in one of the renovated rooms which was nice. Breakfast included is a nice perk.

During my last morning of my two night stay, I was taking a shower and saw a small cockroach on the ceiling. The front desk attendant told me that they are doing remodeling and it probably came from one of the those rooms. All they could offer was $10 off. This place sucks!
