Best Western Sunday House Inn reviews
17 Stayed because of full breakfast for our kids. No breakfast was served on New Year's day. Talk to the front desk associate, she showed a don't care attitude and said somene should have to you no breakfast on holidays.
My wife said we paid for this service and we are loyal members and have been for many years.
The associate never apologized for the inconvenience. She said there was nothing she could do.
We are Best Western Members, a military family, and we paid for a service we didn't receive during our holiday stay.
In our personnel opinion do not stay here with your family. If you are expecting breakfast on a holiday and a positive customer service experience don't stay at this location.
We called Best Western Customer loyalty Department and filed a complaint after holding on for almost 45 minutes.
We will never never stay at this establishment ever again and possibly never Best Western.
Fyi. Rooms are old and outdated.
Took three different rooms before we got one that wasn't still dirty from the guests before us. Ac unit didn't work and the room was hot. Definitely an old hotel in need of a facelift
Dropped 1 star, as no microwaves in the rooms.
Otherwise very large clean room at a good price.
A bit dated, but more than adequate. WIFI worked flawlessly which is unusual for motels in this class. Rooms are very large compared to even some fancier hotels I've stayed in. They had one computer down in the front office which was slowing down check in. Computers are relatively cheap so they should not let this problem longer. Room interiors were pretty good with updated bathrooms. Outdoor stars and railing are in need of repairs. They didn't feel unsafe, but getting close. Otherwise, not a bad place to stay for the area.
Hotel is an older property and probably one of the cleanest hotels I've stayed at since covid happened. My room was huge, the a/c was very nice, and being a bus driver the parking was amazing.
It's an older Motel. But it is very quaint and the pool is private and partially shaded. The pool was dirty, but the management said that they are very understaffed currently. The rates are too high especially for how old the motel is.
Housekeeping and maintenance, are very friendly. Just a note that the pool is not handicapped accessible in any way and
I never got my points for staying at the hotel. Also we were told the elevators were not working and that if we stayed on the second floor we would get a discount. The reason why we went. We spoke to the gentleman and he completely lied to us.
Lovely courtyard with pool and large shade trees. The whole facility could use a face-lift; however, we will stay here again despite the older decor.
Nice full breakfast available. Fresh coffee.
Terrific front desk assist.
The room I was in was large and clean. Service was really good. Hot parts of breakfast were not good. Cold was okay. Location, price and rooms will be the reason I stay again. Also felt very safe.
Room was very spacious and clean. The hotel itself is super cute! The outside area with the pool was amazing. Staff was professional and courteous. Breakfast was good and I loved that it was served in a little restaurant out front.
For a 2 star hotel it was good enough but felt it was a little on the expensive side for what it is. It was clean enough and the breakfast was decent. The room, while it was listed as non-smoking, did smell of old smoke and mildew and left my clothes with a weird smell. I appreciated the fridge. Ice machines were not close to my room and I did not try the outdoor pool. Staff was friendly and check in was quick and easy.
Good maid service, clean rooms, good value. Noisy place though. Upstairs foot steps heard all night, as were revving motorcycles outside rooms late at night waking us up multiple times. Last time i stay there.
For the price this is a very good place to stay in Kerrville. Very large rooms.good beds.large bath room with big tub. Everything is clean.plenty of towels.all the usual things you find in a motel.
Plus a great cafe in the parking lot. Free breakfast buffet. I had an omelet as good as any I have ever eaten.individual cans of juice rather than an open pitcher sitting out. (In these scary days of infectious disease easily spread this was so very thoughtful of the people managing the buffet). Several custom blends of coffee and hot tea waiting to be brewed and finished to your taste and preferences. Donuts.rolls.cereals.milk in individual containers.oat meal and other hot cereals ready for the micro wave.just a very nice assortment of easy to fix items and eat for a quick breakfast before getting back on the road.
Even an ice machine in a convenient location that ACTUALLY worked. Lol. I didn't get to visit the pool area so I can't comment but I'm betting it's in good condition.
As you can see I'm impressed with the motel and would recommend it to folks who travel to Kerrville.
Only 2 stars for great shower pressure, spacious room & refrigerator but that’s it…. Bed way too soft & uncomfortable. Tv channel lineup doesn’t match any of the actual channels, the exhaust fan in bathroom doesn’t work & God forbid you have a heavy walker or heavy person, (there’s LOTS in Texas!) in the room upstairs & you will not be happy when you wake up.if you must stay here GET A ROOM UPSTAIRS!
I would have given 5 stars but they hit my account 2x instead of once for the cost. Then while refunding my money hit my account without asking for an additional $2 then for $18 I still have no idea why. Makes me wonder how many other they do that too. Anyway room's are clean and very spacious also not worth the $120.00 a night cost.
I stopped there years ago. Got in late at night without having reserved a room. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Room was very big and well maintained. The entire hotel was very tidy and clean. I cannot remember having stayed in any hotel anywhere near that good in that price segment.
We are trying g diff places to stay in Kerville. This is a clean place, feels safe, it’s old w it’s smells, old smoke, musty. I’d go back for a less expensive place.
