These guys did a great job painting the exterior of our home. Alex was super communicative throughout the whole process, and was priced competitively. They did the job quickly and thoroughly, and were quick to address what few touchups were needed afterwards.

Alex and his team were on time and took extra care during the prep phase. Their site representative spent quality time with me double-checking our color selection, and they communicated well through the whole process. We used Big Al's Painting to paint the entire interior of a home we purchased, including the baseboards, crown molding, doors & trim, kitchen cabinets, laundry room cabinets, walls & ceiling. They also painted 2 fireplaces that were large stone. They turned out better than we envisioned! The crew was extremely tedious and paid excellent attention to detail. They spent more than a day prepping the whole house with utmost professionalism. Our home looks like a whole new house and the quality of work is exceptional! We had just had new floors & granite installed, so it was important to us that everything was well-protected. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a painting contractor! They also taped & textured a small area of drywall where we moved some plumbing. The texture matched ours perfectly. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out - it looks absolutely beautiful!

I was given this company's name from a realtor. Alex was great! Once I reached out and explained what I needed, he gave me a ballpark quote. Then I asked him to come by and look at the house for the job. He did, we talked about replacing some boards, and painting the trim of the house. He even had a good idea for painting my chimney. He then quoted me less than the original ballpark quote which was great. He wasn't able to schedule me for a few weeks, but that's okay. He was always courteous when I checked in with him on the schedule. He finally got back and scheduled me. I made sure his team would have what they needed. I was at work while they painted, but when I came home, my house looked different. It looked better. The guys were finishing up, it was a two man crew. I checked with them, gave them some water and then inspected the house before they left. Alex checked in with me an hour later and I asked how I could pay. He sent me a link to pay through Paypal, which was fine for me. I paid and done. The work looks great. I had some rotted wood and the paint hadn't been done in 9 years. So I was very happy.

A great experience from start to finish! We were able to get a quote within 24 hours of requesting one for our interior paint and popcorn ceiling removal. All of the work was done within the time frame they estimated and looks amazing! Highly recommended for anyone looking for work done on their home.

Alex was easy to work with and provided a detailed quote for our interior paint job. His team did a great job and worked quickly. They were very responsive to address the minor items we thought needed a touch up after we inspected the work and without a thought said yes to an additional coat in 1 room. I would use them again.

We had our popcorn ceilings scraped, textured, primed and painted. We also had the trim painted throughout the house as well. It was a long messy job but the team did a phenomenal job. Even after the work was done we noticed a few minor areas that needed retouching and they fixed the issue immediately.

We read the reviews and had a few friends recommend Big Al’s. We used them for tape, bed, texture and paint. We signed a contract for a level 5 texture (1 to 5 - 5 being best) but after some uncertainty, we contacted two independent Sherwin Williams reps. Alex continued to mis-lead us and said it was a level 5, which is what we paid for. Both Sherwin Williams reps said the job was terrible and would rate it at a level 2-3, at best. The entire job was supposed to take 4 weeks, but still after 5 months the job was still incomplete. The owner balked on correcting the issues and blamed us. The owner kept giving excuses about having only 1 person on the job or not showing up at all. So after 5 months, we had to terminate our relationship bc of the misrepresentations Alex was giving us. I would run from this company as fast as possible. I would give it zero stars if I could.

Over the years I've hired a number of painting companies here in Dallas. Big Al's Painting has been the most professional of them all. I particularly appreciated this painting crew's attention to detail and emphasis on quality.

While the quote we received was great the quality of work when done was not. Communication was very difficult! Paint runs were left to dry on the walls. Paint was left on concrete out in front of our home.

Alex and his team painted the interior of our house - walls, ceilings, trim, shutters. The original estimate was very competitively priced; Alex’s paint consultant did a great job helping us with colors and within a week of receiving an estimate, Alex’s team started work. They were punctual, courteous and helped with all furniture moving. We added scope (more rooms, accent walls, drywall repair) and Alex made sure it was taken care of effortlessly. Alex and I communicated most days, and I knew the status of the project at any given time. Final walkthrough was simple as the quality of work was great throughout the project.
