Went into the company to see what type of options they had available since nobody was answering the phone when I had called.
You know how they say that the person at the front desk is basically the face of the company? Rudest woman I’ve ever encountered. She acted as if I should know what type of options they offered.
I’m new in town and was told this was the best company for wifi. Maybe it’s my professionalism, but this woman showed me what type of customer service I’ll receive. Or rather, won’t receive.

I have a Fiber Optic line with BBT. Called BBT to report a problem. Tech troubleshot a bit and said the internet port has a problem and informed me they would have to send a tech out to look at it the next day. I get a call a few mins later and my caller ID lists the number as Potential SPAM and the person on the other end starts asking me questions without even identifying themselves. After verifying that I am talking to BBT, I am asked if I still need a tech to come look at my problem. Of course I do, I was already told that was going to happen? BBT was supposed to call me when in town the next day.instead they called my girlfriend who works out of town and told her they were on their way. I was home but never heard from anyone. Now it's Friday, my internet is still having problems and no tech available till Monday. Poor handling of the situation if you ask me.

Big Bend Telephone Co.is located in Alpine, Tx. The have a small equipment building in Sheffield they maintained and use when issues arise. They are pretty quick to respond to service calls.

Awesome experience. You actually talk to down to earth people who treat you like a valued customer and not a number.

$75 every time the internet goes out to fix it And it goes out every time the wind blows. Paying for a service I can barely use
