I absolutely LOVE this moving company. After getting severely ripped off by another mover, I found Big Tex. I am now a returning customer and refer as many people I can to this company. Jorge and Gabriel handled my most recent move. They were astoundingly organized, took great care with my items, explained the entire process in detail before starting, and were swift, efficient, and very friendly. In the past it has been difficult to find a truly trustworthy moving company. Moving forward, I will only be using Big Tex.

I had to come back to this review to change my initial feelings about it. I can honestly say, this was the worst moving experience I have ever encountered. They helped my family and I move into our new house. Throughout the process, without us being aware, while we were focusing on directing them where things needed to go, having casual conversations, they stole our computer and computer parts that we had packed in boxes and who knows what else. Before we left the old house they had said a few of the movers would follow in their own *personal car because there wasn’t enough room in the moving truck for all of them, and follow the moving truck to the destination of the new house. We realized a week or so later unpacking, what I thought was innocent and kinda weird was probably where they squirreled things away in their other car. They come off really friendly and professional but don’t let these guys fool you, they are professional scammers! I’ll never be hiring movers again.

This was my second move with this company. We hired them to move our office in Aug 2020 and they did such a great job that I wanted them to move our apartment this past weekend. I could not have asked for a better move! Fast, efficient, and a great price! Great customer service too, from Chase, the guy I talked to on the phone, to Gabriel, Darius, and Jorge who were a terrific moving team. They kept right on working until the job was over and done and with smiles and terrific attitudes the whole time. Gabriel knew all the tricks of the trade to get our furniture safely moved to it's new location. No cost hikes for mileage or extra surprises. What they quoted is what I paid. In fact, Chase gave me a discount for a slight scheduling mishap. Not hoping to move again soon, but if I do, I will be calling Big Tex again!

Gabriel, and Lucas were great they were efficient, fast, professional and took great care with my things. The entire experience was on point from the start even at the initial quote. Chase was professional, and polite and they called regarding ETA changes ahead of time when they were not able to provide a 3rd guy. They were reachable and returned calls. They never stopped moving. For example prior I thought I'd move some things myself to save time. But that was a mistake they were so quick I couldnt pack quick enough to catch up with them. LOL They showed me they were true professionals and I honestly just needed to get out the way and let them "do what they do"! In addition I appreciated that Gabriel acknowledged he may have sense I wasn't completely prepared/stressed. Gabriel stopped to tell me they were there for me and they both just overall considerate during the entire thing. Thank you Guys may God Bless you and your company!

The Most AMAZING + PROFESSIONAL company Ever! The Gentleman who scheduled the appointment was pleasant and worked with my last minute request for moving date. Anthony & Derrick were assigned to move me from a upstairs unit to a downstairs unit & what a BLESSING they were! It was extremely hot outside (100+) & parking was tough … they even offered to relocate a basketball goal from my new neighbors yard to help make the move easier + more efficient. I cannot say enough Great Things. These two gentlemen were kind, efficient, careful & wrapped every single piece I owned. Took great care of all fragile & religious pieces. They even unhooked my washer and dryer & moved that with ease. Once arriving to my new place they hooked both appliances back up. I had a couple of large pieces I wanted placed in specific areas & they kindly did that as well. I wish I had more cash on me the day of move for gratuity because I felt Derrick & Anthony both went above and beyond! Thanks Again to the Whole Team @ Big Tex Move

Big Tex came in clutch when our other moving company ghosted us. Gabriel and Anthony came out first thing the next morning. They were extremely pleasant, didn’t waste any extra time, and they were very careful with our stuff. We were really impressed by their service.

I had Kevin and Christian working my move with and they did an awesome job. 3rd floor apartment to a 3rd floor apartment and they worked quickly and efficiently to get me moved timely. Really appreciate all the hard work!

The process of booking my local move through Big Tex Moving was easy and straightforward because of their online calendar. The movers got the job done in under 2 hours - even in the 100 degree weather. Anthony, Kevin, and Lucas were professional, hard working, respectful, and kind. They ensured that my items were protected and securely delivered. Additionally, they were good about asking me where I'd like my items to be placed, which hasn't always been the case with other moving companies.

Big Tex moving saved after the previous company I hired canceled on me without even letting me know the day I was supposed to be moved out of my apartment. Kevin and Lucas saved my butt, they came on short notice and analyzed how long would take to move everything from my apartment complex. I lived on the 3rd floor with no elevator so they had to use the stairs only but they work so diligently and quick even in this heat (104 degrees). They got everything broken down, wrapped, and loaded into the truck with no issue or complaints. The respect they had for my stuff was easily shown. They were really awesome guys too, so much respect for them. If you guys are looking for dedicated, no nonsense, hard workers, I really recommend Big Tex moving, especially Kevin and Lucas.
