Bill Miller Bar-B-Q, Austin TX

This bill miller used to be on top of its game and lately it hasn't been. I go literally every day if it's not for breakfast tacos its for evening meals after work. I always call to place my orders and lately its been hard getting someone to answer.

This place like many others realize that there isn't accountability any longer. When dining in quality is more likely. When opened at home many surprises can exist and Bill Miller never gets to hear about the problems. It's a no brainer for businesses. Come on people stop going and they are then forced to improve or shut down.

Drive through is usually packed around meal times but they have fast and friendly service inside and out. The breakfast taco box makes it easy to grab for a group. Food is all around good.

Rude and inconsiderate!
There was a delivery truck outside honking by the drive thru speaker and I couldn’t hear what the attendant was saying. So I repeated my order to confirm. The young lady snapped at me and said, yeah, yeah we got it! Pull forward!
This is the second time this has happened. Don’t know if it’s the same person but most everyone else is nice and courteous. Actually talk to you like a person.

Meat was dry
Fries tasted like they where from day before
I will stick to Dickies and Spring Creek BBQ
in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. I was in Austin doing some work stopped in for lunch.

This place was horrible. I give a 1 start cause I have to so it can go to the lost boy at the front counter. He was new, didn't know any answers to any questions and NO ONE out of 6 employees would stop and help him. It was not busy. 3 people is all they had. It was a reck and the food was horrible, dry and nasty. I won't eat Bill Millers again.

I had foot surgery this morning and was starving when I was released. I was craving Bill Miller BBQ and they did not disappoint! I had an egg and sausage breakfast taco and an egg and brisket breakfast taco.so delicious!

I have only had breakfast tacos. My first time and I was not a fan. I am sure the BBQ is good and I still want to try that but maybe I am top Mexican for th3 tacos lol. The service was good when I order. The young man was training someone and they were both patient and nice. The lady in the window was a little sparky. I order a large Pepsi and she acted like I was lying. I had to showy receipt although she is the one that forgot to give me my drink. I will be back to try the BBQ though.

Long line for take out. Not enough employees. My sandwich was good but not worth the money. Didn't get napkins. Young lady apologized for the delay. She was nice.

They say the lobby won't open till next year. I went there everyday for the last few months. I don't do drive thru so no more bill miller's till they open again.

Excellent meal and courteous service. They have pie and the lemon meringue was outstanding. My friend got pecan and said it was excellent too!

We go to this location quite a bit with our kids and today was not a good day all my kids got liquid water down gravy with their tenders and they were all unhappy. Come on now I know when the workers put the water gravy in the bowl they had to have realized that was just awful to give to customers.

I really love their chicken, and the brisket tacos. The chicken fried steak is worth a try.also try the salad with smoked turkey on top.the pies taste like homemade. Enjoy. P. S try the tea.

I paid full price for my meal and didn't receive all my meal. Plus I asked the lady at the window if she gave me pickles and onions she said yes I didn't. Also they gave me dry brisket. I will not be back

My first visit to a Bill Miller Bar-B-Q location in Austin. I had a three piece chicken combo with fries and sides of pinto beans and a link of sausage. The chicken was hot and crisp, juices ran out of it and it was definitely not greasy, the flavor was very good. The sausage was well cooked but also not greasy, a pleasure to my taste buds and my stomach. The pinto beans were very well balanced in flavor, a perfect complement to the rest of the meal. The fries were soggy, but to be fair I have to say that I was so busy enjoying the rest of the meal that they sat under the chicken for a good 10 minutes, maybe longer, before I ever tried one. Still tasty, great dipped in the gravy. I will have to try some other locations.

The food was good. They delivered to our vehicle fresh. The food tasted even better the next day. The bean and cheese tacos were great. The carnage asada was great and the poo boy sandwiches were great.

This place is a complete waste of time, DO NOT ORDER THROUGH A DELIVERY SERVICE! My estimated time was 7: 10pm, that was changed to 7: 30pm, then changed to 7: 40pm, then canceled with no explanation! The driver was on time to pick it up, it was the restaurant that canceled! This place is a joke, I should have read the negative reviews before I wasted my time, its an ongoing issue with this place!

So their drive-thru is always packed, like doen the block, so I decided to get off. The people in there do not even want to take your order. They only point at the self-ordering machine, which you have a hard time seeing because of the glare from the sun. Then I waited about 15minutes for a pint of green beans. Overall their customer service is not good.

Should have known something was up when we arrived. Manager was arguing with a customer, then we got the wrong food. We notified them but didn't send out food back because of the Managers attitude.

Waited over twenty minutes for one plate that was ordered long before I showed up to the restaurant. Whenever I would ask the status of the order I was told to sit down and be patient. Until the last time when they realized they had completely been skipping and ignoring my order. Mistakes happen, but when you deliberately are dismissing shutting out a customers concerns, you have poor management and staff.
