Mashed potatoes cold and hard.no gravy.peculuar taste to meatliaf.very salty.chef salad was ok.

Great “comfort” food especially on a dreary day like today. Service was outstanding -attentive, accurate order.

Went craving chicken fried steak and it was some of the most tender I have ever eaten. Billy Genes is our go-to when entertaining folks "from the big city"!

Please accept this as constructive criticism, not complaining. I have eaten with you for the better part of 20 years. The meatloaf I took home yesterday was utterly inedible. I even tried to spruce it up and eat on a sandwich. It tasted stale and frozen. Please relate to your cook (s) so that I can get your delicious meatloaf again. Very Sincerely yours, Gary D. Fantastic food with a look large diverse menu. My Ruben sandwich was awesome (and I'm accustomed to the ones from wurstfest) everyone's food was awesome! We all saved room for dessert, having one of almost every cobbler and pie. So good! Can't wait to return on my next visit to Kerrville!

Stopped in here by chance, boy did we luck out. Diverse menu full of delishious items! Everyone in our group ordered different things and everyone loved their food! Saw the dessert menu so we did our best to save room! I had the Ruben sandwich w fries, it tasted straight from wurstfest (delishious), wife had a sirloin steak w baked potato n side salad, son had peppersteak w whipped potatoes and fried okra, Daughter in law had chicken fried chicken w baked potato n fried okra. Everything was delishious and tasted like it was all made from scratch. We all got dessert, blackberry cobbler, apple cobbler, chocolate pie and cherry cobbler. Ohhhh man did we walk out of there fat full and happy. The view of the river outside was nice, we got a window seat as no outdoor seating was available at the moment. Really nice place, nice staff. We will definitely be back everytime we're in town!

We love Billy Gene's. Have been going there for years. Food is good and the prices are reasonable.

Alma sat us down as quickly as possible and was absolutely amazing with making sure her staff got us our meals and appetizers.

Showed up on a pretty busy Sunday. The wait wasn't too bad but I'd definitely call next time for reservations. The food was great, down home, country food. One of the best country fried steak I've ever had!

This was an awesome location we found. Right on the water front, not a bad table in the whole place. Service was excellent, food was delicious & a great value.

Server Maryann was good. Nice facility overlooks the river. Food bland blah. Not my cup of tea.

Nice American food restaurant. Next to the river. It was too crowded for my taste but it had a good view. The waiter was very helpful with the food choices. The prices are very reasonable.

Such a fantastic place to eat. Great food, great service. Loved everything about it! And that multi-layered chocolate cake that looks like it's from heaven? It is. It is from heaven! Yummmm

Had a wonderful meal with friends. Everyone is very nice. The service is excellent. Food was brought to the table, all was correct. Great experience.

Excellent food, service, portions, and prices. The frozen sangria was a fun treat and the ribeye was so perfectly cooked and seasoned I was in heaven. We played a game of ‘guess the bill’ in the parking lot after the meal and most guesses were about double what we paid. I wish this restaurant could be picked up and dropped where I’m from because my whole family left happy as clams without a criticism to think of. A+

Absolutely top notch. Food was great. Awesome variety. Staff is so friendly you ask yourself "whats going on"? This is a must visit for us when we are near Kerrville. Great back deck overlooking the river. Again, staff is the best ive seen anywhere.

Short trip off I10. Sunday lunch time. Extended wait. You sign in and wait to be called. Started off with several groups being called that arrived after us. Green beans are on the bland side. Club sandwich was great. Add the ham, nice touch. Great home made onion rings. Home made rolls were good. Very popular place. We would stop by again.
