This place has become such a joke it’s ridiculous! They allow for way to many appointments and are not staffed to handle even half of it. Then you have management walking around laughing and their hands in there pockets. Do you job manage and pick up the slack and open a section yourself. I’ve put up with this for over 4 years! When I first started I could be in and out within an hour! Now you wait two hours before getting to a machine, wait another hour to get stuck, then you get to donate. It’s wild that it’s an almost 4 hour process now! Short staff an excuse? Try taking better care of your employees and maybe they would stick around and care about their job. Things need to change at the top before they can change at the donor level. I know I’m going to get the same response on here saying they are sorry and would like to hear more. Where do those responses go? ! Straight to the junk folder! Biolife does not listen to its patients nor care about them.

8am-11am Your looking at a 2-3 hour wait to get hooked up before you even donate. They allow for maximum appointment slots with approximately a quarter of the actual seats to be occupied leading to ridiculous wait times. It’s a failing on the management and a lack of respect for their donors time. The staff is friendly and do their best but it’s a case of greed on the corporate side vs donor care.

Great people inside. But the lines are way to long. This is my 4th BioLife to donate at and the poorest run. The last 10 times I’ve been here at 620 am the wait just to get to the sticking station is 45 min minimum. Then you have to wait for a bed for another 20-30. They only have 1 person doing the sticking station. Most people are pretty frustrated. Finally had to leave a review.

Won't let me donate because I live in a RV park. But my boyfriend was able to do it just fine and now won't let either of us.

Friendly staff. Clean environment
Only issue is in the busy days why are all stations not open and why are there not more nurses, I count 6/7 for 30 stations. The line is totally full and so is there 2nd waiting area

The wait is terribly long they need to figure it out. If I have an appointment at 840 I should get in and be donating plasma by 9

Have tried to donate here they would not accept my DL and SS because of maiden name on DL, even though I had old SS card with maiden name on it. Told me I had to have a marriage liscence and/or divorce decree in order to donate. Wont be back to Burleson to donate.

They require an appointment but do not staff anywhere near accordingly. Expect minimum of 2+ hours to donate. Worst center i have been to as far as time management and efficiency.

So today is Thursday, my appt was at 8: 15 am didn’t leave till literally 12 pm waited in the long line forever. Just to get $20, I was making my appt for Saturday to get my $100 and says “NO SLOTS” tried Sunday again “NO SLOTS” I feel cheated out my time and money I wouldn’t have wasted my morning and afternoon if it was for $20. I put more money in my truck for gas to get there then I even recieved. Not to mention there was only ONE person checking vitals, and only about 10 beds open and like 40 people in line. I have donated in past and wasn’t as long of wait. It was ridiculously time consuming and I only did it so I can receive my full payment but I won’t even be able to receive that due to no appointments till Monday which I will have to restart to $20 again. And was even a hassle to get this appointment last minute. Really understaffed, unorganized, & unacceptable.

Expect long wait times. Worst it has ever taken me is 3.5 hours, which was a Sunday. I had a 8: 20 appointment and wasn't even in a bed by 10am this morning so I had to leave so I could be at work on time, which I wasn't expecting on a Wednesday. Donors should have their time valued - more than an hour wait to even reach a bed where it will take another hour to donate is a little excessive to me. If there is not enough staff to support, then appointment slots need to be cut back, and promotions should be given longer expiration periods.

The girls that work the beds and check in deserve 5 stars. They do the best they can to keep things fair and keep the line moving. Which is the only reason I am giving 3 stars.

Been donating here for a few years now and everything is always good just recently the staff has not been doing a good job about having people respect social disitancing even.

I came to this location from the Arlington one, thinking I’d have a better experience, but am still left disappointed. I’d like to note that the staff here is much more friendly and the wait hasn’t been AS long as Arlington, but I have had other issues. My last donation on 10/1, my blood was taken from one arm and then tried to be returned in the other arm, causing a bump and severe bruising for over a week, they’re still healing. The bruising caused them to defer me and I wasn’t able to donate for about a week and a half. My last couple of donations, including one before the bruising, they also couldn’t stick my vein. They try in both arms and can’t get it and then send me home. I talked to a manager today because my app wouldn’t allow me to schedule future appointments, and they said it was to give my veins a break. I understand looking out for the donors health, but the bruising caused at one of my donations and now the fact that they can’t stick my vein, has left me unable to complete my promotion. The manager said he is unable to extend my promotion, but the nurses told me it’s been done at other locations. I appreciate them looking out for my health, honestly, but I’m just disappointed that now I’m out of that opportunity to finish out my promotion, when it was not my fault. Don’t know if this process is worth trying again.

Very bad experience at Biolife burleson. Was told the staff needed no experience to get hired which lead to me getting the worst hematoma of my life. Leaving my arm badly bruised and unable to use with out pain for 3 weeks…. This also delayed my “promotion” to the date of of it ending so I didn’t receive all my benefits. Very stressful, don’t recommend.

I’ve been donating here for almost 3 years this is the absolute WORST it has ever been. I use to enjoy donating. Lately there’s a 2 hour wait to even get to a machine, then another hour to donate. I simply don’t understand why they have always operated only half of the centers machines, and then the last 2 times I’ve gone in only HALF of those even were even being used, roughly 18 chairs in use, with more than 30 donors waiting, it’s absurd. When I have asked about these issues, I’m told that “it’s unexpected”. They either need to hire more staff or reduce the number of available appointments on their scheduling app.

Soylent green in there. Way to many people in there at one time. Some of the staff were uncaring robots. No thanks. It's stressful enough donating. Seems the reviews are pretty consistent with this. Good luck owner.
