Birds Barbershop reviews
18It was awesome. I can't remember the name of my stylist but she was awesome, professional, clean, and pretty fast. My second time there and still satisfied.
Very nice and barbers always have a conversation. Inside decorating are sick and there is a cool painting in the parking lot
Been awhile for me due to things happening in the world.wanted to go to a highly recommended place.although more expensive def worth it
Frank is awesome, showed him a pic of the pixie cut I wanted and he executed it perfectly. Really friendly customer service, will definitely be back!
I’ve been satisfied with every cut I’ve gotten here. I never request a specific hairstylist so they obviously hire good people. They offer you a beer or sparkling water while you wait and they have cold brew on tap plus some free old school video games.
I like how they are able to get you in quickly for a haircut. I guess I was disappointed that I didn't get shampooed. Maybe it's because I love the feeling of the shampoo? There's just something about a scalp massage.anyway, my stylist was nice and did a good job cutting the hair.
Best haircuts in town, plus they’ll give you a beer when you go in! I’ve been going here ever since I moved here 18 months ago. I don’t know any jargon regarding cosmetology, but they always get my cut perfect. They’re absolute artists, and I’m treated like family every time I come in. I always look forward to my next visit! Just make sure to call and make an appointment first!
Reminds me of Floyd's 99 in Chicago
Moderate price and knowledge barbers, at least Eva definitely knows what she's doing
Sparkling water and back of neck shave included.
Highly recommend making an appointment since it gets pretty busy.
Short cut is $30 and they do accept credit cards
Love this place! Always friendly, always clean, and always a great cut. Plus they offer beer in the waiting area!
I have to say this is the worst service I have received. I am a tourist from another country currently traveling in Austin. Coming from another country and traveling and just wanted to get a very unpleasant experience as a tourist, it was because of my accent that it was a bit racist I must mention! Overall I want to warn other tourists. I also have to say that only the manager can act like this and not all the local workers
Best barbershop in town. The design is quirky- with old arcade games and free beer. Have had my hair cut by a few different folks and they’ve all been great.
Receptionist was rude and unprofessional. Barber was great. My $30 tip was more to send the message of "think twice before you turn away a good customer", but also because the barber was talented.
Been going to this location of Bird's Barbershop for a few years now. Everyone is always super friendly and laid back. And if you're like me, you have a deep existential dread of 'buyer's remorse' after getting a haircut. But with Bird's, I can honestly say that has never been the case.:)
Front desk lady with purple hair, was extremely rude. Whole place smells like urine. Will never go back.
I guess they don't recruit folks with less than 15 tattoos. Good cuts. And they give a can of beer from the house too
Been here twice and tried to go a third but the customer service is horrendous. Out of 3 times I set an appointment they either had to move the appointment or cancel twice. I will not be returning to Birds as they can't handle their business professionally.
Usually pretty good. Sometimes there’s a bit of a wait and some stylists are better than others. I’ve found that it helps to just be super clear with the stylist before they bring out the scissors.
Even if it isn’t perfect, you can go back for up to a week later and they’ll fix it for ya. I usually get a blunt cut and sometimes it’s hard to tell if it’s all even. There have been a few times where I woke up the next day and thought it was just a little off so I popped back to birds and they fixed it right away.
If you have long hair, think twice before going here. I’ve had great experiences at another Bird’s before. But I made an appointment at this one for a wash/cut/dry/style. I wanted to leave the place with my hair looking good.
The stylist informed me she ONLY does dry cuts, so there goes my wash, blowdry and style. Then she says I shouldn’t get layers and just trims my hair and says she’s done. I asked her to go back and add some layers. She did but they are awkward and when I mentioned that it looks awkward, she only offered to spray my hair with more water (?) I went home and played with it and can’t make it look good. I have had layers before and they looked fine. Now I’m going to have to pay 100+ to go to a real salon and get it fixed. I’m livid. Don’t make my mistake. Go somewhere else.
