Augustine and Jordyn were very accommodating when I had an issue and the place is usually quiet. Love that it's near some nice places to eat.

I have only been here for a few months and I have to say everyone in the office has been so helpful and always have a happy greeting. My apartment was perfect when I moved in. Every time I the maintenance outside they are doing an amazing job at keeping the property nice and clean. I would recommend these apartment 100%.

This is a BEAUTIFUL community! Everything is nice and clean. People in the office are amazing and even the maintenance guys are helpful!

The combination of team and location at Birwood Heights makes this a top place to live. The office staff run a good ship and the maintenance guys get to the issues in reasonable time.

I lived there for 13 months in building 10. The front office manager (Jordyn) helped resolve a billing issue I had. The location is perfect and easy access to surrounding amenities. The property, itself, is quiet and didn't really have any excessive noise. The dog owners could be more courteous and pick up after themselves but that seems to be a problem at every apartment I've lived in. Safe yourself a headache and let Jordyn help manage your move in and move out.

Excellent staff all around, great communication updates with things happening with the community. Belinda, Jordyn and Agustin make you feel like a friend and not just another resident. They care about customer service and satisfaction! Grounds are well kept and work order turn around is incredible, I’ve lived in several apartments and maintenance and office here by far have been the most attentive and fast. Also it’s a great location, has incredible views and I love the “hilltop” vibes Birwood gives. Check this place out! And thank you team!

If zero was an option,
I've Lived at Birwood heights for almost 2.5 years, Ive had my truck broken into twice, the response from the front office is that surveillance cameras don't work so they couldn't help (cameras at the gate are literally pointed at the ground) and there are no cameras looking over the parking lots. They only seemed somewhat interested once I filled a police report. Theft is a huge problem here and I ended up hanging a Ring camera above my carport. But thats expected when the PRIVACY gates are left open for days on end because the property is slow to fix the broken gates/Cameras. If someone reads this and still moves in, buy a camera for your front door and for your car.

Just read all the negative comments and see how many likes each one has. Enough said but still, heres my rant about this "luxury Apartment".

The First week I moved into Birwood I had my truck towed, even though I had a parking pass and the office took no responsibility. Costing me an unexpected $400 to get my truck out of the lot. Then and realized that if you're not parked in a car spot by 8pm you might have to park at the Restaurant next door and risk getting broken into or risk parking in fire lanes or Handicap spots.

Ive had bug infestations in my apartment to which I had to take my own actions because management took over two weeks to respond to my maintenance request.

Good luck reaching the office, you have to leave a message and hope that the office will call you back. The front Office only cares about future residents and new residents. Example: I walk into the gym or Amazon hub and the Eugene at the front desk wont even look up let alone say hello. Most apartments are like that but this one takes the cake.

Another issue I had were the walls are paper thin, you can hear your neighbors watching TV, talking, cooking.having sex. You name it, you can hear it. Another thing about the units, you'll have at least 4 switches and 2 outlets that don't work.

This might be a small complaint but when I asked if the Property management could put a ceiling fan in my apartment they told me it would add an extra charge to my monthly rent and that I would have to purchase the fan. A "luxury Flat" with no living room fan or light? And then the landscaping. I pay over $1500 a month (one of the "cheaper" units) and it looks like a war-zone outside my unit. Vapes in the mulch, charging cables left in the flower beds, trash nestled in and around water drains. Exposed irrigation lines and not to mention they didn't replace any landscaping after the freeze. So every other plant is dead/dug up.

The property itself has great potential with lots of upsides. Large areas for walking pets, near Eisenhower park, great neighborhoods behind the apartments to go on a run and multiple restaurants. But the management has dropped the ball too many times to consider a 3rd year at this place. The only helpful person in the front office has been Jordan, you can tell she does the best she can with the limited power the owners give her. But that being said management has little to no power over any situations that come about.

Not to mention the raise in rent when 1604 has been under construction the last 3 years and will continue to be for the next 3 years. They sent me a renewal for 12 months at base $1535 when the exact same unit is selling for base $1222 on their website for new residents.

In my personal opinion this apartment is way to expensive and management has little to no authority to do anything. Massive disconnect with the owners/management and the residents.

If I could give a negative star, I would. Roach infestation causing me to move out after just 5 months. They still asked that I get the carpets cleaned before I leave. I told the management about the roaches within 48hrs of moving in and have had my apt fumigated 3 times now. I would never recommend this place.

I recently moved from Austin, Texas to San Antonio, Texas. I instantly liked the clean and modern look of Birwood Heights Apartments. I received a tour from Jordyn and I was sold! All of the management and staff are friendly, helpful and caring! Everyone here is the sweetest. They welcomed me to this city and made me feel right at home. Moving here was the best decision ever!

Staff is amazing! Everyone walks around with a smile making everyone feel welcomed. Maintenance is fast always willing to go the extra mile to get the problem resolved and you can't forget the wonderful ladies working in the office keeping customer service as a priority and making Birwood Heights the wonderful place it is! I love it here!

Nothing but good things to say about Birwood Heights and the staff that runs it so well. I've only been here for a few months, but I absolutely love it! Belinda has been beyond amazing in her helpulness and resoursefulness. She has gone above and beyond for me. Her and her staff have been incredible. Maintenance is on top of any issues you may run into. You can't go wrong renting here.)

I really love the look of this place! I got a tour and loved all of the amenities and how well kept up it is. Office staff was super nice and answered every question I had without hesitation.

Please do not lease an apartment at Birwood Heights if you have a car and need parking. They do not guarantee parking. There have been several times when I could not find a parking spot and when I complained, they referred me to the lease contract, which clearly says that they do not guarantee parking.
