Biryani Pot, San Antonio TX

I frequent the quite often at least 10 times the last 6 months and I have not had a single issue with the food once. It’s always so flavorful, and spices are just 10/10 every time. They are the first Indian restaurant I’ve ever tried since moving to San Antonio, and i never go to another. Food is DELICIOUS. Some of my favorites are the chicken 65, the chicken samosa, chicken tikka masala, and the garlic butter naan.

We had 3 goat biryanis for take out. Biryani is below average and the salan and raita are just water and a little salt. Pastries n chat and Madurai mes are way better than this restaurant.

We had Hyderabad biryani, lassi and chicken 65. All tasted very yummy. Price was very reasonable. Parking space was easily available. Sitting space is small, people usually prefer delivery option from this restaurant. Staffs were very sweet and humble. Definitely gonna be back again and again.

I went to pick up my food and I had paid online with my credit card. When I went in they told me I had to give confirmation
And when I did that wasn’t enough. They then asked to see my Id which I’m not comfortable showing. They aren’t the police and don’t have any right to ask for my id especially for some food. On top of that I was being treated with complete disrespect from management and staff. As if I was a criminal for picking up the food I paid for with my hard earned money! I’ve never been treated so disrespectfully and unprofessionally while buying anything much less some overpriced food. I wouldn’t even have cared if they had just been kind and asked politely. Finally after getting home super late and eating my food the naan bread was tough and extremely chewy. I couldn’t even eat it I had to throw it away. Not to mention every time I go I never get service and when I do this happens. (I highly recommend that you spend your time and money somewhere else and avoid this unprofessional establishment.) I will not be returning here again!

All these Indian restaurants one visits in US dumps tons of masala in ounce of basmati rice.this restaurant is no exception to it.

Food was awesome but service was extremely lacking. The restaurant was packed with delivery drivers and it impacted our experience. The only interaction we had with our server was to take our order and give us our food- we didn't get our appetizer or any refills on our drinks. We would have loved to take our food to go but eventually ended up just paying (at the front) and leaving since we were not getting helped. Person who checked us out was able to take our appetizer off since we did not receive it, thanks!

I ordered vegetable biryani and gobi manchurian. I called ahead to place my order and was told by the server that it would be ready in ten minutes. Thirty minutes later, an order came out but the items in the order were completely wrong—the order included meat-based items (I am a strict vegetarian). Thankfully, they quickly remade the order. The food may be good, but the initial service was disappointing.

Amazing food. This place was crowded for Memorial Day weekend but found quality was extremely good.

I will start with the review of paneer butter masala which was indeed amazing! Paneer biryani was good but little spicy. Double ka meetha was not worth trying as it was giving oil taste. Mango lassi was also average.

I requested not to put the colored fruties in custard/fruit salad but the employee/manager says many customers like it that way. I wonder who doesn’t know what actual fruit salad is…

Good spot if you want to taste some authentic South Indian cuisines. Quality hasn’t been consistent but over a solid four star!

3 stars for food. There was a guy there we asked him about one of the dishes in the menu and he wasn’t very nice about it. He was oddly weird idk how to explain it. Idk I might just get take out so I don’t have to see that guy again. But their was an other guy he was very sweet he even gave us chai for free.

You will fall in love with their weekends specials. Especially on Friday’s, you have to try their signature dish - Vijaywada biryani. It is a feast for your taste buds for sure. I enjoy biryani’s here, they are amazing. Their appetizers are amazing too. I would give 5 star rating for their service, food quality n quantity and food taste.

Good Indian cuisine and Never disappointing, minimum guaranteed tasted food joint in San Antonio.

Eat here if you want to try the world’s most cost effective Chicken Tikka Masala. My order had just enough Kashmiri chili powder to underwhelm even the most outspoken “mayonnaise is a bit spicy” of enthusiasts; The sauce was alright otherwise, although it could really use more chicken and less chicken sized tomato chunks. Overall, I believe the customer service and the humorous Chinese fried rice takeout box used for the white rice is enough to earn this business a 3/5 for this dish.
