Bishops Cuts/Color, Austin TX

I went to Bishops for a hairstyle change and Gabby went above and beyond! She listened to what I wanted and gave me some recommendations. She did an amazing job! I got curtain bangs for the first time and I’m glad I did. Thanks Gabby!

I've lived in Austin for 6 years, and Gabby is first person to truly understand and fully utilize my hair to its fullest potential. Before coming to Bishops, I would settle for a basic $20-$30 haircut. Now, for just $10 more, I have a guaranteed hair stylist that I can trust and rely on. No more just "hoping for best. "

I had a great experience with haircut and coloring. Carlos did a great job transforming my hair and I am super happy with the result. I would 100% recommended their services.

It was my first time there and everyone was friendly. My stylist was Carlos and he did a fantastic job. I had asked for a wolf cut and he informed me about the cut also giving great advice for the length. All-in-all he did an amazing job on giving my hair volume. Will go back again for another trim.

I cannot recommend this place enough. I am a musician with long hair and I’m very precious about my hair. I hadn’t gotten a cut in over a year, which made me nervous (compounded by the fact that I’ve seen the same person for my hair for the past 6 years).

I felt immediately welcome upon coming into Bishops; like an instant familiarity with the people working there. Aaron was extremely gentle with my hair and gave me exactly what I was looking for. Aaron kept it long and made it look better than it has in a very long time. I will definitely be seeing him again in a few months. So appreciative of y’all!

Second time coming to Bishops and neither time has disappointed! Gabby was my hair stylist. I asked her for a very natural balayage and she did such an incredible job! My sister was absolutely in awe of Gabby’s work when I showed it to her (as was I). Gaby also made sure I was comfortable and hydrated the whole time I was there. Such an amazing experience, I could not be any happier with how my hair turned out. Thank you Gaby!

My fiancé and I had some free time and we decided to both get haircuts for our upcoming wedding. We came to Bishops as walk-ins and were attended to right away. Aaron did such an amazing job on BOTH of our cuts! He has more than 30 years of experience cutting hair and you could definitely tell (plus he’s super friendly!) We are so happy we decided to come in and we will definitely be back.

Really Disappointed with my haircut. Very unprofessional.

I did call and inform that I was going to be late by 15 minutes and happened to be 20 minutes late because of the storm. I was notified that it would be okay! The hair stylist just rushed through my haircut. All I have to say is either do a proper job or don’t touch my hair at all.

We are all professionals, and if we one gets late please move or cancel the appointment. There is no reason to rush through a haircut and finish it in 5 minutes. I’d understand and accept a cancellation.

Cause hair takes time to grow back, I got meetings to attend and work to go to. Can’t go looking hideous.

Very Disappointed with this place. I informed the stylist that I have a weak scalp and if she did not have the time to accommodate and groom it, cancel to appointment.

And in terms of skills, the stylist clearly didn’t know what she was doing. Totally random, such an amateur lol. I have patches of hair which is not cut in random places on my head. Clearly not worth the price. Not even worth a 1 star review. I don’t even know why I was charged so much for a 5 minute haircut.

Its ironic that I looked more worse after exiting the salon lol.
