Bisous Bisous Pâtisserie reviews
19If you want some some macarons you have to go to this place because they have to closest macarons to Paris and I'm not lying cuz I've been to Paris. And from then I couldn't find any bakery that tasted like the ones in Paris until I found this bakery.
OK.it's not the cheapest, but this place is really great value. Good quality shouldn't come cheap! It's really good if you want quality pastries and cakes to take home (or have delivered) but there are a few tables and chairs outside and there is nothing more civilised than a cup of coffee and your choice of pastry from the counter. Never mind being in the area.this is one to go out of your way to find.
My fiancée and I live above Bisou and go here almost every weekend for breakfast or for a sugar fix. I’ve personally tried everything minus the dog treats - it’s all amazing! You can’t go wrong here! This is our go-to for any birthday/celebration, from their pre-made single desserts like blueberry cheesecake to Valentine’s Day cakes to their fruit tart (HIGHLY RECOMMEND ordering one). We’re even ordering a macaron tower for wedding.
The pastries were really yummy. The best maccoroons I have tasted.mom & daughter duo looking for the perfect Europeon desserts!
Did the macaron class with Chef Andrea and it was fantastic! So fun and informative. Would highly recommend!
The macaroons are delicious. They taste wonderful and the texture is so pleasing. Shamefully, I can eat an entire box in one day.
Everything was beautiful and tasted good, but when I walked into the empty shop the person behind the counter didn't greet or welcome me at all. The whole time I felt like I was a nuisance to them picking out my treats while they stood in silence, instead of being g friendly and treating me like a valued customer. Everything I got to try was delicious, so definitely go! Customer service was just lacking for me.
WOW! Will return here the lady that served me spoke beautiful French, she was from France amazing pastries.
What an awesome find! A French pastry shop that had good pastries and baked goods. The croissant was very authority and just right. The cakes were very good too. I was not disappointed at Allan's recommend this bakery.
There’s an older gentleman working there that has major road rage in a company vehicle. If this is how the business motto is I won’t be taking my business here and I love sweets.
We went to Paris this past summer and really appreciated all their pastries. The advice I have is stick to the traditional macaron.there is no need to add that much sugar. Stick with the natural jelly filling. I know it’s difficult to recreate these but the greatness of them is the simplicity of flavor. Basically, don’t fall into the American way of over sugaring everything I love the shop and the selection of pastries available.
We LOVED our macaron making class. The teacher is WONDERFUL and makes it super fun! Getting to take home A LOT of the end product was an added benefit:)
This place was delicious and had lots of options. We got the cream cheese croissant and a cinnamon roll thing. I would highly recommend and I think if I brought my mother-in-law here she would go into a diabetic coma.
If you want a good macaroon, give it a try. If you want a number cake, go somewhere else. I wanted something special for my 40th so I decided to give it a try. I drove 45 minutes to get from my home to the shop. I asked if I could try the frosting but was told it is made to order. I was told the frosting tastes a little less sweet than buttercream. Well, that was NOT the case. The frosting is comparable to a whipped cream cake from Wal-Mart or Target. It was beautiful but I paid $180 for it to be beautiful and TASTE GOOD. I had 20 people with me to celebrate my 40th and no one finished the cake. I tried to reach out to the company to let them know how disappointing it was to throw 3/4 of the cake away. I am not asking for a refund but $25 GC is a slap in the face. There are way better options in Dallas. Needless to say I will not return. Advice for anyone considering buying a number cake. Do not buy without getting a sample of the frosting even if it is made to order. I promise if they did give a sample they would not be able to sell these cakes.
Very VERY expensive but tasty. Clearly quality products. Good for a present (not so much for a tea time unless you want to o spend 25 dollars per person)
Initially when my fiance and I walked in, it was not a warm reception. I ordered the spinach and feta turnover and almond croissant. My fiance ordered a bacon cheddar scone/fresh fruit tart and we ordered oatmeal raisin cookies to go, which were pretty good. These items were not filling at all, thin flaky items with no substance. I thought that the savory items would be more filling. They were not overly flavorful in my opinion. I can go to Krogers, Tom Thumb, Corner Bakery or Panera Bread and buy better quality and tastier pastries, which I plan on doing. Very disappointed. Not impressed at all.
Good solid French style pastry shop with some items more successful than others. The chocolate tart and chocolate eclair are really good and not too sweet. On the other hand the pistachio eclair is very sweet and heavy. The coffee eclair is good. The Opera as well. The raspberry cake with meringue outside is good but a bit too sweet as well. Overall I would stick to chocolate based desserts which seem to use a great dark chocolate and less sugar than other pastries.
Quality French style bakery. I've ordered birthday cakes, had cruffins, and sampled macarons from this place and I'm never disappointed. Will continue to stop by there whenever I'm in West Village.
Top 2 pastry shops in Dallas. All the baked goods are made to perfection. But if you want a good selection, you must come early as items sell out.
The desserts are awesome. Give them a try. Your taste buds will thank you.
