We went for a friends birthday and had a fantastic time! Enrique was our server and he was great! He was there if we needed him and joked around with us. He added to the very welcoming and friendly environment. Overall, we had a great experience!

Hayden was our server/bartender, and he was absolutely amazing! The food came out quick and was great, the drinks were superb. All in all a great night. Thanks Hayden for keeping us happy!

The Avacado egg rolls yall! If you're into avocado, it's the best thing! We couldn't even get a picture they were gone so fast, but I got my usual Jalapeño cap burger, which is always a hit! (Add pickles) Wife had the wings to try something new to the menu, and they were great! Very tender and juicy! Always a treat and definitely try the in-house root beer or cream soda!

I ordered take out, and just want to say that was the best asparagus I’ve had in a long time, the ribs and chicken were very tender!
This was my first trying your restaurant, and I’ll definitely be trying it again soon!

Came in at 9: 30 on a Thursday night, not super busy. Appetizers were cold and not good, burgers were undercooked, service was not good, and our server was clearly smoking or vaping something while on the clock. Worst experience I’ve had at BJ’s ever, definitely needs improvements.

BJ’s is one of those places, where my best friend (s) and I can go to just spend time, relax, laugh and enjoy our time together, while enjoying a great meal and a fabulous pizookie. John-Michael has done a great job creating an atmosphere that is warm and inviting… a place for “grown ups” and families, alike.

This evening, after a very long day that topped off a very long few weeks, my best friend and I, stopped in to just let our hair down and breathe… and enjoy a favorite dessert. As always, the restaurant was inviting… in the evening, I like the dimmed lights and calmer, more serene atmosphere. It helps me to relax, when I’m otherwise overstimulated. The pizookie was fabulous. And, our service was excellent. We were served by a very kind, attentive young man (his name starts with an “E, ” but I’m blanking on his full name… he’s in school to become a teacher… music/band… with dreams of being a Symphony Maestro!). As a medically-retired educator, myself, we had a lot to talk about… and all as he was our server.

We did have a glitch in that on Tuesdays, pizookies are only supposed to be $5.00, and ours came on our ticket as full price. We mentioned something to the hostess as we left, because it really is something that needs to be fixed. But, it wasn’t worth us disrupting the flow of our evening for.

We’ll be back! We love it here. And, when you come, make sure you sign up for the rewards card! Earn FREE pizookies!

Side note… I once interviewed for a job as an Executive Assistant for the man, who was the founder of BJ’s. A man in Newport Beach, CA. It was years ago in my 20s. It wasn’t the right match, but I remember how much he loved the restaurant; the people; the business. He’d be proud of this location! Keep it up.

Made a reservation. When we arrived they said it would be about a 30 minute wait. An hour and a half later still sitting with other parties being set. Finally got our table, waited another half hour to get our order taken. Then another hald hour to get our food which was cold. Would not do this again.

Long wait once seated. Food came out cold. Other tables around us got their food multiple times before we got ours. Terrible service.

Holy cow, I just had one of the best dinners I've had in a while. FIrst, the pumpkin brew is fantastic. Pumpkin beer done right with great fall spice notes. And I ordered the tri-tip dinner without knowing it was the Thursday special. Great price and included dessert - triple chocolate "pizookie" which was off the chain! The tri-tip was as delicious a cut of beef as you would find in finest steakhouses. Tender, perfectly cooked with just the right barbeque enhancement. Even the garlic vegetables were perfect. Service was friendly and fast. My only suggestion to manager is to turn down the music/TV - When you have food this good, you don't need to blare the music.

Hadn't been there in a while and won't be back. We were seated quickly so that's not the problem. Obviously the waitress knew the people that were seated after us. Their order was taken quickly. The waitress finally came to take our order. 45 minutes later we still hadn't received our food but the table next to us had theirs. Go figure. Needless to say we walked out.

First off it took forever to be seated. Then there were no substitute items for the original menu item. It was just the worse experience ever. Never had this happen in Waco I guess it's all about the location and personnel.

It's a bit dark in there but the food exceptional. The boneless wings as an appetizer were delicious. Probably have that next time as the main dish. The guacamole bacon burger was great too.

BJ'S has always been good to our family, but this evening was especially good! We were served by a very good and disciplined waiter named Kaitlyn, and had fun with the manager who is Santa's evil twin! All BJ'S have been good, but this one may be the best just for the service.

Great service! Sat at the bar and Chelsea help us make our beer selection! Very friendly and great food! John the manager stopped and checked in on us was super delightful! The unlimited soup and salad is a game changer! Will definitely be back!

Great food and dessert, the Weekend Prime Rib Special is absolutely worth the price for the amount of food you get, not to mention how delicious it all was!

What a great visit! Great beer selection, delicious food, and INCREDIBLE staff. Chelsea, our bartender took care of us like an old friend. She had great menu knowledge and made really intuitive suggestions that were right on the money. We will definitely sit with her next time. We also enjoyed a visit from John, the manager. He was sincere and I felt he really enjoyed stopping by for a genuine visit. It was our first visit but will definitely be a regular spot for us.

Saturday afternoon— restaurant has about 20 people in the entire place. There was a big group to the side waiting. Some guy walked by the host station and says “be with you in a bit”. We weee really confused, thought maybe the hosting staff were tied up somewhere else and would come to the front soon. After a few minutes the same guy came back and said he might be able to seat us in 20 minutes. There were empty tables as far as the eye could see and it looked like there were people eating, the place wasn’t closed. There is no excuse for this kind of inefficiency, I cannot see how a place stays open acting like this and I wonder if corporate knows what they are up to in Lubbock. Anyway, totally not worth the effort and this makes me so sad, we love their food but the service here has always been disappointing.

My wife and I stopped by around 5: 00 pm last Friday and the host asked the two waitresses hanging around if they wanted a table-they quickly said no and the host said it would be about 5 minutes. We just kind of looked at each other aghast and decided to sit in the bar area and have a beer to debate whether we were going to stay after that. The bartender/server named Tristan couldn't have been more gracious and attentive. We decided to order an early dinner. I had the Tri-Tip with a half rack of ribs. The Tri-Tip was cooked perfectly but the ribs were a little dry-overall the food was fine. My wife had the bone in pork chop and she said it was "fine" too. My wife wanted to move to a booth and Tristan politely obliged, but it was dirty with food crumbs in the seams and the overall restaurant could use a good cleaning. The food was average at best but the service made up for it, we were very well taken care of. Not sure I would bring a friend here after the experience but we might give them another shot-I know things happen.
