Black Point Tattoo, Corpus Christi TX

Stopped by to inquire about a walk-in tattoo. The receptionist ignored me and never greeted us in any way. One of the artists that was in the middle of tattooing a client had to stop what he was doing and come over to greet us. The place is very small and the tattoo artists do not have individual divided work areas. Rather, there were several people crammed into a single room all getting tattooed together. This seemed odd and after discussing the tattoo I wanted with the artist (a simple small script name) I was given a ridiculously over priced quote ($200!) to which I promptly declined and left immediately. I have over 20 tattoos so this wasn't my first rodeo. They were just very unprofessional.

I’ve gotten all 3 of my tattoos from Black Point and have had amazing experiences each time. Most recently in March I had a tattoo done by Louis and he went above and beyond! It came out great and he really took his time making it look perfect! I can’t wait to come back and get more. The staff is always so nice and helpful and the place is super clean. Great place for someone looking for great work.

It's a good place that I've got two tattoos at. Louis will color your piece as he sees fit so make sure you know what exactly is going on before you lay back and can't see etc. Idk about the other guys in there but the work isn't bad at all.

Adan Pruneda is an awesome artist very knowledgeable on this history of his artwork we will definitely choose him for all our future tattoos.

Gotten great tattoos from Joseph! Been coming here for years and have lots of friends and families coming to the shop now! Definitely recommend checking them out!

They are the best. Their customer service skills and the way the interact with people are top notch. Very helpful and made us fill welcomed and gave us amazing tats. When we come back down this way we will be going back. Thank you guys!

I get all of my tattoos at both Black Point locations in Corpus Christi, I have never had a bad experience, the guys are always so cool and always have your best interest at heart. My tattoos are amazing and I will never go anywhere else!

If I could give it less stars I would, you had one guy who seemed like a lost apprentice and the other was full of excuses on why he couldn't do the tattoo my sister and I wanted. This place is straight trash, literally go to any other shop and get your ink guys.

Great environment, good people and most of all really good work. Would recommend to anyone. My tattoo artist was Joseph. I would suggest scheduling an appointment for very long tattoos.

Walked in with obscure idea of what I wanted. Joseph listen, started work on the picture, I came back next day and got my first Tattoo and I'm loving it! Those guys rock! I watched as several people came in and they were willing / able to help EVERYONE. Thanks Black Point Tattoo for helping with my first but not my last tattoo.

Adan did my first, and it is epic. I threw him a curve ball on my second - he'd never done a rock hopper, but he made it awesome with a ton of stipple work. Penguin with attitude!

I showed up with some garbage i tried to do high on K2 ten years ago.and now i can wear tshirts to the bar and not be embarrassed about my artwork. Joseph and Heather both did a fantastic job. They know what they are doing. And the place is super clean.

I went into Black point as a walk in and they immediately started helping me. This was my first professional tattoo and Israel was my tattoo artist and i couldn't have asked for a better experience or tattoo. They did everything i wanted and drew up the tattoo i wanted several times so i could be sure its what i wanted. If you're deciding where to go for a tattoo id choose here. They work with you on the price and give you what you ask for not what they want.

This is such a great shop! I got my first tattoo done by Luis, and the overall experience was awesome! It didn't hurt. It just felt like my arm was asleep. I can't wait to get more done.
