The food was pretty good.
Hot & fresh. I had the Healther Than The Rest Omlet (egg whites & veggies) & my husband had lemon blueberry pancakes with eggs, bacon, & sausage added.

My only complaint is that something fell into the pancake mix or wasn't mixed well and that part tasted like when you put some pill medicine in your mouth, drink water & accidentally don't swallow it. I'm not sure if it was some type of strong bittery powder that they use to make the lemon creame flavor but it was horrible.
If you don't like you bacon very dark and crunch, I'd suggest letting them know when you order. Our bacon was very crunch & dark and it looked like other people's bacon was also.

I went in for the first time with some of my colleagues about a few days ago. I ordered the red fish and it was absolutely phenomenal. The server Jake was super helpful in guiding me through the menu and made some great recommendations. I had a great experience and would love to come again!

We love coming here for breakfast. Great food and great atmosphere. So many choices it is hard to decide. Very nice bakery items too.

I just wanted to add that even though we visit this place fairly often, our best experience was on July 4th, 2023. It was a wonderful experience with great food as normal, but the service was exceptional! We had several very attentive people checking on us to make sure we were taken care of. It was amazing. I couldn't figure out how to add a new review so I added to this one. I just had to give them credit for making our holiday truly wonderful. Thank you!

Has a full, creative menu and environment like a regular restaurant, however you have to order at a counter like it's fast food. Odd, and a little out of place.

I started to jot down all the delicious food and drinks we all loved and wanted but would have had to include almost the entire menu! Face it, it’s all really good, really delicious. And then Doug, the manager was so kind and so courteous. Great experience. Highly recommend!

What used to be my favourite spot has turned completely upside down from its seating to the food and coffee. Great days gone!

Stopped in for brunch with my 2 kids and everything was absolutely amazing and tasted so good. Thank you Carina for making sure we were taken care of and just making the experience 10 times better. We will definitely be back to see you!

Very good the food is always good too many options they have a bar, ice cream parlor and desserts it is very varied

I’ve been to black walnut only a handful of times and witnessed a manager harass multiple young girl employees. It has gotten to the point where I feel I have to speak up about it. I asked her what her name was and she said her name was Sling. This is something that should absolutely NOT be tolerated and upper management needs to address!

The breakfast sausage was not good, very dry. My burger patty was not even room temperature. My husband’s French toast was made wrong twice and we just gave up. My friends family ate with us, she asked for avocado but they never brought it. This place is very over rated and over priced for the quality of food and service we received. The staff didn’t seem to care, they never notified the manager. Will not be a returning customer.

Delicious food. Definitely try the protein bowls. Cooked to perfection. Fast service. Nice outdoor seating. Margaritas and mojito's are good!

Overall it's really great. The pulley system that the fans work on is very unique and very cool to watch as you wait for your food. The food was absolutely delicious. We met some friends from work there. Everyone loved their dish and loved their assortment of teas. Overall a fantastic place and I will definitely be returning!

The steak and eggs beat every steak house I’ve been to this year. I’ll be coming back for it.

I went to black walnut a few days ago it was my first time ever going, carina who took my order at the cash register was so helpful and kind. I couldn’t decide on what to get once she helped me come to a decision i sat down and not very long after my food was out. She even came back to make sure everything was ok. I will definitely be back! The service was excellent!

We always have a great experience at Black Walnut Cafe. The staff is great, the kitchen is efficient and turns out great food all the time. Doug who has been there for 9 years does a really good job of making us feel welcome and ensuring we have everything we need. Kudos to you all. Try them out.

It's difficult to leave a glowing review. Positive points are that the food was good, came out hot, and was pretty fast. Way overpriced for what you get, though. I had to order at a counter, and I was surprised that there were servers since I had to get my own drink, too. Only 5 wings in an order for $12 and 1 piece of French toast was $7. If I pay $25-30 for brunch, at least offer something like a bottomless mimosa or basket of breads. Just my two cents.
