I referred Blackmon Mooring to an insurance client of mine. The insured received very prompt, very professional service. I am extremely satisfied with our representative, Jessica Carroll. She is always supremely quick to respond to any call, email, or text. She is very engaging and has spent time educating our agency on all of Blackmon Mooring's services.
TLDR; *DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY* OUR PROJECT HAS TAKEN TWICE THE ESTIMATE TIME AND THIS COMPANY HAS DAMAGED PERSONAL PROPERTY/FAMILY HEIRLOOMS, STOLEN THINGS FROM MY HOME, AND HAS THE WORST COMMUNICATION IVE EVER EXPERIENCED
My home caught fire in early february 2022, it almost february 20*23* and they are STILL DOING CONSTRUCTION.but don’t worry, because with in a couple hours of my life changing disaster, their sales person was at my doorstep UNSOLICITED, trying enter my home and get us to sign contracts faster than anything else they’ve accomplished on this project.
My house sat soaked in the water that put the fire out for a almost a month, after they finally dried the water up, it sat for SIX MONTHS COVERED IN ASH/SOOT WITH ALL OF MY DAMAGED BELONGINGS SITTING INSIDE.
This company is supposed to pick up, clean, and return ALL your property (that’s not destroyed) however, they left a large amount of our belongings (that sat for six months in a partially burnt home) for US to clean and store.
Once they finally started construction, it has taken them almost another entire 6 months to complete. (they’re still doing it as of 01/14/*23*)
This company has consistently installed things in the wrong room, creating multiple holes in the drywall along the process.
Don’t expect any form of timely (at all honestly) communication from any project manager that works here.
As i write this review our insurance company is in the process of kicking us out of the rental we lived in because this company has taken so long. Please use any other company.

Absolutely horrible company
It tooks them more than 4 months to clean our clothes after the fire.
Many items were damaged in the process. No call returned. Multiple promises never kept. During the clean up process the company water damaged our proprety. Smoke damage: needed to recall the company back to finish the work
Bad customer service, false promises.

Regardless of how large or small our emergency, the BMSCAT team is onsite and staffed correctly to complete the task. Most events they have affected areas back in service within 7 working days. This includes remediation, demo and restoration.
They performed the restoration of the TCU Library after storm Uri which caused water damage.
Exceptionally careful. Came on time and were very professional and communicated well every step of the way.

I called them to clean an 8' x 10' rug. Person answering the phone said they don't serve residential clients, FYI.
The Worst Experience Ever.
They took months to start, messed up every single step along the way, ignored issues until I brought them up, passed blame to whoever wasn't present that day, and ultimately just sucked. I talked to the supervisor who seemed invested and told me he would figure it out and call me back tomorrow with a plan to fix everything immediately. Then he never called me the next day. I gave them every single chance possible and tried my hardest as I just wanted my house repaired asap, but Blackmon Mooring made my life a living hell for months. They have extremely poor communication skills and charged me for work they never did. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY.
I had a house fire and they were supposed to store and clean my things but most of my stuff wasn't returned, the rest was damaged, and my clothes and linen were never cleaned and brought back still smelling like smoke and one box even had dirt in it. But they still charged over $40,000. I let my insurance company know this but they still paid them and I still haven't been reimbursed for my clothes or linen yet. I don't recommend this company!
