Tattoo has shaky lines and bad shading, very disappointing tattoo done by Chino pictures on his profile not representative of his everyday work at least that’s my experience

Nice shop and friendly artists. Unfortunately the piece I agreed to and paid for was lacking in detail and looked basic compared to the photo I brought and compass that was used as a templet. Final product was not what I agreed to or paid for. What did it for me was the “artist” reversed East and West which had to be covered/redone during the session. A failed attempt to conceal the mistake adding white lines to mimic a reflection but actually looked like claw marks were added. I was told to come back after it healed to fix/touch up. Organizing a time/date was a joke…I would think addressing this would be priority but evidently was not. I did not get what I paid for and in fact received terrible work that is scared badly now.and nothing like I was charged for…. And now have to pay to have it fixed/finished…. Now I understand why payment is collected before work is done…. While this shop does have talented artist they also have incompetent ones as well…. I would not recommend taking a chance, Calderon left permanent scaring with less than agreed upon work…. Plenty of other quality studios in the greater Houston area!
9/10/20223 Update. I appreciate the owner reaching out and offering additional work at a discounted price. I also appreciate making sure this does not happen again to other customers. Bottom line is that I overpaid for this quality of work and then had to pay to fix things not to mention living with the low quality work and scaring. I would think a more appropriate offer would be for the “artist” to refund a reasonable portion of what I paid.

Walked in to try and get my son a 2”x1” bumble bee tattoo that was to be a replica of the one I have and was quoted $200. Cool, but they did not have any openings during the time I was home (I travel out of state for work). Before I came home for a few days this time, I started to try and schedule an appointment beforehand, but was unable to reach anyone by phone, email, or IG message. We walked in to see what their availability was. The man at the counter was rude and quoted me $609. That is absurd for a tattoo that size and that required zero artistic thought since it was to be a replica of a tattoo already on me. The place appeared clean though, so I’ll give them that, but that was about the only positive thing about the place.

Cannot say enough good things about Calderontattooart who did this incredible piece. I gave him and idea and he turned it into a masterpiece. Took two sessions, and he was very meticulous and thorough with his work. Super friendly, punctual, and made sure I was comfortable. I still can’t believe how amazing it turned out with so much detail. I will absolutely be back, and would recommend him to anyone.

Incredible, and I mean incredible, experience working with Chino over two days, back-to-back, to get my first tattoo. About 14 hours of work done.

He created an incredible design centered around one of my favorite movies, The Green Knight, and performed the work flawlessly.

I've gotten so many compliments about my tattoo since I received it over a week ago. Also, so many people ask where I got it done, and I happily refer them to Blessed Tattoo and show them the artists' work on Instagram, mainly Chino's since he did my tattoo.

The entire staff at Blessed Tattoo were fun to be around and all clearly take their work very seriously. The countless trophies that line their work stations speak volumes for the caliber of artists working at this shop.

What impressed me most was that my second appointment was on a Friday, and Chino stayed until after the shop closed making sure that the work was up to his standards. He could have slapped on the finishing touches and rushed me out the door. Instead, he worked diligently to ensure his work was of the highest quality. This greatly impressed me.

If you are looking for an amazing tattoo, Blessed Tattoo is incredible. It's pretty pricey, but you truly do get what you pay for.

I had my tattoo first started by Yaniel Mieres. It was suppose to be a full sleeve. Communicating for an appointment was a nightmare. It was almost impossible to reach him but when I finally was able to, he was 2 hours late to our appointment. I should’ve seen that as a red flag and left but I had already paid a $250 deposit that was non refundable and did not go towards the session, which was $2500. I did keep my optimism as it was my first time getting a tattoo and stayed friendly throughout the process. He was very unfocused and unprofessional throughout; seemed as though he didn’t want to take this session seriously. Although the work that he did complete was well done, he canceled my next appointment and said he would reschedule with me. I tried several times to contact him but he ended up ghosting me. When I contacted the business owner, Yesy, she just said there’s nothing that can be done but to make an appointment with a different artist there. I was told he was too busy to continue the work that he started on me. I then decided to make an appointment with Yesy for the next availability which was several months later and costed me $400 just to book. After a few days went by I rethought my decision and didnt want to continue my unfinished tattoo at that location after the bad customer service. Yesy refused to refund me, even though I never got the appointment and was several months before the scheduled date.

Wow I called this place to inquire about an apprenticeship and either an artist or receptionist hung up the phone on me, refusing to give me any information. What a display of mean and rude behavior. I called because I admire the work and I would love to enhance my skill as well as be an asset to the business. I’m totally turned off by the “Mean girl”that answered the phone. You will not get very far treating people in such ways!

Tattoo artists vary by experience so I cant speak for all of them. I waited til my tattoo healed before making this review, but the artist I went to did NOT do a good job! Did not want shading in the first place, but the unwanted shading done is entirely too dark and does not look at all like what I wanted, looks more like a large bruise instead of a tattoo. I feel overcharged for what I recieved, now it's either laser it off and do it all over, find another artist who can salvage the work OR just keep it as a lesson learned. Seems like greyscale work is mainly the work done there, outside of that its hit or miss. Needless to say I'm not a satisfied customer

Great place, clean and professional. Guillermo did my tattoo, and it was better than I could have expected. I was nervous about the price tag, but these are artists doing museum quality artwork. I'm definitely going back and probably soon

I’m very happy with the first part of my full arm sleeve. All of these artists do phenomenal jobs. My personal artist was David and he killed it

The shop is amazing. Who doesn’t want to get a tattoo in a clean shop? All the artist vibe well which makes for a great environment to receive service in. Everyone in the shop is friendly. Jose has done an amazing job of investing in shop down to the tattoo chairs. Invest in other artist with your same caliber of professionalism.

I am very satisfied with Ricky Tattoo Cuba artist that is currently working at this location. I loved that he worked hard to create a design with me that is meaningful and amazing. It’s exactly what I was looking for. Ricky, has an amazing talent and works hard on his tattoo art pieces. I’m very grateful to had been at Blessed Tattoo studio and having Ricky work my beautiful art piece on my leg.
