Blessing African Hair Braiding, El Paso TX

I’m new to El Paso. I came across Blessings African Hair Braiding by luck. I saw a young lady and her hair was beautifully done in Bohemian Knotless. I asked her who did her hair and she said Blessings. I called on a Friday afternoon and they had availablity Saturday morning. They were very prompt in opening the salon and getting right to work. I asked for small knotless with curly ends. The braids are tension free and easily able to pull up into a bun or different hair styles the same exact day. I came around 9: 30 and was finished by 1pm. Overall great service. I have no complaints and I will be back.

Hair come out nice expect it wasn’t medium box braids like I asked for, they were small plaits. It took them 5 hours to finish my hair and it was 2 people working on my head, Which is crazy. Then she goes to eat a snack and braid my hair while eating and didn’t even bother to wash her hands. I don’t play about my hair and I don’t like people playing in my head & I know they could tell I was irritated. I don’t usually go to random people without knowing them or their work but I’m disappointed. They charged me $180 for short small braids that I didn’t even want or ask for. Do better and listen to your customers next time.

Yesterday was my second time coming here. The ladies are phenomenal! Quality hair, excellent skills, and perfect tension. In and out in 4 hours or less for normal size knotless, and they will go above and beyond to provide exceptional service. I love that God led me here. Best African braiding shop in El Paso.

This place did a great job! My five year old had box braids with beads. My daughter made it challenging but there was a great amount of patience offered and very pleasant music played. I recommend!

Nice location, friendly staff but they need to listen and quote better. I got three different prices for cornrolls. First was $50, then $70 for 9 rolls straight back during the process, then changed to $80 for 12 when it was finished. I wanted 6-9 at he beginning. And to top it off, she missed a couple of places but my son is the one that noticed and pointed it out. If it didn't look good, i would have gave a lower rating.

I love coming here. My hair is always neat and done in a timely manner. The prices are also very affordable. I highly recommend all the braiders.

Was looking for a braiding place in Alamogordo and this location showed as the closest. Contacted the store and made an appointment for 9am that Saturday. Forgot to mentioned they did askfor my number and name before ending call. Initially when I arrived the place was closed. Since my clock is fast I waited then decided to get some cash. Ended up walking to the gas station about. 8 miles up the street. By the time I walked back there was another individual also waiting for the establishment to open. At 0950, someone finally showed up and opened the doors for us to enter. This individual did apologize for their tardiness and stated they had a hair event the night prior. They were quick and efficient with my hair. But I like everyone do not like my time to be wasted. Courtesy is also a big part of service.

Things I didn’t like whilst being serviced. The hair used tangled while they were braiding Would suggest utilizing another brand/type. A preteen came in and the way they spoke to her didn’t seem warm. Her parent did come moments later but It was the same tone with them. Maybe they are regulars but she seemed to be tender headed and they weren’t tender.

All in all it was a good experience. I would revisit again but not frequently.

Awesome experience. Booked an appointment 2 days in advance. The team started shortly after I arrived and the service was A+. Reasonable pricing for medium box braids and I love that the hair is included. Already thinking about my next style.

This hands down is the only place that can braid my hair. My edges are never pulled out. I always get micrograms, my daughters box braids, and the ladies are always good to us. Juliana has been such a blessing to all people who walk in.

This is my second time going to this hair braiding salon. The first time I went I had a beautiful experience the ladies treated me well and did a very efficient job. But unfortunately with this visit I cannot say the same, I was rushed into a chair and was told that it would be $200 for waist length even though my last visit was hip length for the same price. I liked the work they did so I proceeded with the service. (I think it was because I pointed out before they started on my hair about the price that made this experience very unenjoyable.) But I will let the pictures speak for themselves and you can decide whether or not the rating I gave was reasonable. (My hair was so tight I cried the first two nights I tried to sleep on it) unfortunately I will not be returning to the salon anytime soon. ** I think the most important part of these pictures is that the middle part is extremely crooked so I cannot wear it out in public without a side part**
