I do not recommend this place. I suggest you continue doing more research until you find the appropriate place. This place is all about money, fees and polices. However, these demands are not reflected with conclusive results.your child is only one more number representing thousands of dollars billed to the insurance every month.
I also, do not recommend this place because they put each child in individual rooms. In our experience this was extremely negative for my son because he learned to be isolated, he hardly interacted with other children and now he is struggling being around people and other children his same age at school. This setting causes the opposite effect of what you want, which is make sure that your child learns social skills and becomes functional by interacting with other children and people in general. You need to find a clinic with open space where you child is exposed to interact with people.

This was our experience at this place.

1. I was told that they had availability, but they made wait about 3 months. (dishonesty). I had to email the intake manager to ask and remind her that we were still waiting. (Because I did not hear from her until I sent the email.

2. During the 11 months my son was there, he had several head injuries, and other incidents. They just give you the report to sign it and t is always you child's fault, either because you child was running, spinning, jumping or whatever excuse. They would never write on the report the therapist got distracted, was sleepy or wasn't paying attention (it wouldn't be convenient right? (again, dishonesty and zero accountability)

3. For a period of 11 months - The clinical supervisor was never, never, never, able to set up monthly meetings, observations or something. She did send emails a couple of times asking if I wanted to come, then I replied to my availability, next she got lost and end of the story. I would never hear back from her. The only time I went to observe my son's session was per my request and honestly, they could not show me nor tell me how they were implementing his targets. (again, I do not know how this woman has made it so far)

4. During the first few months I sent emails to the clinical supervisor, emails were never replied, she only replied back one time saying that she lost the previous email. The situation continued to happen for the next 11 months, Same with text messages, ignored, or replied like a machine. "yes", "no", "of course" end of the story. (Who would trust their children to someone like that)

5. Clinical Supervisor works "solo. " she creates your child's treatment plan without your input as a parent and then she gets lost. I'm sorry to describe it this way but she is like a ghost, non-existent. (by the way my child's DOB and diagnosis appeared incorrect the whole time in the treatment plans)

6. I told the clinical supervisor I was noticing things, and her reply was, " he has mastered those out. " that's it and I just had to take her word. Really? Again she works ("solo. ") The fact is that my son's did not master 1 single target out of all the targets of his treatment plan. The only time he made some progress was when an RBT named looney worked with my son. So, my question is -who is lying?

7. I told the clinical supervisor that my son was not doing good, and she sent the test required for me to fill out so that they could update his treatment plan and she said, " I hate Tricare. " I'm pretty sure the owner does not hate the thousands of dollars paid by Tricare monthly. However, Mrs. Owner your employees hate Tricare or maybe the hard work.

I want to emphasize that this was my experience and facts are facts, my son did not make progress, went into regression and if you test him to see if he truly mastered those targets; you would be surprised of real-life results.
The fact is that my son's needs were not met and it's a shame because he was probably one of the easiest cases in comparison to other children.

I would not recommend this center for any child. In my experience with them, they seem to prioritize insurance money over the well-being of the children. Despite telling you that your child is making progress, it seems that they only check boxes on their files without actually putting in the effort to help the children. It is also difficult to reach out to them for any concerns, and their therapists do not give any feedback on what they work on with your child during the day. At the end of the day, they simply hand over a tablet for you to sign and do not even provide any comments on how your child did. I suggest that parents should conduct more research before enrolling their children in this center.

I do not recommend Blossom if you have a school age child, or a child about to go to school. They will not work with your child’s schedule. I repeat they will not! They did not with my child. They always wanted a full day of hours and not half days it was always a flat out no and no other solution. It’s all about money and hours and their clinical recommendations. They are against your child going to school, and will not work with you. Beware of what they tell you it’s not all true. All they care about are hours, and forget about the best interest of the child. It’s a shame and unfortunate. Also, go to a provider that will give you proper parent training. Never did we get that with our BCBA all it consisted of was talking about schedules and meeting hours and we barely saw her. Never did we get proper parent training to help us with our non verbal child with autism. I repeat never! In the end we lost our rbt due to her leaving to another provider, I don’t blame her. She was great with our son however we understood she was not being treated fairly by the provider. With her leaving they would only hire a replacement rbt if we would agree to their schedule that would take our child out of school most of the week. They didn’t care that our child’s school was a 4 day instructional week. They wanted hours! If your child is missing school that much they are missing out on learning and these are not skills Blossom will teach. We were not treated fairly and were never allowed to bring our child to the clinic. It was strictly at home therapy. We were clear from the beginning that we wanted the best for our child and if it took driving 45 minutes away to take him to the clinic we were open to doing that. However that was another no that was given with no other solution. These are all the red flags we will be looking out for when searching for our next provider. Please do your research thoroughly and ask plenty of questions for your child sake.

I do not recommend this place.
TLDR: They refuse to see us without a deposit even though our insurance company has told them we owe nothing and will be covered 100%.

They contacted my insurance company and were informed that we have met our out of pocket maximum for the year and do not owe anything for services as insurance will cover it 100%. Even after learning this they are still requiring a deposit saying they will refund it. I spoke with my insurance company and they said that is not correct or how a practice should handle this. I followed up again with Blossom explaining what my insurance said and they said it’s just their policy to collect the deposit regardless of what insurance says.

Extremely disappointed to have wasted so much time trying to get services just to have to start over at a new provider. Save yourself the time and start somewhere else.
