Blue Cross & Blue Shield of TX

For such a big company, it's unbelievable how there is never a live person available to assist a provider's office. Every time I call I can never get connected. Automated system says no one is available then just hangs up. Patients get frustrated with providers, but they don't realize how incredibly hard it is to get any type of help from BCBS. With insurance being this expensive, you would think they could afford to hire more people to provide phone support at least, or outsource. I wonder how many CSR are on payroll. I know company will never care to even look at all these negative reviews, but at this point I'm just writing this to vent!

If I can give them a 0 I would. Worst experience I have had to go through. My mom was taken a big amount of money beginning of January. Made no sense why they would even charge that much for a month of medical, not even my family of 4 pay that much. I, her daughter, have been calling since January fighting for her refund and till this day have not had no luck. Keep in mind every time I call is a minimum call of 1 hour and 30 mins. Even a police report has been filled. They still say that financial team is working on it, but when you call you can't get in contact with the financial team. I honestly would think it twice before getting this insurance. Such a big Company but terrible service
