I have had imaging and joint injections here! The staff are always very pleasant and typically appointments run on time. They are great at explaining everything and are prompt with their radiology reports. I will say that their rooms are quite cold, so be sure to bring layers! I wish they had a blanket warmer for the procedure room.

Leslie and the entire team I had contact with made this not so great moment in my life a Great experience! Smiles all the way around and very comfortable atmosphere! Would definitely recommend.

I was apprehensive after reading the negative reviews, but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. I’m so glad I did. I was in the emergency room on 10/31 with high blood pressure and kidney pain. After being released, I had a follow up with my primary care doc who recommended an abdomen ultrasound. The front staff was excellent and so patient with me when I canceled my appointment as I wasn’t sure if I needed to wait for meds to take effect before doing the scan. When I called to reschedule, they were prompt again. They explained the procedure, what I needed to do to prep, and answered my questions. I got a voicemail reminder the day before my appointment. My appointment was at 8: 00am. I was checked-in promptly and the tech took me back right at 8: 00. Nancy made me at ease, asked me many questions about why I was referred and seemed genuinely interested in the details of my health. She was professional, precise, and didn’t rush. She even checked something my doctor hadn’t mentioned in my paperwork and took the time to find the blood vessel I was asking about for the reviewing doctor. I will be back if I need more imaging services.

I can not say enough good things about the staff at Blue Star imagining! It all starts with the warmest greeting and big genuine smile from Shanea. My husband and I are both veterans and prefer to have all of our imaging done here, because of the wonderful staff! Garry (I’m sorry if I’m spelling his name wrong) and the radiology team are all amazing! Thank you for always taking such great care of us! We love y'all!

They used to be good in my opinion.but when it comes to follow up, they just provide best smile and LIP SERVICE.they do NOT call you back like they SAY they will. Please dont promise something you don't do! I called twice and second time rep was so nice I thought WOW she will call me back as she said, but NO!

After reading all the reviews, I was expecting the worst for my visit on 10/13/2023, but still willing to give the benefit of the doubt. The facility was easy to access, parking was great, inside was nice and clean. The front desk staff was friendly and courteous. I was called back very quickly. I have extremely high remarks for Crystal (Krystal or Chrystal). She walked me back from the waiting room, explained every step of the procedure, talked to me throughout, and was super friendly, courteous, respectful, and professional. She also walked me back out once the procedure was complete. I almost hated to leave. It was a great experience from start to finish. Good customer service is so rare these days across all sectors of business and service. Great or excellent seems extinct. Crystal made the few moments I was at Blue Star Imaging (BSI), the high point of my day. Hope those in charge at BSI will take note of this review. No, I am not an acquaintance, friend, or family of Crystal or anyone at BSI. Your experience at BSI may differ from mine, but I was so impressed, I wanted to provide a formal review and feedback to the facility.

Front office staff was very kind. I was also impressed that this facility invited me to come back with my child while the X-Rays were being taken.
But prices are OUTRAGEOUS! After insurance—each X-ray was $355! Compared to $30 for similar X-rays at a different facility.
My insurance company suggested I use their website to price compare facilities in the future—but interestingly enough, Blue Star doesn’t have any price information available on the insurance website.
Lesson learned.
They are a very kind facility, but not worth 10x the price

Blue Star is an in-network provider with my insurance, and the procedure for which I was referred was a covered procedure. However, after the doc wrote the order for the scan, they refused to request the required pre-authorization, which prohibited me from accessing my insurance benefits. Instead, it was 'cash up front' and no claim filing. What are they trying to avoid by refusing to file a legitimate claim to an insurance company with whom they have an in-network contract? Sounds a bit shady to me.

I had a right hip arthrogram (MRI with contrast) on June 9. Blue Star called me on 6/6 to schedule and on 6/8 to confirm appointment and personal co-pay amount. I've had 8 other MRIs on different parts over the last 10 years at other imaging centers and the price was competitive. I got there right before 1PM, 4 easy pages of paper work (they already had all my info from orthopedic) made payment, really didn't wait to be taken to dressing room (of course it was right after lunch), got changed into my fancy pants, they did a superb job of describing the contrast injection procedure, even though I've had this exact same procedure done at another place, put me right into the MRI, asked me what type of music (anything but Bieber I said) and 20ish minutes later I was done. They said they'd send images and report to doctor, no check out, just out the door. I thought I might be a little sore from the injection but not really. Everyone was very professional and concerned about me having a good experience, and answered all of my questions. Thank you, and I give them 5 Blue Stars!

I arrived early and they saw me earlier than my appointment time, worked me in right away, and I was finished just aftet my originally scheduled time! Super fast and efficient.

Consumer Theft. Stay away from this place. They charge more than most other places for simple scans. The didn't give me an estimate prior and now I am stuck with a bill for over $1000 for a simple scan for my elbow. They had availability the same day which is the only positive but I would have waited if I knew about their terrible billing processes and extreme charged.

Keep sending me a bill for something my insurance already paid. Horrible communication and management for payments and billings. Wasted so much time getting them to actually recognize they were paid by insurance. Horrible experience.

Service is nice, the people that work here are nice too but there are other places (in proximity) that are atleast 40% cheaper on services. For that reason, i may not use them.

Staff was awesome and friendly! Loved the convenience of seeing my PCP Dr. Schmidt upstairs at Synapse Performance Health and then coming downstairs to get an x-ray.

I’ve had two MRIs here, first time was my ankle and everything was fine.although recently i went in for a brain MRI and right away the front desk lady billed me for the ENTIRE scan instead of the percentage that is always discussed, didn’t give me any type explanation about what she was charging and how much ect.then when i called today after my mom tried to call to get the overpayment refunded the front desk ladies hung up on me TWICE while i was getting put on hold.when i called the THIRD time a lady who had just came back from her lunch break was the only one who was very helpful and nice.management needs to do better with their front desk employees.
