Bluewater Seafood reviews
20 Food was really good, value to money is definitely better than many other restaurants.
We visited on Saturday and we were a huge party of about 35 people including kiddos and yet the food came out reasonably on time with almost no mistakes or confusion.
Thank you and sure be coming back.
Food was good but the service was mediocre. That is always how it is. It is either good food and bad service. Or bad food and good service.
My first time was great! The oysters were fresh and the seafood was delicious. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. The only thing is prices are a bit high for the area. But it is common for seafood restaurants anyway. I wish I would visit more often but I just can't afford to be a frequent guest.
We had such a great experience tonight at Blue water. We had a bad experience about 7 years ago at a different location and swore we'd never be back. But my hubby and I are moving to this location and went to go see the house and thought we'd check out restaurants in the area. Daniel was a great server. He offered to do half and half fries and onion rings. Which I thought was so nice since we were splitting aatge platter. We saw him handle a guest complaint perfectly at another table. We could see the tall manager Victor just constantly moving and working. Food was great. The crab cakes were my absolute favorite. The oysters half shell were fresh. My husbands favorite were the fried oysters.
Additionally, their playlist of songs was also really nice. I was jamming and enjoying my food!
We will be back!
Amazing food. Hubs and I got our favorite, the shrimp cuatro, which features coconut shrimp, shrimp kisses, grilled shrimp, and grilled shrimp, along with shrimp fried rice and fries. My grandma got the fried shrimp and loved it. The server was very friendly. They also have delectable boudin balls and fried zucchini. Definitely try the remoulade that comes with the zucchini.
A little pricey, but definitely worth it.
We love this place our waitress Mz Jordan is the best we will return food was great big shrimps my husband love the fried oysters
Place an order for delivery. Not all of my order got delivered. Went to the restaurant to cancel the order and get a refund. The manager comped my meal and gave me a $25 gift card, no questions asked. Mistakes happens but how we fix our mistakes makes a difference. Definitely recommend this restaurant. Just the service alone is worth it.
If you like decorations and they distract you from the taste of sub par food and lazy servers who can't even refill a drink this is the place for you! Enjoy one sided bias political programs on TV instead of those pesky sporting events? They have that too! So if your feeling blue (pun intended) come on down!
Today I was invited out for a drink. I order a Margarita mixed wit raspberry, for the part that I got to taste before my drink was knocked over because I was trying to answer the waiter tht kept asking if was ready to order and I clearly wasn't! I spills my drink trying to answer her. Never did she offer to replace it sh tred to her me clean the tale, but I wassfill left with a sticky freaking cup. I the asked for anewcup to pour the small portion of my rita in there. I really didn't want to tip her anything, but it just not me to not tips just not, but over all my experience was horrible that wth her annoying me about food and I clearly wasn't ready. But th only positive thing was the. CAjun chicken sandwich it was good. I was outside around 6 or 8 pm on 11/6 she wore glasses I forget her name.
I came here on my b-day 10-27 & the food was fantastic! I even try their fry alligator. We had a great waitress who was polite & gave us excellent service. Job Well Done
The food was good but we were totally grossed out. The bar back sneezed into his hands which was right by the lemons, cherries and other drink garnishes and never washed his hands. Then a female off duty worker in a yellow shirt and shorts comes into the restaurant holding a dog, many of the other waitstaff came over and pet the dog NONE of them washed their hands. Actually right after touch the dog one of the guys took a straw and placed it in a customer's drink. Just when we thought it was over she came back into the restaurant with the dog again and this time the bartender pet the dog. When we closed out and left she was standing at the front of the restaurant by the hostess stand holding the dog. This is nasty and unsanitary we saw them grab fruit for drinks with bare hands after touching the dog and one the guys working kept playing with his hair. The food was good but I am so glad we ate inside and had a front row seat. I will not be back.
Ordered the Catfish & Shrimp yesterday was very disappointed with the shrimp it looked and tasted like it was fried in month old oil, it was a very dark brown and very dry inside.compared to the catfish which was a golden brown and very moist. Also asked for lemons which I did not get? Was really looking forward to my Shrimp: (
I had the fried snapper and the breading was terrible so they mad me a piece of grilled s.lnapped that was over cooked. So I didn't really enjoy the dish I ordered but the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Ordered to go last night about 7pm and immediately serve the food. I found that the seafood wasn’t fresh. I ordered a mariners Platter again and my wife the fried catfish dinner but once more was disappointed with the freshness. House salads were good.
Food and service were excellent. Most seafood boils have changed to market pricing so prices have gone up significantly.worth it for delicious crab legs in the middle of the city though.
Food was great, waitress messed up drink order, at 14.00 a margarita they should be spot on. My fault should have brought it to her attention but overall great place
The first couple of times I have eaten here it’s been fantastic. Today I don’t know, it wasn’t the best. And to spend the type of money we spent there and for it not to be good I won’t be seeing them for a while, if then. And this is 11: 19 AM
OK I called Supervisor and she apologize for mishap this morning. I really appreciate her replacing our lunch thank you. ️️️
Food is delicious and very feeling they put a lot of food on your plate this is not a place you go if you only eat like a bird
Never in my life have I ever dealt with the most incompetent staff at a restaurant in my entire life.wait staff, assistant managers, general manager. Im absolutely dumbfounded by the lack of intelligence or even pure common sense that I encountered at this establishment. My family and I are long time patrons of the Blue Water establishment in Champions. WE LOVE THE CHAMPIONS LOCATION BTW! We expected to receive the same experience at the hwy 6 location. NOPE. I just have no words to tell the public that you should never go there. EVER EVER EVER, just NO! Don't go, over charged us, completely unapologetic staff, the managers were the worst. Our Mushmouth waiter was never around.just completely horrible experience. DONT GO, EVER. STAY AWAY! GO TO THE 1960 N CHAMPIONS LOCATION ONLY!
This is an amazing place! Great service! Our waiter was great!
Now, we get to the food, awesome, awesome sea food. The grilled talapi was amazing, the shrimp also amazing plus the shrimp gumbo awesome.
My experience there was great and plan to visit more often now that I will be close.
