Boardroom Styling Lounge - The Woodlands

Get a membership! I have had one for several years, and it is invaluable for the professional who always need to look as good as they can.
The stylists are outstanding, and my personal favorite is Kay, but good luck getting in to see her because she is AMAZING.
You really can not go wrong. The staff on front are warm and always glad to see you. They serve cold refreshments and have a waiting area that is SO relaxing.

Men-avoid at all costs. Scheduled a clean-up before a family event. Front desk male staff didn’t honor my online appointment because they were overbooked. 2.5 hours later they wanted to charge me $80 for a sub standard edge up. Wasted my time that should have taken 15-20 minutes. Incompetent reception employees, stylist tried to scam me into paying for a full haircut after she spent 15 minutes using clippers and doing little else. The actual space was dirty and unkempt, needs a full overhaul. Maybe they all had a bad day, but sorry you will never gain my business again.

I am so frustrated as a customer. One of the most expensive haircuts in town and they want to upcharge you for beard service to just blend the sideburns. They act like they’re gonna straight razor shave me just to trim it up. I feel taken advantage of as not all my stylists there have done this. Of course you can never keep 1 stylist because they rotate like crazy. I can’t count how many different ones over years. Not sure why I’ve continued to go other than convenient location.

Did the benchmark and very unique experience. Really liked the styling when Kim was done. The arm and scalp message was very relaxing

Wow! Best staff and haircut I’ve ever gotten. I was extremely surprised I had an appointment with whoever was available and after speaking with a barber he referred me to Sabrina.

Overall a very cool experience.

Love this place. Haven’t had a bad stylist yet and the service is great. Gotta have some money, it isn’t cheap but you get what you pay for.

I have been a consistent customer of the Boardroom for over a year. I have had very good experiences at least 98% of the time. There was one time where the stylist either didn't know what she was doing with my beard or didn't understand what I was asking for her to do with my beard. Some of the best experiences have been with Darren and Lizzy, but today I had a fantastic appointment with Eric. Eric did an awesome job on my undercut and did a fantastic job on my beard. I look forward to scheduling another appointment with him the next time I need my hair and beard cut. I encourage the Boardroom to take care of great stylist like those I have mentioned as they are not just great at what they do and for repeat business, but because it's hard to find great people such as them.

Love this place. Jess is the BEST! I started taking the child I nanny there for haircuts and eventually brought my own daughter. She wanted a shorter cut for back to school (I was nervous for this lol). She is mixed and has gorgeous thick hair. I knew Jess was good with this type of hair after chatting about her background. Jess made her excited about going back to school with her shaggy, cool new cut! Plus… while my daughter was getting her haircut, they gave us beer while we played chess. 5 stars.

I have an annual membership for unlimited upgraded hair cuts, but they are always booked out a day or two so you can almost never get a same day appointment. Then when you can get a same day appointment is for the basic cut only let alone the upgrade service I paid for pr any of the other services like a shave. That staff is great but the place has been under staffed for the last 6+ months based on my experience. If I knew then what I know now I would never get an annual membership for the woodlands location.

When The Woodlands Boardroom manages to operate as if it is managed at all, my results with Kay are ALWAYS great. However, the business uses a computer-driven scheduling system that most of the users are not properly trained with. As a a result, I am continually "re-scheduled" without my advance warning, or, just completely dropped from their system in spite of my attempts to hold personnel accountable for these maddening errors. NO ONE (however) has EVER admitted to making a mistake on the system. Beware!

Never had a better haircut from Kimberly, or Kim or K. She apparently goes by all three. Anyway, give her a raise. She was great

This is a great place to get a haircut and has good service. The location is excellent next to the HEB and near market street and the inside of the boardroom is well furnished with leather sitting and floors and walls are hard wood. This place gives a fancy feeling when you walk in and till you leave.
This place in my opinion is expensive and you over pay. I got a haircut, hair washed, massage, and hair styled for $65 not including tip. It was a great experience but this is not what I normally do when going in to get a haircut. When getting my haircut, it was in a large room with no spacers between people, so it was really loud inside making it difficult to talk with my stylist.
Overall, I enjoyed my time here but I would not come again because of how expensive it was, and there was nothing here that made it seem worth it to me or that blew me away. 18 l 8 Salon is another fancy place in town that is slightly cheaper that offers the same services, and it is more personal with individual haircut areas. I would recommend going there if you still want a great haircut, a fancy environment and save a few bucks.

Scheduled an appointment for a haircut and ran into some traffic I called ahead and let them know I’d be there 10 minutes late, the lady on the phone assured me it was alright but I would have to miss the shampooing I said that’s fine I can miss that part as long as I get my haircut. But when I arrive at the time I stated they then tell me that they can’t even do that, and that I’ll have to come at a later time. What’s the point of telling me all I would still get my haircut when in reality they wouldn’t even be able to take me in at all. Waste of a drive.

This place is amazing they do a great job. If you want to get the best haircut in town I recommend Savana she is awesome!
