Bob Jones Nature Center and Preserve reviews
6My son went to summer camp here and absolutely loved it! The staff was awesome!
Really like this place, although I always seem to go when it's baking hot. Nice trail around the lake, but a bit of a hike to get there from the Nature Center. Never seems to get too crowded and there's plenty of parking. No cost when I went.
The Bob Jones Nature Preserve is the ultimate hiking place where you will get to experience long, beautiful nature trails with an abundance of big trees, as well as stumbling upon Grapevine Lake itself while you are on your hikes.
Near the nature center and the western end of the preserve, you will on occasion get to see deer roaming around, especially during the spring and summer. There is also a botanical garden beside the nature center.
For those who love horses, you can actually see them grazing by behind the rails across the parking lot.
You will enjoy this gem of a place if you love nature!
Absolutely loved this hike! There was a cool tree swing at about halfway through. Horses and pets are allowed on the trail. So, if piles of poo in the middle of the trail are not your thing, this is not the trail for you. As for me and my husband, we had a super fun hike!
Went for the birding. Great hiking trails. Trails are marked. Really peaceful place. Good for photography also.
Phenomenal area for a mid-day adventure. Most of the walk is stroller friendly. Kid friendly, just make sure the stay on the trail.
