Great park… usually go to the Dog park with my lab. Clean and always fun with local neighbors. My dog enjoys the experience. Also has plenty of trials for the hiking enthusiasts.

Bob Jones Park is a hidden gem in Southlake that showcases the more rural side of the city. In addition to being a huge park with multiple soccer fields, picnic tables, and a huge fountain pond with a pavilion, it also has an equestrian trail where you can view horses from time to time.

You will spot a lot of Canadian geese roaming around the pond, and it is just perfect for a photograph.

If you hike on the nature trails, it will eventually lead you to Bob Jones Nature Preserve.

Highly recommended!

Super playground. It is a nice walk around the pond. Great place to enjoy the sunset on a fall evening.

A very beautiful park with plenty of space and activities for everyone. My kids and I definitely enjoyed it. I definitely recommend this park for anyone wanting to relax and enjoy the great outdoors!

Overall, the park itself is beautiful. If you have small children who love playgrounds, they have a very nice one here. I primarily visited the park for the 1st time, because I really wanted to fish. I fish for Bass everywhere, and I fish for them every opportunity I get. Yet even though I walked around this nice sized pond several times, and probably made over 500 cast, I did not get anything at all, not even a love tap on any lure I through. Whether they stock the pond, I have no clue. The temperature was 87 degrees that day, so any Bass in this pond should have been active. Have any of you caught Bass out there?
