Bobby V's Sports Gallery Cafe, Arlington TX

Unfortunately this place didn't meet the mark last night. My partner and I went for dinner and it was WAY less than satisfying. The burgers used to be good.now they're made with frozen patties and it's terrible. The chicken sandwich my partner got had a huge chunk of bone in it. Like could have caused dental issues. He asked for grilled jalapeños.had a whole conversation about it with the waiter that he didn't want grilled peppers, he wanted grilled jalapeños and it came with peppers. The waiter laughed and said my bad, that was my fault, I put peppers not jalapeños.then proceeded to charge us for them. Our app, which was put in late and said it'll be 5 more minutes took over 30 minutes.

None of this is how it used to be. I'm so sad because I've been coming here since I was 10.

Services sucked. The waiter didn’t know the prices of any alcohol. Couldn’t get refills on water. We waited 45 minutes to order our meals even then we had to find him and call him over. Just bad service.

We typically have good food and good service. This time was much different. Service was slow and it wasn't busy. It took our waiter about 10 minutes to come take our drink order after we were sat. I had to then ask if we could get our drinks. 2 of the meals came with salad and I had to walk up to the hostess desk and ask if we can get our salads (the waiter never asked about dressing so I am guessing he must've forgot about salads). When she (the hostess) brought our salads she apologized and said they were "busy in the bar". Two people in our party had ordered mashed potatoes as one of their sides. Had we known that they were instant potatoes, we would've ordered a different side. We were disappointed this visit but we will try again because in previous visits, it wasn't disappointing and we will hold out hope that next time is a better experience.

Poutine is a no. I feel like the type of fries you're using conflicts with the gravy. Classic Burger was delicious. Sweet tea was awful. Waiter was great. I think the place could use some updating. Just looks old and dusty on the inside.

Loved this place best cheese stick I have ever had! I came from Springfield Illinois to see my boyfriend and this was our first date:) I will always have amazing memories from this place

Great place! It's been around for decades and has always been good but it is even better now! Great food selection and great service! The Dimaggio Sticks are a favorite of ours!

Their staff is amazing they have great food there and they have wrestling ring in the middle of it go check them out they are incredible

Great local spot and a nice place to watch the game. The Irish nachos are great and the drink were surprisingly cheap. Amazing service at the bar

The food was great. The drinks were cheap. The atmosphere was nice. The only issue was the barstools. I'm 6'1 and even with my long legs, I just couldn't quite get a comfortable position

Went there last night and had to wait an hour for strak fajitas meanwhile everyone at my table had gotten their food. A friend had showed up 30 minutes after us and had ordered her food and got her food before my fajitas. So now I've been waiting an hour for food. Before that the table had ordered some margaritas and I had ordered a sweet tea. Everyone gets their margaritas and I still don't have my sweet tea. It took a whole hour for me to get a sweet tea! Their excuse was the kitchen was behind but if that was the case how come someone who shows up 30 minutes after me gets their meal and their drinks. I asked for food 4 times and asked for my sweet tea 5 times. I sat their for 2 hours with no food or drink ordered being completed. The manager was aware of the situation and was rude about the entire situation.

I will not be recommending this place or visiting this establishment again.

It's an older ARLINGTON staple with lots of sports memorabilia, lots of screens for all types of sports fans, really good food and reasonably priced drinks, in a smaller environment a few minutes from the mall and just off I-20 and Bowen for easy access. We ordered the appetizer platter (? Final 4?) and it was very shareable. They really do have the best fried cheese in town and huge chicken tenders etc. I often order the California chicken with salad and broccoli which is a healthy choice, and a huge portion with enough for a meal to go! (They have a separate bar area which I've never been into, but seems to also stay busy.)

A staple to come in and visit on this side of town. Great atmosphere and top notch service. The food was amazing and the beer was ice cold. Felt very welcomed here and will be looking forward to my next visit.

FYI Country Fried Steak was on point

Recently, all new management has been brought in and the difference is tremendous. Bruce, Charlie and Nick have really turned this place around. We are so glad to see the place get back to being a great place to have a meal with your family, catch a game, or socialize with the locals. We love having a neighborhood restaurant that feels like a home away from home

I've frequented Bobby's since for over 20 years now. Always consistent and professional. Menu is updated from time to time, and the food is hot and really good. Nice place to take the fam. Sit in the boxing ring, it fun!

I only gave it 5 stars because that’s all it would, great place, expecially for sports games. Bring the family and sit in the ring or have a girls night in the bar. The service is great they really make you feel right at home! My favorite place, they spoiled me with their BLACKEND chicken, I don’t even want chicken from somewhere else!

So happy to see Bobby’s Vs revitalizing and coming back like the old days. There’s food is awesome, they have weekday drink specials. Kid friendly. Kids ear free every Monday with an adult entree.
