Braeburn Colony Apartments / La Carmona, Houston TX

I feel safe! I feel secure! I feel heard! I don't feel ignored! I've been living in this community for almost 10 years. There's a a bike trial right up the way! There's a gym! When/if anything needs to be repaired maintenance is on it!

My car was towed up from the apartment twice one from visitor parking which they said one tire was on the white lane that’s totally make no sense but that was during previous management. But very recently in new management, my clothes has been stolen from the laundry but I reported to the police and to office to look for the camera because there’s a camera inside the laundry but the lady’s (her name is Jennifer) in the office told me that we didn’t see anything but before that she wasn’t happy even to look for the video in the computer and she’s totally rude when she’s talking through phone as well as in person. Now I’m not confident to leave my for a long period of time because I’m traveling a lot so I’m feeling not safe. They didn’t even tried to find my clothes. I am pretty sure they knew who took my clothes because the camera is there. I’m so disappointed. By the way I’m living here since 2017.

The lights have been out for over 48 hours and it’s NOT a Center Point Energy problem. Then They want to go up on the rent but this is what they want to provide the residents.

Honestly before new management took over this property deserved 5 Stars. I have called this place my home for three years in April, never have i ever had a problem with vehicle parking permits, fees, or just assistance in the office. I have yet to see the new owner in person or receive a call back. My vehicle was towed Nov. 2019 in my parking space due to new parking policies. Manager claimed there was a email and notice on the door sent out as a reminder. Property advised security to call towing upon enforcement. Property did not give everyone a decent time frame to change the issue. Other upset tenants along with myself was not reimbursed under their expense causing this issue. Instead manager insisted that the only resolution would be to replace the carpet with new tile flooring in my unit. This place is a joke, i recently visited the office to get assistance and DINA is very rude furthermore with management backing her up. In conclusion my experience was horrible towards the end as i reside from this community.

The apartments were built in 1965 and have not been updated since then. The roaches are everywhere they charge you for pest control but the staff can't tell you what chemicals they used. The staff in the office won't live there but they will quickly tell you how good it is at Braeburn. Visitor parking is a joke.

The apartments look good. So far I like them. I like that they assign you one parking space. The only thing that sucks is the visitors parking they are full all the time by people who don't ever move their car, cars in the same spot for months. So if you actually have visitors you won't find a space for them to park. I guess if the apartments would have a control of how many cars each tenant is allow to have, it could be better.

The apartments look nice, but the maintenance are terrible and the manager always walks of bad character does not know how to treat the tenants. In my apartment come a lot of insects, especially spiders and cockroaches big those leave in the bathroom and I do not know what to do and the office well Thanks. Think twice before moving to these apartments

Mrs. Claudia Lemus was very nice the apt I'm getting is ready and nice, about roaches i would be getting my own equipment to take care of roaches!

Roach infested.no maintenance repair what so ever.extremely high crime rate.vandalism.break ins.theft.etc.very unhappy here and very unsafe here.my vehicle windows have been busted out.my front living room windows have been shattered by passerbyers.my front door has been kicked in.my home has been broken into twice resulting in all of my electronics being stolen. I don't care I am breaking my lease and getting the heck from over here!

The lady she's in the office so rude and angry when she talks. Park it's sucks.the water of the shower always up and down.

I been living in thid apartments for 8 yenes. Torre is no maintaince at all, infested with bugs managment disrespectful

The lady's at the office are rude and very unfriendly. I don't feel safe my car has been broken into twice and also been stolen from the premises.when I told the manager (Maggie) she said that's y we have insurance very unpleasant experience living here. I can't wait till my lease is over this people need to be train in helping their tenants. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL!

Love it! I had more than 3 years living on breaburn colony never had a bad experince.
I truely recommend this apt great living and never had a bad taste of ugly animal like spiders or cockraches. I would say people that I love my parking lot because its private. The parkings are really clean and quit.

Guest parking is pretty bad but if you're a resident you shouldn't have problems *most* nights. The place also kept clean and fairly quiet.

Rent conveniently goes up without notice and with very little improvement to show for it.
