Brakes Plus, Little Elm TX

I will not be returning to Breaks Plus.

I have been coming here for years, with multiple cars, and even recommended family to go there because they were helpful, nice, and beat the prices of many other local car shops. Here's a little history with my car and why I won't be returning:

- 5/8/23: I get my brakes and rotors changed, and I have a warranty on them.

- 6/16/23: I noticed my car drifting to the right pretty badly. I took it in for an alignment, and they suggested I get a camber bolt kit to fix the drifting. I did both the alignment and the kit install.

- I left, and my car was still drifting to the right, not as bad but still drifting. I decided not to go back because I 1) didn't have time and 2) it was better than before.

- 8/14/23: My brakes are squeaking, so I went in for a free brake check. I mentioned the previous service and how my car was still drifting. They said, because I was on warranty, they could give me a free alignment.

- I left, and with still no success, my car still drifts. I'm fed up at this point but didn't want to complain because I was grateful for the free service they provided.

- 11/13/23: I went in for an alignment. I get a call after dropping off my car saying that they can align the front but can't do an alignment on my back because "it looked like someone went in and stripped everything. " Mind you, the last people to touch my car for an alignment was Breaks Plus. Confused, I asked what I could do to fix this. They recommended a new axle, which was not going to happen. So I asked for the front to be aligned. I go back to wait for my car, and then at the counter, I am told that they can't even align the front because I needed new tie rods and recommended me to get new ones for each tire. I declined due to funding.

I took my car to a family mechanic, and he told me that:
1. I didn't need new tie rods.
2. My back tires aren't even adjustable.
3. He doesn't even know why I would be recommended these repairs because they weren't needed.

This place is just upselling parts, and who knows how many cars they're jacking up. I'm definitely not going back after being lied to.

The team was awesome and very helpful! I highly recommend coming to this location every time!

I went to Brakes Plus in Little Elm to replace my pads and resurface my rotors.
I scheduled an 2pm appointment on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and they were able to get my car in right away. Everyone is super nice and I will be back to this location!

I recently switched to this brakes plus location after I moved to the Frisco/little elm area. My car required extensive service with many parts to buy but because brakes plus had my records for the last ten years for that car (even though they were from a different location) they were able to save me over $1000! They took the time to look up every part that I needed and checked to see if I had a lifetime warranty on that part from replacing it years ago. It was intensive work but they did it without me even asking! They are very fair, easy to work with and obviously value integrity. They have my business for years to come!

This shop ALWAYS takes good care of our family! With a Military kid who seems to always need maintenance when he’s home- and a quick turn around- these guys do NOT disappoint! Highly recommend!

I am always treated well at the Little Elm Brakes Plus. They take care of my Explorer's alignment issues.

So helpful I can’t afford the rotor replacement right now but they were willing to work with me and replace brakes right now so that I’d be safe. Great place very helpful!

Good, honest service. Was there a few years ago when inspection place said I needed new front brakes. I visually didn't think I needed new ones but went here to have them looked at. They said brakes were fine and could go a few more years but since i was there, I went ahead and changed the brake fluid since it's been a while. Well, about 5 years later the dealership said I need new brakes so I'm going back there. Hopefully it's the same good honest team.
