Braum's Ice Cream & Dairy Store, Van Alstyne TX

When the van Alstyne store first open it was a great store. Unfortunately lately it has really gone down hill. The produce isn’t as fresh as it used to be. I notice when at the food counter there is always water leaks around the shake machine. Their ice machine has been broken for months now and they can’t sell ice anymore. Before no one wanted to even make up the bags. Customer service not so good. When “Mr. Braums” was due for a visit a couple months ago they whipped in shape for him, now it is back where it was. Sad management can’t fix such small issues.

Food was great, did make a mistake and forgot the bacon on a bacon burger but fixed it immediately without question and made a fresh burger, but I well say the limeade is much to be desired from this location.

Advertise a combo at one price but it’s another price when you get to the register. This is something I’ve noticed a lot of the Braums locations doing. They add. 10-. 30 to the price of various items which adds up over time and volume. This particular one doesn’t have great food quality, it’s often sloppy or presented in a messy way. Take some time to focus on preparation.

The ice cream is always really, really good and at an amazing price, I was able to take myself, my daughter-in-law and my grandchildren for ice cream and only spent $9.00 for all of us. The service however, isn't always that great. I think it is just very young kids that work there and they don't quite know what customer service is.

Delicious ice cream and fast food store, you can choose what the flavour you want and they have a fresh market too, its nice place.

Might as well just close the Van Alstyne store. They are always out of what I need including milk sometimes. If I have to go two Braums stores to get everything I need I might as well just skip this run down old store.

I asked for bbq sauce and braums sauce in the drive thru, reminded them at the pay window, reminded them at the second window before they asked me to pull up and wait for my food. Then asked the assistant manager if she put them in there and she said yes. Get home and guess what no sauce lol. I call and ask to speak with the manager and they hang up the phone lol 7 things of fries no sauce. Thanks

Very disappointed in this location it used to be so good. Unfortunately we went today and they were sloppy. My husband's shake wasn't wiped off and just and handed ice cream dripping off it and all. My daughter's shake was pure water and poorly made. My shake thank goodness he heard me the second cause he almost made it a cone only had to repeat myself a couple of times. Just absolutely horrible experience. Everyone has rough days but dam seriously 3 different shakes and they all turned out horrible. Get it together

I go by Braum's for a variety of items a few times a month. I confidently say that whenever ice is on my list, they almost never have any. I would put the percentage at less than 10% of my visits for ice, do they actually have ice. It's a bag of ice, it doesn't require a significant amount of time for an employee to fill one bag. One visit earlier this week, no ice. One stop today no ice. My wife calls to to a manger, I make a return visit a few hours later and still no ice. The employee tells me that he is the only person working maket, so he cannot get me a bag of ice. How long does it take to run to the back and pour a bag of ice? REALLY? You can expect more 1 star reviews from me, because Braum's can't solve a simple ice issue.

Whooahhhh! The food was awesomeness. Must try and eat the Nacho Burger. Yummm. And a bonus you can get yogurt, not fries, as a side. How kewl is that.yummmm.

Stop by this location at least once a week. Their market inside is actually pretty useful. I've gotten my eggs, lettuce, and tortillas here exclusively for a few years now. Sometimes service is slow and backed up since it can get busy and a lot of times you've got a bunch of high school workers there at the same time but overall it's a decent place.
