Me Myself And I

What they did to me was very grimy. I had an appointment 09/07/2022 at 1: 30 pm. During that meeting they claimed if you didn't have something they needed, you would have a chance to bring it in. Keep that in mind. When I got called up they claimed they needed a form from the Social Security office. I gave them what I had showing I was not getting social security. Barbara Burns said that wasn't acceptable because they wanted the actual date I stop getting my payments. I then signed in to my ssa account and showed her there I wasn't getting social security. She had me take a screenshot and email it to her. I emailed it to her twice because the first one was too small. I did it right in front of her, even gave her my phone so she can tell me what to send her. Afterwards she gave me my voucher. I went and gave it to my apartment manager. 3 weeks later on on Oct. 21 after not getting a return call from Esther Medina, I went up there. Thats when I found out that I was denied. Esther told me they had to include the social security as my income because I didn't provide a letter from social security. It amazes me how these people are soooo lazy and unprofessional because they could've told me on Sept 7 to go to the social security office and bring back the letter they needed. It would've took a simple phone call saying, "Hey we know we told you that her screenshot would work but we need you to actually bring up a paper showing you're not receiving social security. " They didn't do that though because they know what they were doing. Esther told me I could appeal and two days later I turned in the paper they needed. After that again I tried getting in contact with Esther Medina. Even called and left a message for Harold who is supposed to be her manager. Neither one of them returned my call because that's how they do their job. No professionalism, no accountability because they know they have no one that is going to require them to do their job. I went out of town for 2 weeks. When I came back and checked my mail I seen I had a letter from the Choice Voucher program Lilly stating I had a appointment that morning. I didn't get the letter until 4: 30 pm. I called right away. Telling her that Esther or Harold could've easily returned my phone call since I left them a message stating I was checking for the update. The conclusion Lilly told me she's following the rules. I missed my appeal and I can get back on the list. As you can see these folks work for a program that they obviously have a problem with it helping people. Cause they do nothing to actually help anyone.

I have only been here a year and have had 5 or 6 different workers now. Communication is awful, calls are rarely returned, emails unanswered, questions unanswered, no help with landlord issues. The only person who had excellent communication skills and was on her stuff was Tameika Ray. If I could give her gold stars, she would have 10 and a scratch n' sniff sticker.

Wow this place is full of complete and utter nepotism. The only way you will not face homelessness dealing with people two weeks behind on inspection sheets and 79 requests to submit is reaching out to the EEOC.
