Briargrove Animal Clinic, Houston TX

Been taking our two westies to Dr. Kurtz here for a while even though we live ~25 minutes away in the Heights.

They provide great care, honest and direct communication (which I really appreciate) and reasonable prices.

I’ve taken a few animals here over the years. Back when it was a smaller establishment, and now when they’ve done a complete ground up remodel. It’s a fantastic facility, with amazing and caring vets, techs, and everyone else. They also don’t break your bank account, as their fees are very competitive. I reall can’t say enough about them.

If you live in this area, or even don’t mind the drive from wherever, be sure to give them a try. You will be happy with your choice.:)

I’ve brought my baby here for over 5 years. The vets and office staff are great and happy to answer any of your questions.

My vet bill was a huge amount but they couldn’t figure out what was wrong with my dog. Really feel like this place is a ripoff.

This place was amazing. Unfortunately my fur baby didn't make it. But they were kind and attentive to me and my husband. I have no issues with taking my other fur babies here.

Dr. Lee has been wonderful with all my felines. Tigar had reversed eye lashes and she preformed his surgery. Dr. Lee is through and compassionate to the situation. Many of my friends now use Briargrove Animal Clinic and are very happy.

We always have an amazing experience at Briargrove. Our pets, mahogany and dogo are always well taken care of. They answer all my questions and make me feel comfortable. We will definitely be going here for years to come.

Update: we have been going to this animal clinic for six years now. The staff is always kind and amazing. The few times we’ve had an issue they’ve quickly corrected it. We moved across town and still chose to go here because we feel like they truly love our dog.

One of our dogs was really sick over a year ago while I was pregnant and had to be put down. I had to keep reminding myself to breathe. Dr. Kurtz guided us every step of the way and told us it wasn’t our fault and that we were doing the right thing. She made us feel comfortable taking our time saying goodbye to our baby dog. Her kindness was what got us through that moment. Thank you Dr. Kurtz and staff.

Sherley wasn’t there the day our baby was put down, but upon our next return she asked for him and we could feel that she understood our pain. She always asks for our other dog and how she’s doing. We talk about how big she’s gotten and how much she’s calmed down. Thank you Sherley for alaways being so welcoming.

I brought my 16 year old dog there because he was not feeling well. Dr. Guilloud was so understanding when I did not want to put my dog through a full workup given his age. Dr. Guilloud was willing to examine and treat my dog based on what he saw without making my dog go through all kinds of tests and procedures.

Dr. Guilloud understood my desire to only provide treatment that would keep him comfortable. I cannot see putting my dog through all kinds of tests and procedures given that he is 16.

Dr. Guilloud was very caring, compassionate, and understanding of the situation with my dog.

I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a vet.

Great customer service from start to finish. From the ladies at the front desk. Sherly Ramos was very kind and efficient. She was able to squeeze me into the schedule, I got in and out quickly with no problems since I had no luck with other clinics due to my work schedule. The vets and the rest of the staff was extremely friendly, very kind, and made me feel comfortable and heard all my concerns about my dog. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Dr. Kurtz was willing to stay after 6pm on a Friday to care for our injured dog. She should had easily sent us to a 24hr Vet hospital which would have cost a fortune but she didn't. I also like how they are working through the social distancing!

Love this vet clinic! I have a Great Dane so it’s hard for me to find a vet I trust. Dr. Kurtz has been amazing. She’s treated my dog for everything from allergies to an ear surgery. They are so accommodating to my giant dog and help me bring him in and take us straight to the exam room to avoid any issues with other pets in the waiting room. The receptionist Michelle is always so kind and patient with me whenever I call with questions or need something. Plus they are building a brand new clinic!

We just returned from taking our two cats in for their annual check up and shots. We have always found Dr. Kelley Kurtz and her team to be welcoming and professional, but we wanted to commend them for their ability to maintain this high standard during COVID-19 and social distancing requirements. When we booked the appointment we were informed clearly of the changes (call when arrive, technician will come to car etc), and we were extremely impressed at the teams diligence throughout our visit. Our girls always receive the best treatment here and I would recommend Briargrove to any friends! Thank you from us, and from our fur babies River and Shiny!

Incredibly convenient that we were able to make a weekend visit. Very friendly and knowledgable as well. Got what we needed and left with peace of mind. Reccommend making this your first stop for any animal ailments.

The doctor and assistants were very helpful and conscientious about my budget. They made me feel like they loved my pet as much as I.

I used to be a vet tech, so I am very particular about the care of my pets; also knowledgeable and I know good vet practices. My 2 girls (1 senior cat, 1 adult dog) have been treated by both vets. I appreciate their thoroughness while also trying to keep cost at a minimum. Conveniently located in the Galleria area where I work. They have great hours for drop off before work and picking up after. I recommend this clinic.

The vets here always know how to take great care of my fur babies! They're very thorough with their explanations/diagnosis.

The staff is very friendly. I have been bringing my kitten here for his vaccinations and have been impressed with the knowledge of the veterinarians. Small clinic, but the care my pet receives is personalized and attentive.

I've had experience with all the doctors but mostly Dr Kelley Keurtz. The staff is wonderful and always seem cheery. They're all very knowledgeable and it helped us with our dog and her allergies. From prescribing medications to suggesting diet changes, our French Bulldog is no longer itchy all the time. I highly recommend this location for their customer service, and their expertise.

I took my my Shangai to them 1/24/18. On 1/13 I took him to a Mobil clinic to get his shots. A week later he was ill nand not eating. They said usually cats do sometimes get a little ill 24/36 hours later. That was not my case it was a week! Every person and animal is different! They checked my baby out very gentle. He had a fever I did not know that, and his nosey runny. They said he looks ok. Prescribed antibiotics. Over all they where good. Even called me the next day. Thanks Dr. Lee that meant a lot to me! Also I know my Shangai got sick from those vaccines.
