Great food, service, atmosphere! I also signed up for membership! The best part was when we left out there was a huge duck outside & we felt wrong for eating duck legs. But they were very delicious! & the sauce was very good too!

Food was decent, service experience could have been better. Server got details on our drink orders wrong. Seemed like it was a lack of experience. She was definitely friendly enough, just didn't have that forethought like offering waters. Sounds nitpicky, and I'm not saying it ruined the experience, just wasn't stellar. I got the Southpaw burger, and while it presented well, it seemed like there was no seasoning. Acceptable experience? Yeah. Would I rave about it to a friend? No.

Never again will I eat here. I thought I would be safe ordering chicken n waffles since this was my first time here. How do u mess up chicken n waffles bruhh…waffles cold af…Scotty beam me back to Louisiana plzzzz

The wife and I walked out after not getting any service and the manager just let us know that is Saturday night and they are busy and short staffed. I pointed out the fact that 2 other couples have come and seated and the wait staff had taken their order. The manager explained that was not our server's section. Got up and walked out.

Customer service and employee training needs work. I called to have an order that was placed edited to substitute the green beans for broccoli. Simple enough! The first staff member stated she didn't know how to do that and placed me on hold for roughly 8 mins so she could get her manager. I hung up then called back hoping to get someone else. I did but she didn't know how to update the order either then proceeded to tell me I couldn't make the substitution. That made my skin crawl because I've placed to-go orders from this restaurant on several occasions recently and always request to switch the green beans for broccoli. The staff member then placed me on hold for 5 mins so she could ask a coworker for assistance. She never came back to the phone. Guess who was stuck with a side she didn't want. Smh

I do have to say we went shortly after lunch, but that's no excuse for poor service. I usually give a lot of leeway in this area. The staff spent much time talking to each other or taking to two (regulars or friends?) instead of greeting us when we sat down.
When my dish came out unlike the menu advertised, the response to my inquiry was met with a poor attitude. The other dish, a flatbread, wasn't bad. I've had much better flatbreads though.

This place has gone down hill fast. I remember when the food was actually good. It all tasted like they dumped a whole bottle of salt on everything. Really it's such a good looking place but the food and service where terrible.

This location is less than a mile from home and has a great patio. That is the ONLY reason I go to this location. When we arrived, there were 4 employees seated, hanging out right near the hostess stand, along with what appeared to be 2 hosts. And from the empty inside and half full bar and empty patio, you'd think we'd have received quick, efficient service. Not even close. Rarely have I ever received a bar beverage in less than 10 minutes. I know I have never received an "ice cold beer" here, so much so I've started ordering 2 at a time. In fact, we were about to walk out again last night after waiting for drinks for so long that I was sure either the server forgot to put them in or. Neither. The server did put the order in, it's just the bartender enjoys putting on a show and "doing it all herself". The food is better than the service and that is below average at best. Chicken and waffles were decent, my daughter ordered every time. My nachos were piled high and overly excessive. But for $18 nachos, I guess that's to be expected. I have never once seen a manager to even speak to about concerns. It appears a young adult must be managing and hired all their friends.

First time to visit. We sat inside so I look forward to going back as their patio with fire pit, and pass-through bar, looked great. The service was very good and the food and drinks, although not better than other similar restaurants, was good enough to return. I would recommend trying them out.

Update April 2022: We have visited Brick House a few times since it opened and up until last night was generally happy with it. However, last night was as major exception. We met another couple for a pleasant evening on the patio, and the place has a great outside area. However, other than the ambience the rest was a mess. The drinks were watery (even those we ordered outside of happy hour times), the service was extremely slow and dragged out (both kitchen and bar.and the place was not that busy), and our food came out tepid. Two of us had the fish-and-chips, which should arrive at the table with a couple of minutes of cooking, but the fish was just barely warm and the fries were limp. It will likely be some time before I return as I will consider other outdoor venues ahead of them next time.

Last time I was here it was before the Landry’s takeover. Vowed not to go back because of fly’s and mosquitoes. Also die to the the fact the staff were all congregated in the corner just doing their own thing while not paying attention to the paying customers. That was years ago. Today, there’s a serious mosquito and fly problem. I was not at least 5 times. We were constantly swatting away these critters. So make sure you bring a battery operated fan for your table. The food was pretty good. Our server, Jeremy, was very attentive but busy. While a majority of the staff were all sitting in the corner, again, not attending to paying customers. Must be the same staff. Unfortunately, will not go back again! Will continue to frequent Saltgrass. The staff at BrickHouse should observe one day at Saltgrass. Apples and oranges!

We had a large group and they were accommodating. Besides one order of wings, that I'm aware of, being given to the wrong table, our service made sure we got what we ordered. Other than being attacked by the junebugs, lol; we had a nice time.

Our server suggested the tavern wings and they were amazing! His service was top notch today along with the manager who checked on us multiple times. Their chef, German, makes the most amazing tavern sauce for their wings! Definitely will be visiting again!

Went in and tried to order the Cuban with no mayo. I was told the sandwiches are all pre-mad with mayo already on them. Rather than offer to make one fresh or just change out the bread to fresh bread with no mayonnaise, the manager explained it by comparing their food to the premise sandwiches you buy at a grocery store. “It’s like those pre made sandwiches at the grocery store that have mayo on them and they are good for days. ” Be careful what you order, you don’t know when it was actually made, but definitely not cooked to order. Besides that, my 10 year old daughter got the kids burger. It was two small burgers, which would be fine, but the meat was so thin and over cooked that it was crunchy. We ordered her a regular burger and told them they could take the others back to the kitchen. Never once asked what was wrong with it, why there was only one bite taken or why we ordered our daughter a completely separate meal.

Just a disappointing visit when you can’t get a sandwich without mayo because they are pre made god knows how long ago down to the condiments and then the manager compares their food to a pre made grocery store sandwich. Seems he holds the quality of their food in high esteem.

What happened to service with a smile? The server and hostess looked like they hated their jobs and didn’t want to work. We were seated quickly and the food was decent but for the price you pay for small portions was not worth it at all.

There was a cocktail that I had and it was really great. I actually also enjoyed the appetizer wings. I had a burger and fries. They were okay. Nothing to write home about. The waitress was the best. Very nice lady. Cozy atmosphere. I would eat there again, but just the wings and a drink.

Never been there before.but why? So wonderful and the fireplace was my happy place! Went with my best friend.our waiter Jeremy was so freaken sweet and accommodating. Food was great and filling.loved it will go back.

Decided to try happy hour. Drinks were great, food even better. Tried the shrimp nachos. Thought the serving size would be small but actually was huge and very filling. Great flavor. Definitely will be back.

Food- meh. I ordered a salad with shrimp and the shrimp tasted like shrimp jerky drenched in a gallon of salad dressing. It was so bad I actually sent it back. It was replaced with a burger which wasn’t bad. But I normally don’t eat burgers.
I would go with the burgers, wings, tenders, etc.if you go here. Skip the healthy stuff or you may be disappointed. Happy hour drinks were weak in my opinion but the ambiance is pretty cool.
