Extremely Disappointing Experience

I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting Brident for a cleaning appointment, and I must say that it was one of the most disappointing and frustrating experiences I've had with a dental practice. While I believe in providing constructive feedback, I cannot overlook the series of mishaps and unprofessional behavior that I encountered.

To begin with, I scheduled a cleaning appointment as a new patient, expecting a smooth and efficient process. However, upon arriving at the office, I was informed that I needed to have X-rays done, despite no prior notification. It was quite disconcerting that the office took their sweet time to contact me in the first place, and then the X-rays had to be retaken because the staff member performing them lacked the necessary expertise.

Once the X-rays were finally taken, I patiently waited for the doctor to review them and proceed with the cleaning. However, the doctor took an unusually long time to examine the X-rays and did not bother to conduct the cleaning at all. This lack of attention and professionalism was extremely disheartening and left me feeling neglected as a patient.

Adding to the frustration, I had to leave the office without receiving the cleaning I had scheduled because of how long I had to wait and had to reschedule my appointment for two weeks later. This rescheduling inconvenienced me greatly, as I had made special arrangements and taken time off in the morning to accommodate the original appointment time.

On the rescheduled day, I arrived promptly at 9 am, eager to finally have my cleaning done. However, my hopes were shattered when I overheard one of the receptionists talking on the phone about rescheduling the 9 am cleaning appointment, unaware that it was mine and that I heard my name. This lack of attention to detail and communication within the office staff was concerning.

The other receptionist then attempted to check me in but claimed that I wasn't on the schedule. She offered to squeeze me in if I gave her an additional 10 minutes, even though I had a reminder card from the office with the exact date and time. Reluctantly, I agreed to wait for 10 minutes, hoping that this time things would proceed as planned.

Unfortunately, even after waiting patiently, I had to approach the receptionist again and inquire about the status of my cleaning. Shockingly, her response was, "the doctor is not here" and if I was willing to wait another 5 to 10 minutes she could maybe do my cleaning. This dismissive and unapologetic attitude towards my time and the inconvenience caused was utterly disrespectful.

I couldn't help but express my disappointment, informing the receptionist that all this time I was aware of the rescheduling of my appointment as I was walking into the office. The entire experience left me feeling disrespected and undervalued as a patient.

In conclusion, my visit to Brident was undoubtedly the worst dental experience I have ever had. The lack of communication, the mishandling of appointments, and the overall disrespect shown towards me as a patient were completely unacceptable. I sincerely hope that the management of the practice takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements to ensure that other patients do not have to endure a similar ordeal.

I was just plain nervous but I needed to go especially since I have dental implants and I have gum issues. The doctor recommended deep cleaning in several places where the implants are and other spots. I'll see how the deep cleanings go. I hope.

Very satisfied my mother has dementia, they were very understanding and patient. She has more work to be done but the overall experience was great.

Had a really bad experience here both times I went (had to go twice for the first and second halves of a deep cleaning), I can't speak for other dentists here but Dr. Ali, who treated me both times, is incredibly dismissive and confrontational when asked any question. I dealt with quite a bit of pain the first time and some pain the second time related to numbing, which I'd never had during any other dental appointments including root canals, and she instantly became confrontational when I questioned her about it and told me that she's certified to do this and does it all the time.kept interrupting me, wouldn't let me finish my sentences, ridiculously unprofessional to act like that when someone's telling you that they're experiencing abnormal pain while you're treating them. Scheduling and trying to get any info from the office was also a nightmare about 80% of the time, so I'd go elsewhere regardless

Second time I’ve scheduled through the call center and was miss scheduled. This time was for an emergency appointment to get a broken bracket looked at for me to be told I was scheduled with a general dentist and now have to wait four days until Tuesday to look at it. I’ve been thousands of dollars here and will not be recommending any family or friends here. I’m extremely disappointed and upset I have to deal with a broken bracket for so long.

Worst dental office ever! Repeatedly come here and never seen at my appointment time. Today I had an appointment at 11am for a cleaning for my son. After waiting 20 minutes they come out to tell me that only dental exams were scheduled for my appointment when I know that I specifically made the appointment for the cleaning. Since when is getting an xray taken a separate appointment from the cleaning? Every other dental office I've been to has done it on the same visit. You take x-rays/have an exam and then the cleaning. This place is a complete joke! No sense of urgency in getting the customer in and out and a complete waste of time this morning! On top of this the wait here is beyond slow! Last year i waited 90 minutes just for my son to be seen! They have lost my business. Today was the last straw. I will go somewhere else!

My experience with Brident Dental has been nothing short of awful. The first time I made an appointment, I showed up and they told me they didn’t take my insurance at that location, and I needed to make an appointment at the other location. I did, and showed up. My appointment was at 4 pm and they said I wouldn’t be seen until at least 5: 30 pm due to “short staff. ” I had a meeting at 6, which should have been fine, since I had an APPOINTMENT at 4. Anyways, I rescheduled, and came back 3 weeks later at 8 am on a Saturday. The second I arrive, the office called me at the exact time of my appointment only to tell me the doctor had to cancel. After these three chances, I wanted to give up, but I rescheduled and came back a 4th time. When I arrived, after waiting half an hour, they told me they didn’t take my insurance and that I needed to go to the other one (which had also denied me.)

Long story short, DO NOT go to Brident Dental. They are disorganized, chaotic, unprofessional, and not reliable. They don’t make appointments based on the staff they actually have and then offer no sympathy or help when your appointment is not fulfilled. Don’t come here. It will be a waste of your time. I came here because I was told they took my insurance, but after two months of back and forth, they still don’t. I will happily go anywhere else and just pay the $60 for a cleaning if I have to. I have never in my life seen this bad of customer service at any doctor or dentist. I will beg my insurance to send me elsewhere, because I will definitely never come back.

This place is an old Wendy's. That part alone should tell you to RUN.

IT IS GHETTO!

Jesse Martinez who is the "Business Manager" is rude, dismissive, and disrespectful.

I was originally referred from their 290 locations. They had no records or information despite me, my insurance, and the 290 location sending over the paperwork 3 times.

This location called me directly to schedule me a specific appointment, called twice to confirm the appointment, and after I got all the way there canceled my appointment saying they won't treat me.

Jesse himself said that he would of been the one to handle this and when I said thay i and my insurance spoke to a woman who called me directly to follow up he said "there is no way" despite admitting that there is a woman who also handles scheduling.

All of this seems like they were trying to scam my insurance into doing duplicate exams so they can collect the cost without actually initiating treatment.

Decent dentist, but ever since brident took over, when I get to the office they have no record of my appointment.

Just flat out terrible customer service, not to mention they asked repeatedly if I wanted to book an appointment for other people, which is nuts - I'm calling to book for myself!

The staff is not attentive, it is the most traumatic place where I have been, they have ruined my teeth, please go to another place where if they care about my health I have been anxious for a week thanks to them now I have to find someone to fix their bad work that they did to me They don't care about the health of your teeth, they just want your money. I regret so much going in there

I am only giving 4 stars because talking to the call center and making an appointment is not the same as showing up to the clinic. I needed to see an oral surgeon and was told by the call center I HAD to come in for a consultation first. When I arrived at the clinic for the consultation they said it wasn't necessary to have come in, but they would put me on the schedule for the oral surgeon. Since I was there I went ahead and filled out all the paperwork and did the xray ahead of time. The staff and technician were very nice and helpful. The call center was nice and professional, but I wish they were more knowledgeable.

Today I am giving 5 stars for Dr. Wong and the N Lamar location. Dr. Wong was my oral surgeon and I've never felt more at ease and trusted a dental professional since him. I am disabled with several health issues. He is definitely a patient advocate and it made all the difference in the world for me keeping calm. I had an extraction and the groundwork for an implant. Two things which sound scary. The extraction was a breeze. The hardest part of the implant groundwork was keeping my mouth open and time. Again, no big deal. I highly recommend Dr. Wong (who was standing in for the original oral surgeon) and the entire Brident dental clinic team on N Lamar! Thank you from a very grateful patient!

My Dental appointment today was very nice. My dentist made impressions on top and bottom and told me they should be back in about 3 weeks. I must say I was happy to hear this news.
