Brook Mays Music Store in Arlington, Texas, is the place to go if you need your instrument serviced, want to purchase a new instrument, or purchase some item for your instrument needs. I just started playing a few string instruments, and I have to say the service that my family and I have received at Brook Mays is honest and top notch. I would recommend this store to anyone the sales personnel and the technical personnel are all great and honest all the time. This stores personnel can help you will all of your instrument needs. February 15,2020

I bought a Suzuki Q-Chord via Ebay, and, someone at Brook Mays has spent the money, but I haven't received the electronic instrument as of February 15,2020; order date was before January 1,2020.

Brook Mays said they were sending the instrument. It's been over a month and a half and no product or communication from Brook Mays.

I don't know what to do as of this date. I didn't get a refund and giving $270.00 to Brook Mays for nothing is just ludicrous. I expect that I will get a standard answer from them (as seen in the reviews) which includes a statement about contacting them if there is anything they can do to ameliorate this negative situation.

I hope Ebay will have more luck with Brook Mays then I have had.

The crew here were so helpful.their knowledgeable staff exceeded my expectations.the level of care and attention to my needs were exemplary.claudia, tony and david are wonderful.i love my new bass!

I ordered three products form Brook Mays on 4/11/2019. Twenty three back and forth emails later and numerous phone calls, I am being told on 9/2/2019 my order has been cancelled. That is almost five months of Brook Mays never initiating contact with their customer. Brook Mays has had my email address and my mobile phone number since the order inception. Never once did Brook Mays initiate any contact with me by email or phone. Their customer service appears to be nonexistent. With this quality of their customer service, I am glad I was not buying an expensive item such as a piano. I will probably never attempt to do business with them again as they seem to not have any integrity.

Working in customer service, you know what to always lookout for. Especially when it comes to employees working in any sort of retail environment.

The staff at this place, mainly the woman working here tonight (11/27/18 @ 5: 50pm) was abismal. Walking in, no one really greeted. The mood was negative and the woman here just gave me a nasty look. Made the whole “interaction” with the staff and my visit feel very awkward.

Definitely won’t be here again.

They do great instrument repair. Staff is always willing to help out and work with directors. The staff is Musically educated, which is a huge plus!

It's ok wish they would refund me on my son's mouth peice because 100.00 bucks is a lot for a single family of 5 kids. Just saying. Cause once they're done with it for school. That money can be used for groceries.

DANNY is AWESOMELY FANTASTIC. Energetic, friendly and most of HELPFUL. Helped us get my 7th grader set up with her new violin. Made it a smooth transaction. Very informative. Will continue to do future business at this location for my 5th and 6th graders. THANKS DANNY!

I wish they were open more hours on the weekends because it is hard to get there afterwork. They have always provided professional service. I purchased my son's violin there for cash 2.5 years ago for a reasonable amount. I have had to get his violin repaired twice during that time without a warranty. Both repairs were due to age and condition of the violin not misuse or abuse and were repairs I have been told are typical of violins. Both times the repairs took longer than the expected time frames. And the person (s) who actually performs the repairs on the violins were never available to discuss the violin at drop off or pick up.

Awesome and great rental prices on instruments plus excellent insurance too! I'd recommend Brook Mays to everyone. Friendly staff, attention to detail, and fast service.

David "Blackie" Graham did a superb job in re-setting up my Double Bass for my playability needs. Craftsmanship and attention to detail is top notch. Excellent Luthiere. Staff is also friendly and knowledgeable. I'll definitely recommend for repairs, set ups, or any other thing you might wish for your fine or not so fine stringed instrument.

David "Blackie" Graham is the only one allowed to work on my Double Basses. I've known him since he used to work for another company about 15 years ago. For a luthier to provide 15 years of quality service and workmanship to the same customer over and again proves what a top notch guy he is. It's a real feather in Brook Mays' Cap to have acquired this guy.
