There isnt words to explain Brookdale! The staff is amazing and will jump at the chance to help anyone.when you walk in the doors there is a sense of calmness in the air, Just the whole environment is amazing and relaxing. And it's nice inside! Everytime I walk in the door I just feel welcome! And my number one thing is smells.it's nothing like the other facilities I have walked into where you smell urine or something awful to where you just wanna walk out.when I walk in I dont smell anything, well except when its meal time, it makes everything better cause it smells so good! I would recommend this facility to anyone who is going to have a fast/amazing recovery, the therapists are always smiling and working so hard to make people better. Thank you Aspen ridge for making mine and so many others experience amazing!

We couldn't have chosen a better care center for our Father. It is a beautiful, clean, and efficient center for those who need tender loving care. The care and respect they showed him was exemplary.

It was quit a stressful task to look for a new senior home for my friend’s grandmother, her current senior home was poorly run and she wasn’t happy and that was on top of all the challenges this past years with COVID, we felt like the move must be done soon. I looked at a few places but the moment I met the team at Brookdale Galleria, I felt at home and knew this was the place for her! Every time I visit I’m greeted by gracious and happy people, I could tell right away that everyone working there is experienced and well trained and above all I get the feeling of coming home to my family which is how I would like to live when I get to that stage.
They go above and beyond to make the tenants feel comfortable and cater to their needs, this is definitely the home for your loved ones, I’m so relieved knowing my friend is in good hands

This facility is top-notch! The administration and staff took excellent care of my father. From the caring and loving atmosphere provided for the residents to the attentiveness to every detail was so apparent to my family. The staff also came along side me and took care of my mother in which she needed rehabilitation also. I would highly recommend this facility for any member of your family and you can feel very comfortable knowing that they are cared for in every aspect of their daily living! Thank you again Brookdale for being part of my family and taking care of my loved ones! You definitely deserve a 5-star!

The house keeping department in this retirement home discriminates their Latino employees who don’t speak English. Bullying takes place from older employees to the new employees and the managing allows it.they disregard any complaint in a way that makes the employee feel like they don’t have a voice. A job where you are supposed to be allowed to submit your availability for work but they don’t follow that they schedule new employees inhumane hours and allow older employees to dump their responsibilities on the new employee.and this is where the bullying takes place for example sabotaging the new employees equipment and finding ways to bully the new employee to think they have to do their work too. This is unacceptable. I’m placing this complain because i have heard a few stories from current employees who are scared to speak up due to the way they make them feel in the work environment. Management in the department allows the older employees to do as the wish in hopes of the new employees quitting. They schedule unreasonable hours and work to the new employee in order for them to quit because they won’t fire the employee for obvious reasons “unemployment” but in order for them to achieve the employee quitting they allow the bullying and discrimination. It’s crazy to think this happens in the states… just under our noses. Located in the middle of Galleria you would think they would have a more professional team who cares about their employees.

It hits different when you see someone you care about go home crying 90% of the time because of this work environment. Due to bullying

Anytime you have someone other then family taking care of a loved one it’s a tuff time. Fortunately I found a second home in Brookdale Galleria. The staff is great, the nurses that we met were excellent. My dad was happy and so was I. When I came back a week later to see my father. Nothing had changed this is a great place for a love one to be cared for.

My uncle has received amazing care from everyone at Brookdale Galleria - it feels like a high end hotel. The dining room staff always treats him like a VIP customer, his Circle of Friends program has improved his memory recall, and he's become happier and more sociable in that group. He loves the outings, the daily routine, the activities and the incredible "pals" who tend to his schedule and needs all day long. I LOVE going there to visit him, and he is always smiling when I see him! THANK YOU to the staff!

A tremendous amount of gratitude to The Administration and
extraordinary staff at Brookdale Galleria. My Mother was transferred from our local Hospital to this facility to recover after surgery. She spent 9 weeks at the facility. She was very happy there. She was treated with the best of care, concern and kindness. The staff was very attentive and took care of all her needs. We were all at ease to know our Mother was in goods hands and well taken care of as she required medical attention. We are forever grateful to all the staff for providing our Mother the great care she needed to recover. I highly recommend this excellent facility if you or your loved one needs a place to recover or personal care. Much thanks and appreciation

I work in the healthcare field and when my grandfather had to be placed in a SNF for rehab I chose Brookdale Galleria for him. The experience could not have been better. Administration, nursing staff, rehab, housekeeping, social services and reception were all amazing. They kept my family informed and everyone we came in contact with was friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this facility if your loved one needs skilled nursing care, they got him walking again and successfully transferred back home. All of the staff was excellent. My family and I are so grateful to everyone there for making his stay comfortable and productive. Thank you Team Brookdale

On this Friday, September 30,2022 I came to Houston, Texas from Atlanta, Georgia to visit a close friend of my family on the 2nd floor.

As I was sitting with my family friend I heard someone screaming and yelling in the hallway. I immediately ran to the door to see what was going on.

My family friend, the patient, was very alarmed so I immediately reassured her to decrease her anxiety.

About an hour later that same employee, who I learned was the evening nurse assigned to my family friend was very RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL as IF she was still angry from the previous transaction in the hallway. I also noted that she had a strong dialect as IF she was an AFRICAN.

We hit the call light for her evening medications and no staff reported to the room for about 30 to 45 minutes. I saw this same nurse standing in the hallway talking on her cell phone using profanity.

This was a very unprofessional experience that really made me really concerned for my family friend's safety because they are elderly and this type of poor healthcare is completely horrifying to think that I could someday be ill and forced to endure such unprofessional care while paying for it.

I will definitely be reporting this to the family because these type of employees should NOT be allowed to take care of our loved ones.

Brookdale Galleria is a HORRIBLE facility where the employees are unruly!

I see that before my post that Brookdale Galleria are currently rated with 3 stars and IF I could give them a ZERO for this HORRIBLE experience then I definitely would.

I see WHY they are currently rated at 3 stars (***) hopefully my review will take the rest of them down.

Please do NOT take your family members or loved ones to this facility.

Why I like working for Brookdale Galleria. One of the reasons why I like working for Brookdale Galleria is because we, as care associates, provide top quality care for all residents through the transition of rehabilitation and senior living. Our residents come first. We are here to make them happy. I am proud to be a team player of Brookdale Galleria.

This place does not have any working phones. When you call the phone line doesn't work. The phones are purposely not connected in patients room.
It's been over a week and you are not allowed to communicate with Brookdale Galleria by phone. One has to go to this location in person.

My wife spent 3 1/2 weeks at Brookdale for needed Physical and Occupational Therapy rehabilitation following an accident in which she broke both her left shoulder and left hip. She received very good care during her stay. Valerie, Natalie, Gilbert and Stephanie were especially helpful during her recovery.
