Brookeland / Lake Sam Rayburn KOA Holiday reviews
14 This is probably one of the best representations of a KOA campground. Awesome place! Especially if you like bass fishing.
Plus they also have horse stalls, If you want to bring your horse, for riding
Very expensive for what it is. Pool is clean and I enjoy it there. Water pressure is low and they way it's laid out could be better.
Had a wonderful visit and great view of the perseid meteor shower. Movie night was very fun. Cabin was clean, linens were cozy at an extra $10, pet friendly. Staff was friendly and helpful. Peaceful morning and it seemed like all the mosquitos were on vacation. I didn't get a single bite. Will be back!
We had an amazing time this weekend. The owner is great as well as the staff. We come every summer and are never disappointed.
Want to thank KOA.your campgrounds are always a warranty of relaxation and fun. We will surely return
We've been here multiple times. Beautiful, clean, quiet and super friendly staff. Will continue going for a long time. Great fishing ponds and everything you need.

Always friendly people. Clean nice place to stay. Have or camper here every summer summer and up every weekend
We're there in my family time of need. Made it easier for us to be together Thank you for everything.
Beds were uncomfortable. Nice place other than that. Would stay again. I know what to take to make the bed better for the stay.
Loved this property! Brought the travel trailer and enjoyed our spot and walking the property! Thanks to Vicki for the great assistance on the sewage line! Maybe paint it bright orange! There are cabin and cottage rentals, a small pond, volleyball, horseshoe, fire pit and kids play area! Do not pass this property! Super quiet and enough spots to not be crowded next to other campers in off peak time! Thanks again for great service!
The Brookeland KOA was an amazing experience! It was our first stay at a KOA and we will definitely be returning soon. There was lots of forest to explore and the ponds are great for fishing and spending time with family! The staff went out of their way to help us!
Nestled in a forest, this KOA is both beautiful and well maintained. Stayed three nights in site 42, a level pull through site with a concrete patio, fire pit, tables and chairs, and a privacy hedge. Sites are staggered, providing privacy for each individual site. Camp property is huge, offering cabins, tent and rv sites for rent, along with a stable for horses, two pools, two playgrounds, fitness center, and trails.
Staff were attentive and helpful, guiding us into our site and providing us with useful information about the camp. Bath house and laundry were both clean. Pool area was well maintained.
Camp is located within easy driving distance to the Sam Rayburn Reservoir and Jasper.
Would stay here again.
I will never stay at a KOA again after this trip. Booked a condo tent. TV don't work, AC don't work, showers was cold water only. For over $100 a night is outrageous. Do not choose this place at all.
