Brookstreet BBQ, Houston TX

First time visiting here. Listen, EVERYTHING we had was ABSOLUTELY delicious. Seasoned to perfection and hella tender. The Brisket and ribs are always my favorite. Sausage is never my go to, BUT, their jalapeño Sausage was AMAZING. I will mos def go back. I wanted more after mine was gone.

This is the only bbq place I've ordered from that forgets the sauce. Only one out of 3 times you've remembered it and I feel stupid for ordering again. Get it together.

I was very very disappointed with this meal. I ordered the 3 meat combo and couldn't believe the small quantity you got for the price. The ribs had no meat on them and were burnt. The brisket was dry and the sausage had no flavor. The only decent thing was the beans and potato casserole. I got the banana pudding also and it tasted like it was from a box instead of made in house. I will never order from here again or go to the actual restaurant.

The food was good, not great. I had the Brisket, Ribs, and jalapeno sausage. I also had Mac n Cheese and beans. Thr Mac delicious, everything else was good not great. The staff seemed almost annoyed I was there and reluctant to help. The atmosphere could be cool, it has nest seating options, and true country (not the pop stuff on the radio) playing, but the vibe from the staff really brings it down.

Best service Crisol, Martha, Miguel! Gave us amazing samples of everything right when they were closing still provided us with incredible attention. Bravo guys!

I just ordered on UberEATS and Jesus 20 bucks for a tiny plate of brisket. Also they forgot the bread. Thanks for the waste of money

I’ve ordered from them several times but recently they messed up my order (missing items) and the customer service from Ian was extremely poor. Because of that experience, I won’t be back again.

Good bbq at a good price. The Ribs and brisket was delicious. Good bbq sauce also. Recommend this place.

Really disappointed in the service. We ordered our food for pick up and literally on the way there. We get a phone call. She said they are out of pulled pork. Did we want to cancel the order and we were going to cancel the order but she said they were not gonna be able to process of the cancellation and we would have to call Sugarland the next day. But they said we could substitute, sliced brisket with a pulled pork. So we said OK. Not five minutes later we are in drive-through to pick it up and then come to tell us there are out of sliced brisket also. All they had was chopped beef. We would’ve canceled the order not driven up there to pick it up if they were out of everything. Why tell us we can substitute sliced brisket and not five minutes later when we get up there cause we don’t live far they’re out. Seriously disappointing

I love their BBQ. They have some of the best potato salad, bread pudding, and jambalaya. The only criticism I have about Brookstreet is its customer service. Particularly, their cashiers and the manager are not friendly, and it feels as if the customers are a bother to them, especially the Hispanic male manager. Outside of that, I think Brookstreet has good BBQ.

BBQ is best in class with cafeteria style ordering and with a big patio and games for the little ones.

Delicious.just ignore the bad reviews. Brisket was super juicy, turkey was awesome, and everyone is super nice. The sides are great. Will definitely come back. Try the bread pudding. Delicious.

I find my visits to this particular bbq residence, a much desired requirement for me, only because the textures, flavor, and sides are uniquely interlinked into a tapestry of total fulfillment. It's worth a taste, you will not regret this Q.

Fast service, brisket sandwich is juicy and flavorful, potato salad is amazing! When you go upstairs it’s such a different vibe like you’re literally in someone’s house. And LOVE the balcony on a nice outdoor weather.

AMAZING! A must when coming to Houston. The jalapeño sausage and turkey was amazing. Definatly marking this on our map for next time we're on town!

Drove by this place on Monday 4th of July and turned around to try it out since I was craving BBQ. Walked in to place an ordered to go. I ordered the 4 meat plate and chose, brisket, pork ribs, sausage, pulled pork. Sides were potato salad, macaroni & cheese. Ended up eating in my car, couldn't wait. Went for the brisket first, it was kind of dry and chewy, so I ended up using the bbq sauce to give it some moisture and flavor, sauce made it more enjoyable. Tried the pork ribs next, they were tasty and tender, really good. Sausage next, great flavor and not greasy, enjoy it as well. Pulled pork was next, went in with a fork, right off back all I tasted was saltiness, not at all pleasing unfortunately, had to push that to the side. Potato salad was alright. Macaroni & cheese was NOT at all creamy and cheesy, it was watery, taste was bland, and they use bigger macaroni elbow pasta. Out of the 4 meat choices the ribs and sausage were my favorite. The sides I wouldn't order again, the macaroni & cheese definitely needs some tweaking. Definitely get there bbq sauce, it was SO GOOD! I would visit again to try the fatty brisket cut from the point and their beef ribs. Also to try their other sides and desserts.

Had a minor take out issue (it really wasn't serious or major). When I approached the young manager in charge (he behaved immaturely) he was rude belligerent and insulting. I wasn't rude or threatening in any way in action or tone towards him. I spoke to a manager at another location who agreed that he was out of line and said he would check into the situation and call me back. He never did and I never returned again until the other BBQ joint down the street and around the corner was out of brisket and I really really wanted some. I wouldn't suggest the Montrose location because of the level and quality of counter severe. I still have a photo of the receipt to help remind me of why I don't want to go more often.

The food was good, but the baked potato barely had any toppings. Also, the staff was not friendly. We always say "hello" the staff just looked at as like " what do you want"? The staff was not happy working there and it comes through there actions. I do not recommend, go somewhere else that has a better attitude. You are spending your money there.
