Brossa's Cibo e Vino reviews
17Food was very tasty, but very expensive. The chicken fettuccine should have had a good deal more chicken in it. Again, too expensive, probably will not go back. Plus lunch offerings are somewhat limited.
We have been wanting to come back here for over a year. Shari, not a big lover of meat, has been pining for the Wild Boar Pappardelle dish. Homemade pasta with delicious Boar was her choice and it lived up to the memories. I had Mediterranean Sea Bass, which was also delicious.
This isn't cheap place to eat, but you will taste the elevated food. Also, make a reservation.
We always love Brossas! Amazing food in our town. So happy we have Italian of this quality out here. Wine list is great as well
Such a great find.
We were redirected for the parade and found our way here. It's just off downtown.
Creative menu, great service, and all very well presented.
We can't wait to go back
45 minutes from home and worth it!
Don't waste your time going to this place. I came on Saturday at noon and they could not attend us due to lack of staff on the kitchen. Unbelievable.
We are visiting the area. We’ve eaten at a dozen or so places. This family run operation with New Jersey roots was phenomenal. The chef/owners son, 15 years old, was our waiter. The best in all the restaurants we visited.
Authentic Italian. Tastes like home.
Thank you!
Garlic Mike
Love the atmosphere, Small cozy
Eggplants delicious!
Wild Boar Paradelle was ordered as well and was a hit.
For dessert we had the Better than boardwalk!
Must visit if you’re in Brenham!
This was our first visit after traveling from Montgomery for our anniversary. Cannot recommend them enough. Excellent service, presentation and food quality. We split a caprese salad, he ordered the chicken Parmesan with me ordering the cod. Everything is fresh with the meats being freshly sourced from the Brenham Meat Market. Finished with homemade desserts tiramisu and cannoli. Wonderfully run family owned establishment. Only thing I would recommend to the owners is to tidy up the flowerbeds in front. It would really help with curb appeal for the historic building.
Okay to start off, my wife comes from a very strong Italian family who cook very well. This place is phenomenal. We split the caeser salad to start and shared calamari appetizer. Best calamari we have ever had. She had the eggplant parm. It was great and was presented beautifully. I had the shrimp alla diavolo and it was divine. I was full but couldn't stop eating. It is that great. I live in Cat Spring. There is no better culinary experience anywhere close to us. We have great food nearby. These guys take it off the chart. I usually comment under my pseudonym, Elvis the Horse. Jason and Jamie Sweatt say, this is the best place in a 100 mile radius. Hands down. Again, my wife is Italian. We know great Italian when we find it!
New hidden gem. Authentic handmade noodles, scallops were on point. The wild boar parrapadelle is light but flavorful. The cannoli for dessert, shell was crispy and crunchy filling waa creamy.
Angie was amazing. Merritt was fantastic! This place makes you feel at home, but also feels romantic, fun, fancy, and welcoming. I so so so recommend. Food and hospitality is literally on another level. Hard to believe this comes from a small town. Please go here if you come to Brenham! I would recommend a food but.they are all great. If you can try to meet Angie and Merritt.
A favorite in Brenham! Delicious, fresh pastas. Quaint ambiance. Friendly service. We've tried many dishes, which were all delicious!
Love this place! The food is so good and the service is wonderful. It’s located in a old home so it is a little crowded and sometimes warm so expect that going in. We think it adds to the charm but the waitress mentioned some people complain about it. This is our go to Italian place in Brenham
Great little Gem in Brenham. You can't beat fresh home made pasta and the garlic bread is mouth watering. A must when in Brenham!
We were on our way back to Houston and decided to detour into Brenham for lunch. This restaurant looks to be in an old house, with a nice mix of the original (floors, hardware, etc) with more updated linens/color palette - it felt charming but not dated. The food was absolutely delicious - we had the cheeseburger, tomato bisque and garlic bread. The bisque was one of the best I've ever had, and the roasted potatoes that came with the burger were to die for. We finished it off with hand rolled chocolate truffles, which were as delicious as they sound. The restaurant was slow on a Saturday afternoon, but the service was attentive and friendly. Would absolutely recommend.
We were the first seated at 11: 30 am and we’re seated at a very small table adjacent to a doorway (literally part of chair was in doorway) very uncomfortable. While we were there only one other table was used in the room we were in that could seat twenty,
We had soup and salads. Tomato Bisque was good although it was a very small cup. The Ceasar salad was very oily and the Romaine was not fresh. Salad served on a small diner size plate ($10.00 EACH). Ordered garlic bread ($6.00 for several small slices.
Verify disappointing experience.
